Every time something major has happened in my life, these guys released a song that talked about what I was feeling. I know music/lyrics can be interpreted differently but this is just not a joke. My mom, dad, grandmother, and stepdad passed away inside of 6 months due to various things. Just before my mom passed, Stay With Me was released. I literally laid my head in her lap crying and said exactly that. "Please...stay with me." She passed due to cancer. This time (Bleeding Out) I am about to walk away from 12 years of my life. The family that mattered are dead, the ones that are left aren't worth talking to. The idea of "friends" is a joke. My mom was a nurse. A fucking saint. She cared all the time and about everyone. That is how I was. Not a saint, but I cared. Not anymore. I just don't want any of it. Thank you so much In Flames. You've been my favorite band since the early 2000s.
I feel ya, I lost may Dad back in 2021,When "Stay with me" hit so hard that I was finally able to have a song that help me grieve properly after bottling it up for so long. Thru the time my Dad was ill over the short space of time before we lost him, the I' The Mask got me thru it and made me be able to hold myself strong for my Sister and Mum. As said, I bottled it up for almost 2years before I really finally broke down. We sadly we not there the moment he passed away. But what my Dad built was a strong close family, something he struggled to have in his own childhood. He built a solid foundation for the rest of the family. Some day you will pick yourself back up again and be able to care again. But I understand how caring is hard when you have lost the inspiration to keep caring. Just remember what your Mom gave you and someday you will be able to give it back to someone to carry on her memory. I can't imagine how you must feel with some much lose in a short time. But "Inflames We Trust".
I was waiting for this moment when In Flames actually gonna sound like the old one. It won't top the Only for the Weak for me, but its still really good.
@@WFly101 I thought Come Clarity was extremely good. Crawl Through Knives, Reflect the Storm, Take this Life, so many great songs. Battles and Siren Charms were the only 2 albums I didn't like.
