People complaining about watching Cry just talk and type for 18mins, while I'm over here being thankful that he has graciously given us that precious time to enjoy his buttery, velvety voice.

Now this game right here? This is horror. No jump scares or bullshit like that -- just a haunting atmopshere and a mystery to be unraveled.

This game is awesome, in my opinion.
I read a lot of books, and sometimes creepy stories. The thing is, when you read you build the whole world in your imagination, but you can't live the moment. (In movies you have the music, the lights and everything, so you don't have to use your imagination).
This game brings the text (you read and you have the story building itself in your head, so the game still lets you imagine everything), you have the music (heavy atmosphere kind of music, same music we can hear in movies), and the environment in game is interacting as you go through the story. And that's awesome !
I think it's a good game for book lovers, and somehow more immersive. And I'm glad someone made this, and is playing this !

+Loucifer well interesting fact, this is the type of game that people used to play a long time ago during windows NT/XP. this is why in the description Cry said " ...old-school text-based adventure games..." because it is an old-school games. In other words, this game is not new.
The developer is genius to not only bring back the old-school text-games but also added more element and features into it such as the music background and etc to create the atmosphere. Really props to the developer to bring this type of game back.
Loucifer I love choose your own adventure and text-based input games! I feel each time like I have control over my outcomes (instead of the illusion of control like Telltale. No hate on them, just defining the difference), and that makes my gameplay SO MUCH more immersive to me! And this having the style of a B-list Stephen King movie is wonderful! Couldnt ask for more, and its my favorite UA-camr that plays it.
Yea, exactly ! Telltale games are fine but you'll have the same result with maybe a different dialogue. But basically if that guy has to die, he'll die no matter what are your choices. But I respect that.
And I agree, the style is really close to a Stephen King novel !
That's why I like seeing games like this made with new technology !

ghost toast I can't think of anything similar, basically it's a puzzle game with a touch of horror and psychological stuff. Since it's a text adventure, it might have a bit of a slow start but the story progresses to get more and more interesting. I don't wanna spoil anything, but I would highly recommend to continue watching.

cosmic latte Exactly! You feel super uneasy for no reason and also towards the end, I love how the game forces you to do the thing. You as the player absolutley don't want to, but it makes the message and decision even heavier.

Now, I know you probably get this a lot...But there's just something about Cry...His calm casual demeanour is simply a delight to watch; (this next part might sound weird) it's soothing almost, for whatever reason; and I cannot thank him enough for it.

I came here as soon as I saw that Cry made a part II. I thought it was gonna be another one-off demo sort of thing but I'm really glad to see a let's play again!!!! It's great to see Cry get involved and invested in a game and story.

I've never understood viewers who just constantly request games--cry honestly makes anything interesting in my opinion, so I don't care what games he plays (it's best if he just plays what he genuinely wants to himself) 😌👌🏼
I guess a lot of people who watch gamers online do this because they can't afford the game themselves/ are not allowed to play it/ don't have the proper console or other equipment for it. So naturally they're excited about some game they can't play but still wish to see someone else play it.
At least I used to do that a lot when I was younger. No money of my own and my parents were strictly against video games so people like Cry were basically my life savers. Now I can play my own games and don't mind what Cry is playing but I can totally understand why people are hyped for certain games and request their streamers to play them.

Yeah, they could but do they want to? I remember back when Cry was playing games such as Until Dawn. Bigger UA-camrs, i.e. Pewdiepie and Markiplier basically spewed out new episodes every day and I patiently waited for Cry because he's unique and irreplacable. So even given the choice, I prefer Cry and I can see why other people don't just want any UA-camr to play a certain game but their favourite UA-camr.
It's just really not the same. I watched both Pewdiepie's and Markiplier's LP afterwards and I'm just glad I did it that way. Not to say they're bad gamers per se, but Cry really creates atmosphere, never screams or breaks immersion and is always careful not to talk over cut scenes and such. He's really one of the best UA-camrs I know and if I'm watching a game, I'm sure as hell watching him play it and no one else. Just my two cents anyway, haha.

I love this type of game....Why?
It's because at the start it's just a normal game,
Then the story unwraps itself in the background and try to figure it out. Then it all makes sense. IT CLICKS! The you figure out the story, it's eerie and it freaks you out. It's also eerie as (spoilers) you go through the events that happened before and after the crash. But you change it your mind a little because you're in denial of what really happen. As then like I said. The true story comes into the clear and you realize it was all your fault and you could not do something about it. You realize that it's your sister that you killed and that you can never go back. So during the coma that you went in you have made up all these lies. But you can't go back it's all you fault. Then you wake up and you realize that you can't do anything but admit it because it is tormenting you.
That is why I love this game.

I don't really get whats going on, his younger self (before the house was abandoned) looks around and comes home and plays a game, in that game he is controlling his other self? The one that comes back years later to look at the house?? Why did he feel bad... Did he run away? Because he said i'm sorry to them. Or did he murder his family and that's why there is blood. Was he there to kill himself because he felt guilty of what he did?? Or did his younger self know what he was going to do and his older self killed him. Or was his older self trying to stop him? Or was his older self trapped and trying to be let free? Sorry so many questions and I will probably be answered in the next vid but oh well. I still loved it.

Well, this was pretty unnerving, probably shouldn't watch this at night alone. Anyway, ever look into Yakuza 0 Cry? It's truly one of the most amazing games I've played, awesome story, brutal fun combat, and completely and utterly silly moments, it's great.

Totally guessed the ending at 9:41 but still really enjoyed this, the suspense man, the suspense! It's like a cry reads with visuals plus on the spot reactions from cry. Would really love it if this became a series

I loved this so much! The game let's your imagination do it's work, while still making clever use of ambient sounds and simple visual changes. It was creative and kept me on edge without exploiting over-used jumpscare tricks. This game combined with Cry was amazing and I hope to see more of it!

That is true, and his "cry reads" are stunning. What I was suggesting would be more than just youtube, such as audio books, commercials, animations, anime or even better... actually voicing characters in games. Voice acting audio books would be the closest thing to cry reads, that's why I suggested it. He reminds me a bit of Luke Daniels.

I think you're looking at older videos that god views over time and comparing that to current ones.
