Don't think you can compare the 2, van persie is more of a playmaker. In his early years he was a shadowstriker. Suarez is a pure striker. I even think they would play very well together if they ever had the chance

Kan die tegen Spanje nog heel goed herinneren was toen in Griekenland en er waren op datzelfde resort ook Spanjaarden en toen eerst waren ze heel blij met die voorsprong en toen die goal van Van Persie werd gemaakt waren ze helemaal stil echt mooi om te zien. En bij de 5-1 was er geen Spanjaard meer te zien.
Ik was destijds in spanje aan het werk als entertainer. Alle wedstrijden van de toplanden werden uitgezonden in mijn hotel. Vanzelfsprekend was de regerend kampioen tegen dr verliezend finalist het toppunt van die groepsfase. Ik was de enige nederlander in een zaal vol met spanjaarden. Ze zeiden dat ik voor spanje moest juichen omdat ik in spanje werk. Ik zei dat ik voor geen van beide meer juich. De 1 0 was als wat iedereen verwacht maar met die goal van van persie werd ik helemaal gek. Wat een beauty. Ik hield wel mijn respect voor mijn gasten door niet uitbundig te juichen maar toen ze verbouwereerd wegliepen stond ik toch bij de deur om ze nog een fijne avond te wensen met een grijns op mijn gezicht xD. Dat was me toch een avond. Lol

RVP had a habbit of making a fist with one hand and a paper with the other. To me it represents 2 side of him: a troubled boy who fought a lot in his childhood and even went to jail once, and a son of 2 famous artists. He's both an artist and a warrior on the pitch. Fearsome shot power, amazing technical abilities. Such a joy to watch.

Van Persie was so gifted technically! He would have won even more trophies had he joined United earlier than he did, & not suffered from so many niggling injuries in his 20s while playing for Arsenal! He was definitely the best player in England for a couple of years, & i absolutely loved how he turned out more money from Man City to join United & his hunger & desire to win trophies rather than just accepting being the best player at Arsenal but with not much to show for it in terms of winning silverware!
