The full concert was taped in February 2019, during a sold out show at the 'Metropolitan Theater' in Mexico City. The unforgettable night was the largest production of its kind at the venue, which included the band and over 100 musicians from the 'Symphonic Experience Orchestra', the 'Enharmonía Vocalis Choir' and the 'National University of Mexico Children’s and Youth Choir'.

most insane performance I've EVER seen
i was there, and it was amazing, it was crazy to see a greek guy who came here only to be on the concert, it was crazy listening simphonic brutality and it was completely great to see Sotiris in the stage for first time ever.

No need for the band to hype the audience as the imminent apocalypse is so impeccably demonstrated and the song played without a single technical mistake... still one of my favorite symphonic metal numbers.

This is their best song in my opinion. The orchestra could've been louder in the mix here though (The female vocals too).
Nah it's perfect. The orchestra's giving texture and power to the guitars and vocals, which are most important in a metal mix. I believe whoever did the mix did a splentastic job. I love this band so much. So glad they're being recommended to me more often by YT.

My question is are the people in the orchestra like "fuck yeah this is awesome!" Or are they like "damn I went to school to be a more than competent player and now this is how I have to make my paycheck"?
Probably a little of both and I'm sure a lot of them would love to be on the album but playing live is a whole different can of worms.

Don't get my wrong, I liked the show and the product but I somewhat feel it was sort of a missed opportunity to create a more amazing production. The mix is somewhat off, the orchestra should have been tuned a little bit higher. Also, if the spiros could just stop saying "1>2>3", "my friends" like 10000 times during the concert if would be great.
Yeah, all that stereotyped interaction with the audience overshadowing the music *while it's being played* is so annoying :|
Very much agree, they should also enhance the theatrical aspect as well. More atmosphere to complement with their lyrics.

hi @rinodb83. I fell in love with SepticFlesh, and listen to them almost every morning before going to work. So that my days starts great. The great mass of death, is not one of my favorite in the concert. But Dogma of Prometheus, Prototype, Persepolis, Anubis, definitely are.
And the Production to me feels like epic proportions.
PS I skip the last 5-10 or either 15 seconds where Seth in the end of the song will give the band some seconds to prepare for the next one and communicate a bit with fans
PS2. I get what you mean on the “1-2-3 go” etc, “let me see the devil horns”, but I really don’t mind. For sure others are annoyed, but it is a live concert
Yeah, its a live concerto, and he still is a metal frontman.
Some People in the audience wanted to see them live and bang their heads and enjoy the heavy part of the music, to feel amped up.
Spiros isnt ignorant about this, and is interacting with the audience, amping them up.
Its a perspective thing, everyone can enjoy this concerto, because its very balanced in its execution, in the performance and has alot of intensity. Musicly because of the orchestra and also is a great experience because the vocalist is performing for human beings. Not just recording a live show for a DVD release for profit.
It takes the right perspective to apreciate it as it is, and i think thats what makes this a master piece.
All that 1,2,3 and lets go my friends only makes me think i wanted to be at the show myself and not that it ruins the.. UA-cam experience

Great performance, but i think that orchestra and chorus should be a little bit louder in the mix. The sound would be more massive and imposing.

I love you guys and I bought the Bluray+CD version. Although I have to say the editing of the video material could have been better. For instance when there's one instrument highlighted in the song, the recording could be synchronized with it. Most of the time we don't see the winds. More close ups to the orchestra personnel would have been good.
The sound editing is 100% great.
I Won`t Forget that night , was mesmerizing !. The Best Band i've seen performing with all that Energy , they sound even better than the Album Recording, Amazing for Real.

Only in Greek concerts and especially in Athens and his hometown , Patras , Greece. He can’t follow the tours because of his day job duties .
