I agree. They've got other great songs, but this one will appeal to many. Slower, a bit bluesy.....but still heavy and pure. Vocals, guitar, bass, drums.....clean - no BS - this is what rock should sound like in 2019. I was able to catch them 2 years ago opening for Sabbath. Great live band.

I stopped listening to rock music because I thought bands dont play with balls anymore. The anger, the badassness, the guitar solos were gone......I thought rock was dead. Today this popped up in my recommendations, and I can say that these guys made me regain faith. Make Rock Great Again!

Honestly, I think this is one the best rock songs in the past decade. The riff, energy, vocals, building of the song, solo, arrangement, absolutely everything is on such a high level... totally awesome.

I haven’t been this excited about a band since the 70s when I first heard greats with new albums....Joe Cockers grit....Bob Seger’s addictive cool vivid storytelling raspy high vibrato.....Zepplin’s ...well anything they did was exciting....the first time I hear Humble Pies 30 days in the hole....that feeling you get when something is so Great.....thank you Rival Sons for giving me that feeling once again ✌️✌️✌️✌️👍

Does anybody else think Rival Sons are the sound that the Black Keys fall short of? I Love the Keys but these guys are way more talented! Definitely a new favorite
I love Rival Sons but I always respected the Black Keys for how they always not just played in the existing genre but kinda reinvented in and did whatever they wanted. Rival Sons are amazing but their sound is retrospective while Black Keys alway sounded fresh to me.
I love both but for totally different reasons. I dont think they are similar enough to compare even if they draw from the same kind of genre
I agree. Because Rival Sons have mastered their instruments. Black Keys are pretty limited in their playing ability. Black Keys have some talent at the soundboard though that gives them a bit of a different flavour. Black Keys might sound more "original" to some because they focus more on production and structure their songs to work within their abilities. A collaboration between them would be pretty awesome.

I became musically aware in the '70s. Yesterday, I heard this song for the first time and immediately experienced that feeling of falling in love with the passion of rock for the first time. It stopped me in my tracks. Specifically, as others have here reflected, Rival Sons has a significant parallel to Bad Company, one of my very favorite bands as a young teenager. I adore this clarity of sound and authenticity of form and style. I've spent the last 24 hours absorbed in this music! Thank you for your work! This song in particular is stunning.

New fan here....6 songs deep and i havent heard a bad song yet. This group, Dirty Honey, and Highly Suspect. There has been a resurgence of good rock lately...killer vocals...gritty deep rock instrumentals. Shame on the record industry responsible for their lack of success.

I'm 52 and this is the first rock band past the late 1990s that I've really liked. I forced myself to try some new rock and roll because I'm becoming an old grouch. (They don't make good music anymore like back in my day kind of thing). I really like these guys though, glad I gave them a chance!

Here in Italy maybe we're lucky in having a radio which almost plays just rock, metal and progressive, but I know it's just a case as that's the only one in here. All others are focused only on Italian music or pop/rap, so yeah, while driving at work, I only have a safe radio to listen to.
Brett Smith-Daniels i heard this last summer on radio station driving through oklahoma...surprised I havnt heard more about them this year. They have no bad songs. Consistently good!

My wife and I flew out to LA to see Black Sabbath's The End tour. Rival Sons opened for them. We didn't know who they were, so we checked them out on UA-cam before we went to the show. We've been fans since. Greta Van Fleet has great musicians, but the vocalist makes me cringe at times. Maybe they'll get better because they are still very young. To each their own. Nice to see Rock is not dead as some would say.
