I like how the yearling are always a mess and just into everything. They are between not being the spoiled baby and not being old enough to be alone and know all the rules yet.
Babies babies babies! The best part of the year and I also really love watching the yearlings play, they play so silly, I love the swimming and I love when they play with the sticks and chase each other.
Hi, Mr. AM & thank you. I have been incarcerated into a hospital room for sometime now, but wanted to let you know how much brighter it is seeing our little friends, especially the babies( they are beautiful!!) Thank you so much! 🐒
It is so good to see the mothers caring for, feeding, and loving their babies. Those in Cambodia are not so lucky. It breaks my heart to see it. I don't watch those channels anymore.
@@kevintroy4329I think she’s referring to babies who have been poached from the wild (mum shot or caught in a snare), sold at a market to a sadistic YT channel owner who keeps them in a cage until it’s time to bathe them with lots of soap, pour betadine on their bums, put a huge diaper on them that causes hip displacement, dress them in ridiculous restrictive doll clothes whereby they can’t regulate their body temperature, tease them by making up the milk bottle in front of them, tape their hands so they can’t suck their thumbs- a natural reaction to losing your mum and lacking her affection and closeness, stage a scenario to film them falling off the table or a tree or into a river, wear a scary mask to film them screaming in terror, and sell them for witchcraft parts when they get too old to be cute. That was my inference, anyway.
There are a few Mums there who were former pets from infancy who never had a real monkey Mum to learn from. They were given things to make them easier to control. Their infants are definitely slower to develop, & they are also much more dramatic. They gekker more, & some throw terrible tantrums for a longer period of time than these monkeys who have less human interaction.
Oh my gosh what precious little faces! I haven't heard the sad news yet....oh poor Rena looks so sad missing her mom 😢 i thought you were going to say that a baby had died
Unless I am mistaken wasn't Lubby ill, and disappeared. If that was the case and this is only an opinion, it is possible that the authorities took her away and euthanized her, similar to what happened with Skullhead in May 2022.
All three Babies are adorable and i hate to hear that about Lubby its so sad that they just disapear and we never know if it was naturally or if something happened to them its best we dont know .

Thank you for your work and thank you for bringing me to the attention of the world It means more to anybody that you know so thank you
Hello 👋 to all the Beautiful Monkey's and New little Baby's. I Pray You All live long Caring Loving and Blessed forever life's together ❤ 😊. God Bless You All 🙏🏻🕊❤️. THANK YOU for A GREAT VIDEO ❤. God Bless You and Your Family 🙏🏻🕊❤️
I'm sad to hear Lubby is missing and that means she's likely gone for good. She has always been one of my favorites and I thought she was the prettiest grown female macaque (well, tied with Reddy) on Monkey Hill. Wherever you are Lubby, I hope you are well and watching over your family. You are missed.
No other troop has their sons as alphas this is a strange troop when it comes to a former male member and alpha son being alphas. A lot of cross breeding and babies that might not survive like all bossy family loosing their babies last year
I been watching your videos since the pandemic. Your videos are entertaining and educational. I was wondering why the yearnings in your area don't bug mom to nurse. I've seen other videos where the macaques pester their mom even when the mom has a new baby.
Dana they aren't pigtail, so what are they.?the pig tail monkey don't seem to let them pull the teet out so far, the babies pig tails seem like they have to stay close to moms chest to suck and not sight see as these stretch the mom out, but these type of monkeys seems to be more alert and advanced then pig tails...is that true?
@@yvonneconte3040 Correct. Although there are some long tails (LT) that have interbred with the Rhesus, some years ago, as a result of the LTs being abandoned by a traveling Circus. AM did a video on this troop when he encountered them in series of videos called: Sweetpeas relatives in Monkey hill. Where is Sweetpeas relatives now. AM found them on the Caldecott Road near to the cemetery there, and not at Monkey Hill. Happy viewing!
Is Libby Libby’s oldest daughter still there for the younger kids. She must have gotten sick and passed away. Heard when they about to die they will leave and go away from the troop
Libby is the oldest let's say official daughter but I'm not totally convinced she's the oldest. There are two females a bit older than Libby and they could be Lubby's daughters or at least Lubby's sisters. 🤓🇸🇪
True. But what happened to Skullhead was that he has a bad abscess in his groin area, that worsened over time. Monkeys Inc (MI) documented it and was saddened to hear that the authorities had removed, and euthanized him on 14 May 2022 . This is documented on MI's UA-cam channel, the title is The Legendary Skullhead - Until we meet again. It is possible, and this is only an opinion, that Libby may have met the same fate, in that as we know she was ill, and she may well have been removed by the authorities, and euthanized, sad I know, but perhaps someone may have seen the authorities remove her.
The two of you confuse the h*ll out of me. It's Lubby who's the mother to a bunch of kids Libby, Liddy, Dubby, Dibby, Dobby, Doddy, Rena and Cora. In this video Cora was with her sister Liddy and Rena was on her own and Lubby (the mother) is the one who disappeared in June last year. Where Libby is I don't know. The authorities usually don't pick up ill monkeys some hurt individual monkey yes but not if the frequent visitors to Monkey Hill have something to say about it. They probably did Skull head a favour by picking him up because he didn't have to suffer anymore. The last night at Monkey Hill he spent separated from his troop because he couldn't follow them into the woods. If the authorities hadn't picked him up he could easily had fallen victim to prey animal like a Burmese python. One thing is clear he didn't have more than one or two days to live anyway. 🤓🇸🇪
When I think about ridge and vivy I think vivy tried to protect her mom and probaly got badly injured and died also. Just what I think might have happened. Never seen such bad injuries as ridge had ever in rhesus macaques. Long tail they fight viciously. Think bossy and other high horns hated ridgy because of grandee. So they got rid of him and killed her emotionally and eventually physically. So sad that bossy is so hateful. She hasn’t found a mate or proper alpha male for the troop since grandee held that job. Bossy needs to be kicked out and lancy needs to take over
I don't think Vivy is dead. AM hinted that she's alive and it has something to do with Fleur's troop and a male from that troop. I hope that Vivy and Spotty decided to move to another troop. 🤓🇸🇪
Every time I see one of those newborn faces, my heart just melts. These videos are a treasure!
Me too. I used to think it was my age showing, now I know my melty heart is evident in my face.
Most moms in the wild it seems are better sometimes than humans
I agree!!!
