The keyboard girl just nailed it!
And she is damn cute.

I keep coming back to this video. This is seriously some of the best music I’ve ever heard in my life. She is truly a god among mortals.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🎵🎵🎵🎤🎤🎤🎼🎼🎶🎶🎶
Imagine watching them the same night as Altin Gun
Thats exactly what i thought
We have all close cultures. Long live peace.
And Grup Simsek and Gaye Su Akyol !
I once saw them both on the same night, in my hometown Nijmegen(NL) in Doornroosje. Magical stuff!
@@tele_romeo That was an amazing festival indeed!
Here the timestamps:

i'm getting some early Altın Gün vibes here, anyone?
yes, nicely spotted! köszönöm!
❤️ Altin Gün

Not all heroes wear capes!! 🙌🏽
It has some Altin Turkish vibes, but it's actually Persian... Liraz is Israeli from a family of Iranian origin :)
Sound is so familiar to my turkish ears, loved it!
They sound a bit like Altin Gun
As a persian speaker i didn't realize it's in farsi and when i do i was high on your music. Thank you 🌌
Persian with an Israeli accent to be precise! Therefore I don’t blame you for not recognizing it as Persian at first! It is awesome regardless!
What Beautiful Music !!! As a native English speaker, it is only from reading your comment and its reply, that I realize now, Liraz is singing in Farsi, and with an Israeli accent, had my suspicions but great to know for sure... lol
@@JstAnotherUTuberCould you be more specific as to how she sounds? Does she pronounce anything wrong?
This whole performance is like a beautiful hazy mirage
Love from Iran. Long live Isreal and long live free secular democratic Iran. Iran and Isreal together forever.
@تجربة اجتماعية في اسرائيل
I dont give a shit about your opinion. I can tell you this that we the people of Iran dont want this shit called Islam and everything that comes with it.
It's all about the people! And that's what's so beautiful bout citizens of supposedly "enemy" countries coming together and enjoying the same music ... We have more in common and than divide us
Hahahaaaaa joke of the year..... 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁
As an Israeli, I find your message heart-warming! Israeli people LOVE Iranian people and their culture. I hope one day will come and peace will rule, just like it did before the revolution in Iran in 1979.
Bless the people of both. Fuck the state apparatus of both
Her passion for a free IRAN and IRANIN WOMEN is admirable 😍💔🙏
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks KEXP! Another band I’d probably never come across without your UA-cam channel. Love from UK ❤️
Same for me! Greetings from Bulgaria and Turkey!
Absolutely. Same here. Love from Lithuania.
that's it! i'm so thankfull to KEXP for the permanent inspiration. a journey in music!
Just what I was thinking
And me 👍
לירז, איזה קול מדהים יש לך! הופעה עשירה ומגוונת, שירים נפלאים. קסום!
I saw her acting in Tehran (the series) I had no idea she can sing, I am legit delighted
Love it. Mix of Iranian, Israeli and Los Angeles vibes. Totally rad vibes.
Very refreshing to hear something different.
Very refreshing to hear something different.
The keyboard and the violin are beautiful together, they sound like one instrument, but I can hear the individual touch of each player simultaneously especially on the third song. Great stuff.
It’s a global village, fuelled by KEXP! Blessings from Australia 🦘 🐨
Sempre vou agradecer a internet por proporcionar que eu conheça bandas de vários lugares do mundo.
Love and hugs from Brazil!

Thank you KEXP for helping me find background music that helps me get through awful workdays!
Oh hell yes. This is killer! Bass tone is so good...
This camera lens is perfect.
Do you have any idea what kind of camera lens?
@@jamesmcgee4818 No clue! It's very warm though, with the shallow depth of field, and an almost-but-not-quite soft focus. It has a vintage feel, but I doubt that it is.
it is I the man with the lens. It's a Nikon 85mm 1.4 ais. CHEERS
@@benkir by far my favourite part of the comments
@@benkir excellent work!
Wow! This song talks about evolution of women one year before the actual women, life, freedom movement in Iran!!
Jesus, this Shit is sick! The synths make me feel like I'm falling in a blackhole with mythical creatures dancing to her song! Kudos to the band! Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Shit would be more apt here, Shite would mean it it is not good :)
I've played this like 3 times a day for the past 2 weeks. What a band! Man! every single one of them shine with their instruments. wow!! Saludos!
absolutely, what a band!!
I have seen them live at sunday last week😁
Saturday not sunday 😉
Such a beautiful artist ❤
A worthy successor to the late great Ofra Hazah - glorious music, great voice, fantastic live band.
And THIS right here is a perfect example of why *music* is the one truly universal language! You don't even have to understand the lyrics to totally enjoy the beautifully unique and harmonic sounds that this band produces together. This was awesome!... And totally different than anything else I've ever heard before! Love it!
KEXP is definitely one of the very best and most worthwhile UA-cam channels! :)
100% agree!!
@@helspanen6121 Unfortunately, I know of a number of people who don;t dig the music, if they don't understand the language. Or if it isn't 'western' enough.
@@papagarth oh that's unfortunate. maybe they feel like it's not in their comfort zone
This is beautiful, I've never heard of Liraz Charhi before today but I am very glad to have learned about her music & her story. I highly recommend reading about her album involving music recorded by musicians in Iran who had to be credited under assumed names to avoid government backlash because it is forbidden for such a collaboration to happen. Very interesting & inspiring, very beautiful music.
Much much love from Belgium, absolutely love the vibe! Have the same feeling with Anatolian psychedelic rock!
"Anatolian psychedelic rock" ... Any recommendations? Thanks!
It's awesome to see persian funk jazz coming back.
and it is coming back funkier than ever!
and its's not from persia, but from tel aviv...
@@Dochotshot She's persian. She's literally singing in farsi.
@@sawmesalami touché! you are right, and i was talking bulls. sorry dude! i was a little too preoccupied with the guitarist, whom i know from the tel-aviv based band ouzo bazooka. I'll do my homework next time. anyways, they rock!
@@Dochotshot it's cool my dude
Experiencing other cultures is beautiful.
So happy this video came up again! Unforgettable performance, but the name escaped me and I couldn't find it. Great to see this again.
THE BASS! And what a beautiful voice. Stellar!
WHAT A SET!!!! WOW!
bassist and keyboardist made my day
No entiendo nada pero su música realmente suena fantástica. Me gusta mucho.
Ella esta cantando en lengua de Farsi (Iran) y està diciendo a sú àmor, “Viene, viene.... vivimos juntos.” Ella nació en Israel pero sus parientes son originarios de Iran. Muy tranquilo.
i listen Masta every day, it´s just a magical song, the bass is wonderful !
The bands killin it.
I keep coming back to this video. What a great performance. Great band. I’m a new fan. Keep it coming please!
Great stuff! Thanks to Liraz for introducing me to some new sounds! I can be still surprised and excited by new music in my 60s!
Elle chante en farsi avec un accent de shiraz.
Merveilleuse Liraz 🧚♂️🧚♀️🦋🥀🥀
In Khanande mikhone baraye iran va israel ❤❤❤❤
Liraz is the best👍
Damn, this is so good. So many bands around that could try their whole lives and never get it this tight and clean. They seem like they do it with no effort, beautiful stuff. Gotta give credit for the people that run sound though too of course! Great room, great sound 😊
Not understanding a single word but still loving it
I've found that music is often "better" if you don't understand the lyrics/language. The voice becomes an instrument, the words a rhythm, and the music is front and center.
Don't want to break your image dude, but I understand all the words and the lyrics are not good, comparing the lyrical capability of the Farsi language.
its Persian languge !!! woOw .
why u need to understand the language to like some perfect music?
@@_o_ This is why I like a lot of extreme metal music. The vocals become an instrument ...
The last track is from Khruangbin and its just so beautiful!
I often wonder how would I ever get in touch with such amazing sounds if it weren't thanks to KEXP. Hugs from Brazil
KEXP, I got stuck on Altin Gun coz of you and have been craving for more and never found anything good. But thank you for this. Love discovering so much new music from you guys.
What Beautiful Music !!! As a native English speaker, it is only from reading your comments, that I realize now, Farsi is the language Liraz is singing in, and with an Israeli accent ??? Had my suspicions but great to know for sure... lol
Love her music and her acting
Brilliant session. Great camera work. Great music. Catchy as hell. Love it. Thanks KEXP!
Respect from Turkey.
The sister was the biggest music revelation this year &I been late to the game.
if I watched with my eyes closed, I would think that the person on the keyboard was Erdinç Ecevit. Thank you for good music Liraz.
Wow,how beautiful.
Thank you kexp for revealing raw talents to us🇳🇬.......
You are amazing, beautiful and your songs are so powerful.
Thank you ❤️
Love to my Jewish brothers and sisters. No one can separate Persian and Jewish people. We made history for thousands of years and we will continue.
awesome live with you yesterday at l Usine Geneva thank you very much to all of you it s was magical never give up Iranian s people !!
first thought: how can they all be so beautiful? i read "live at Anova Studios in Tel Aviv". No more questions... 😊 😃 😀
You made my day Liraz, love from Altın Gün fans❤
I had the chance to listen to Liraz's debut album a few years go, and she has really grown as an artist in her sophomore record. What a mesmerizing experience from beginning to the last second of the last song!
When that keyboard kicked in 😍
Strong voice! Greetings from Germany!
Keyboards and bass. Just perfect.
Amazing vibe. Love this 🇵🇹
Here's to a better future for iranian people that have suffered immense oppression from their state. And here's to a future that not only western music will be mainstream
