In fact, what a Requiem is, is music made for the mass held to honour the dead. I guess what this song is about is for the victorious of a very brutal battle. who knows.

The ending always gives me chills. Nobody in America can create a sound so dark, which is ironic considering that the country is so in love with melanin.

Nic proti katolicismu (všeobecnosti), ale podle mne Bůh byl, je a vždy bude protestantem. To znamená víra jednotlivce, svoboda a osobní zodpovědnost za své činy oproti zvůli a diktátu olbřímích institucí ovládané nenasytností a prospěchem několika málo netvorů.

@@peta8219 S tím Bohem Protestantem jsem se nechal unést pod sílou této skladby a vůbec samých Septicflesh .), teď si myslím, že Bůh není ani katolík ani protestant, ale přitom je tak trochu obojí. Dík za připomenutí co ze mě před 3 rokama padalo, zbytek ale zatím cítím pořád stejně :(

These guys here sound like hierophants of darkness.
The mix between the orcherstal cresentos, the performance and passion of voices and the guitars between heavy death and gothy paradiselost like its just unbelievable.
Septicflesh exist as a band since 1990 while Dimmy formed in 1993. Therefore it's accurate to say that Dimmu Borgir sounds like Septicflesh, not the other way around.
