Cool hunt! Thank you for showing! I think CSS really shines on multiplayer hunts with evade extender and morphing advance. I feel terrible to time CPP in multiplayer, so often the monster charge in my direction and just pass to hit someone behind me and, of course, hits me in the CPP end lag.
I personally prefer morphing advance to a more aggressive style. If timed correctly, it is possible to chain morphing advance with ED II. Great to chase monsters in multiplayer!
Counter peak, ready stance, air dash, firing pin, morph slash (i was using counter morph slash on the video but the regular one is better for spinning axe)
Could you risen valstrax with switch axe, been going throught the game with swaxe and my fight against him is really inconsistent. I just dont think its a good matchup at all.
There's a reason we usually just bring db's to him, his fight in rise wasn't designed very well for most of the weapons (for comparison he's got incredible hitbox's in GU)
@@Pyrac yeah, hitboxes arent great. I cant count how many times Ive been hit by his wing thrust when I should have, its the attack the carts me the most.

Sick video. It really feels like spinning axe isn't very strong. It's a shame because it's a cool concept
It's alright on a few matchups, its just inconsistant with this lad
Air dash (with stun res) makes spinning slash a lot better imo
Monster doesn't give blood blight consistantly so its just eating damage for no reason

In a direct comparison, which spinning axe mode do you think is better: Iceborne's Savage Axe or Rise's Spinning Axe?
viability wise easily iceborne since it doesn't waste your time if you have to sheathe, fun wise sunbreak under the right circumstances
Hey pyrac I have a matchup idea for you which is my favourite matchup switch axe vs magnamalo or scorned both are good fights
probably pass on this one as i would usually fight scorned with swaxe anyway
