Most people in that situation would have just made a white lie by saying "oh it's good" while telling their friends later that the experience sucked for them.

In Germany we got things called Kletterpark (climbing-park). You have climbing gear on you and then you do different courses. Many of them got a Zipline in it which are like actually funny instead of the dumb Zipline only stuff.

Make Love Not Warcraft, AWESOME-O, Good Times With Weapons, Woodland Critter Christmas, The Losing Edge, Free Willzyx, and I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining are a couple of perfect examples. While there’s still some fantastic social commentary episodes, sometimes I think there’s not enough of those “misadventure” episodes anymore.

For the record, ziplining is fun depending on the place you're doing it at, AND as long as there are no over-enthusiastic people and guides around. I once saw some people in Italy sliding down a cable that went from a 300 to 400 feet cliff down to a large lake.

My nephew had a blast making zip lines when he was a kid. I think if you lived/worked in the woods, they'd be a fun way to get from Point A to Point B. Lots of people have a mania for whitewater rafting and kayaking. But unless you're studying biology in the upper canopy and the zipline's a tool, I don't think it'd be very exciting. But I'm more like you on the rafting, zip-lining, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, dirt-biking stuff. Well, maybe not. But I know people who go out on weekends for stuff like that, and all they do is drive around in circles. Now, if that raft was taking me on a float-fishing trip, or the snowmobile got me to my ice-fishing spot, or the 4-wheeler got me to my hunting camp, I'd be all about it. But just going around and around the same trail multiple times in one day is just work, to me. Using them to get somewhere and do something is entirely different.

As a kid we built large zip lines running off of trees. Except there was no harness. A bit more like the home alone zip line. And those were fun, and super dangerous.
I had a zip line at a park when I was a kid and me and my siblings would absolutely YANK the hell out of it and spin it and go so fast we'd be deafened by the wind slamming into our ears and we'd literally SLAM into the other side and sometimes fling off it was so fun and hilarious when someone would fall off and you'd just hear a clang then the sound of soil being slammed into and they'd get up covered in dusty dirt

i thought this was just me because i don’t have a fear of heights and rock climb sometimes but yes. hollllly shit it bores the hell out of me. i guess if you think there is danger it would be scary but there isn’t any, and you get no freedom to move at all. not for me i guess

As a kid we built large zip lines running off of trees. Except there was no harness. A bit more like the home alone zip line. And those were fun, and super dangerous.

I had a zip line at a park when I was a kid and me and my siblings would absolutely YANK the hell out of it and spin it and go so fast we'd be deafened by the wind slamming into our ears and we'd literally SLAM into the other side and sometimes fling off it was so fun and hilarious when someone would fall off and you'd just hear a clang then the sound of soil being slammed into and they'd get up covered in dusty dirt
