Today Is the Feast of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Virgin and Doctor of the Church: Born in Alecon France in 1873. Known as the Little Flower of Jesus With Childlike Trust: Saint Therese entered the Carmelite Convent in Lisieux at the age of 15. She was known for Her humility evangelical simplicity and complete abandonment to God. Her writings which were undertaken at the request of Her superior and published revealed in their simplicity of profound spiritual progress and understanding offering Her life for the salvation of souls and the growth of the Church. She is a Doctor of the Church She died in 1897. Her Most Famous Quote: " I Will Send Down a Shower of Roses from the Heavens I Will Spend My Heaven Doing Good Upon Earth." Wow Father were you in my head today. I had to ask for forgiveness for spending too much time on my phone at work before going up for communion. I need to stop doing that and I need to apologize for my boss that I don’t have the self discipline to learn the software I said I would.

Does not a lie require a "false" intent or willingly misstatement of facts at the time it was told? Living a "lie" due to weakness to me is not a lie.
Father O'Connor how do you differentiate between those like say in a prayer group or a group of people who meet regularly to talk about God if one of the group says that God is leading him to inform us the group and this person is unyielding and forceful to the point of not really listening to other opinions of the group? Now I am not saying that the other people are necessarily right or wrong but that this person is intolerant enough that other thoughts are shut down! As time goes along I am becoming more offended to the point that I feel it might be best to not meet with this group any longer even though it's been over 15 years. It wasn't always this way but as the world around us has deteriorated that the intolerance has become prevalent. I have brought up this point lately and been shut down because as he says we are in the end times and I cannot candy coat things with you any longer kind of like this is his reason for being overbearing. Our group used to be much larger sometimes as many as a dozen. Now we only have maybe four of us who are regularly going to our meetings and I almost never miss and pretty much the only one who doesn't miss a meeting. Now I am not one of those who needs things candy coated but what do you think is right on this Father Mike? And it's only lately that hearing you and a few others in organized religion that I have began to have faith in the church and there are many reasons for this going back 50 to 55 years ago but when I listen to you I do believe in your message!
