Nice to see this was documented. It takes me back because I played over 30 shows with the Hellacopters and was in a band with Nicke. Good times. RIP Strings. I liked him a lot. Getting old sucks.

Remember listening to this on Peel's programme the very night it went out. Had it taped but had forgotten about it. How could anyone forget a live session as good as this? Simply A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

Haven't had the guts to see Hellacopters since the reunion,saw them on their farewell tour in 2008 and it was probably my best gig ever.
You've probably seen this one (hopefully there's still an audio copy somewhere) it's a radio special from their farewell tour (was obviously filmed too) recorder in a Swedish radio studio,if you haven't seen it,enjoy!

@@ettnollbajen9945 No, i've seen this never before. I like it very much, its a great session, 'better tha you' is a really good version. The Hellacopters are an awesome live band. Isaw them a few times, but not on their farewell tour. You are lucky to see them.

Its a concert from cologne in may this year, i like it very much, i think theres no difference between their old stuff and the reunion. Perhaps it helps you to feel right for a live gig. Enjoy it.

that intro for 'crimson ballroom' sounds a lot like 'man with golden helmet' by radio birdman, can't be a coincidence. Great live album.
Bet they borrowed quite a lot on some songs,still a killer band,haven't seen them since the reunion,rather keep my last gig with the helicopter's as my last
They've covered a few Radio Birdman songs (455 SD, Time to Fall) so that totally makes sense that it's not a coincidence.

It just dawned on me, besides Payin' the Dues and this the Copters don't really have a live record. I'm sure there are other fests and radio programs with masters out there that are just waiting to be bought, mixed and released.
Unless they record one now.
I sincerely hope they don't since they were much better up until they quit Vs how they sound now.
Would be cool with a live album though (95-08 Copters)
