A troop that we don't often see nowadays and 2 new babies are waiting for us to meet - one of them I hadn't expected at all !
Thank you AM It was great to see this troup. It amazes me how even the first time mums know exactly what to do with their babies. It comes so naturally to them with nursing etc. They are all growing up. Its sad to say good bye to the boys or when they pass on to their new life. Be safe and stay hydrated. I love both of your channels and Ilook forward to the next videos. PS How about Dennis for the un- named little guy

The “awkward mom” has something wrong with her right leg. It almost looks broken.
I'm watching some parts in the video again. Good catch! I watched in slow motion and it looks like her hip and maybe even her knee also are dislocated somehow. She could have been born like this or it's an earlier accident, like a car or a bad fall. That's my guesses.

I had no idea they were such good swimmers. I assumed most primates didn’t like the water due to what I had seen about chimps. Boy was I wrong.
Yup. A great number of monkey species know how to swim and love to do so. Rhesus macaques even have web feet and hands and their babies know how to swim from the day they are born.

Rhesus monkeys LOVE the water and are pretty much born knowing how to swim.
