I tried to CHAT lots more in this one with less 'montage' footage but I'm also conscious that I include a lot of overlay footage in vlogs and I'd love to know more about your watching habits so I can tailor the vlogs to suit the majority of you! 🙌 I don’t know what it is but this vlog’s Tommy Takeover just exuded Dad energy. Obviously you have Pan and the one on the way but Thomas was really out here giving advice like he’s in his 40s/50s and I’m a wee 17 and moving out on my own for the first time!!! 😂 - and the advice is very much appreciated!!!

PS-Thanks for the shots of toddler feet and hands lol. I think toddler feet are the cutest and so are their little hand dimples! That’s one of the things I miss the most about my nephews being littles. They’re 12 and 14 now. It’s gone by SO fast.

Soem tips: we are renovating our house now, and we chose those dark brown floors for our first floow, which is psrtly under ground. There, it fits well. Howeeeever, we're now not sure we can have the same floor all over the house, as we have really big windows upstsirs, which might result in really hot floors when it's sunny, but also that the floor moves more if it is oftwn heated and cooled down - consider that.
When it comes to green colors, choose something more brown and grey than you would think, as brighter greens will give that "sea monster green"-feeling, and make you want to repaint the walls in a couple of months 🙈

Pro tip: if you mix some French lentils in with the Quorn it makes a delicious Bolognese or Taco consistency. The lentils help bring a meatiness to it, while giving you a good serving of fibre and protein.

I love following your journey because I feel like there are so many similarities in our journeys. My partner and I also bought a house this year. It was built in 2001, so it's a bit newer, but it still needs its repairs and updates. Seeing you make steady progress with your place gives me validation because sometimes I'm like "Gah! Why can't we be done already!? Why is it taking so long!?" I was laughing at Thomas when he said one of his projects took longer than expected because I swear, that's all I hear my partner say - "This took way longer than expected!" Anyway, I admire you and Thomas for the project you're taking on with this beautiful home.

We just have pwc windows and new doors installed, finished yesterday. Very happy!! Lucky we ordered last year, with the labour it just cost us the one arm and leg 😄

I have a question, are wet room bathrooms a thing in Ireland? I lived in Korea for 5 years and wet rooms are basically standard, even if there is a tub in the bathroom, I mean it's so standard that there are slippers that can get wet to protect your feet from the wet floor at the entrance to every bathroom in Korea, lol, and bath mats are never in the bathroom but placed just outside the door, lol
We're on collective heating in our apartment building so we can't adjust any temp, lol.
Not really! They are installed a lot in older people's homes so they can have a shower without having to climb into a bath / have room to shower sitting on a chair. Some places have them of course, but not very common 😊
