- The BF-109 is one of the most famous fighter aircraft of all time, and today myself and Warlord decided to take the G6 version with the optional 30mm nose cannon into air RB to see what we can do as a squad. This plane is in a bit of a weird zone as it's not competitive, but it's not terrible either...

I love playing BF-109s in War Thunder but I can't help but feel that they're starting to get a bit lack-luster...
play it in enlisted
They really don’t fit the meta at the moment and haven’t had a buff in years. It’s sad for one of the best fighters in history
Also, it’s ridiculous how bad its low speed manouverability is. It had a better power to weight than anything on the western allies’ side and had wing slats at low speed which no other planes had, it should be good at low speed!

Maybe this is a hot take, but I would much rather my queue time take a hit and actually have a full historical match than a smaller one or a full random matchup game. I’d happily wait for that

p51c's can outturn bf109gs with flaps, also if they are at speed. p51ds can also do that but only for 1 turn or 2 before they bleed their speed

hello, i'd love to see you do cas with the me 410 with the 2 500kg bombs. it has airbrakes so you could use it as a dive bomber and it's maneuverability isn't terrible as it was originally a heavy fighter

Bro pls play the Yak 2 KABB. Everyone thinks you’re a bomber, but you have good speed, turn, and excellent armament. At low tier this thing just roasts other planes.

The Bf 109 G6 is probably my favourite propeller fighter in the game, of course it is not the best at it's br but you cannot go wrong with the Mg 151s and the Mk 103 cannons. I actually prefer the Finnish one for some odd reason.
