Taking Flite everyday,, when I'm not working, when the tide is right and in varied conditions. The currents, wind, the waves add interest and exhileration. I love it.
If the price was half of What it is right now i would by one straight away. Amazing product, Good luck with future development! Looking forward to see the next generation!
Live on a protected part of the Inter-costal in Fl. Two young girls have one of these and have been practicing morning and night most days...beautiful, addictive sport. Difficult to master. They paid $12,000 for theirs, very expensive. Battery last less than 1 hour, and costs over $3k, so they have only one battery and it takes a few hours to charge. Can be dangerous if you fall off and come in contact with the foil. Sure the price will come down, but if you can “fly” it might be worth the money....very cool device
Looks amazing! I have my OneWheel XR for the land cruising (and I thought that got some looks), my snowboard for the winter, and I'll need to add one of these to my list for summer in the water as well....Think the wife would have my head on a platter though for the price point....maybe down the road after the kids are out of college though. Had no idea these were even out...I always just see the kite-boarding in my area...such a great idea.
Julian Kidd you can’t shut the motor off completely as the prop acts like a brake when not spinning. But yes you can ride waves, swells and wake. We are doing some work in this area and will have some upgrades available in the future for dedicated wave riding.
Aaron Landau we have a couple of schools using our boards, one in Kailua and one on Maui. We ship direct from our US warehouse in LA. Our USA GM rudi@fliteboard.com can provide more info. Thanks 👍🏻
First off: Really nice product! But I have a question about the screws used to mount the efoil to the board. Would it be possible to use a method that doesn't require tools to take it apart? In terms of making it easy to take apart and store it or even just to transport it in a car, it seems like screws is a wierd option. What do you think?
Henrik Almar thanks for your input. Maybe there are other options we can explore in the future. This part of the assembly has to be super strong with very small tolerance for waterproof sealing and corrosion resistance. It only takes a minute to assemble.
Seems to be a few guys claiming they came up with this idea, you're one of them, I don't know what the truth of the matter is, crazy dear for what's involved in making them
James Deininger hi James. We don’t yet have distributors in the US but we will soon, and ship everywhere. Email us at hello@fliteboard.com with any questions. Thanks!
Get these prices down already!!! You and efoil both are going to get just slaughtered once a company is smart enough to price these at no higher than 8k, take all the market share and establish themselves as the leader in the space. You're making it too easy for Sea-doo
Right now we are taking the best product we can to the market at the best price we can. its a new and complicated product to design, assemble, warranty and support - in the harshest of marine environments. We have such amazing customer feedback right now, and we literally can't keep up with demand. Of course we would love to open the market up with more accessible products, and will do so in the future. But right now, our product includes a much lower margin than toy would expect, and much lower than products that you would own. For example a similarly prices high end electric bike is much less expensive to produce. We are not concerned about profit at this stage, but we do need to be able to service and support our customers for the long term. Many electric surfboard companies have gone bankrupt in the past and left customers high and dry. That won't be us. But, yes - we hear you. Give it a few years and yes you will see a range of products at different price points.

What an amazing ride you’re on - and I don’t simply mean that in the physical sense ;)
I’m very inspired by your work. Thanks for sharing!

Good ! In France, we have the " PWRFOIL for a price : 6 000 euros @
Looking good Dave! Can you use the motor to get on a wave and then just ride the wave?

@@Fliteboard Got it. Would be cool if you could ride a wave and charge the battery.
Moving to kaui. Was looking at lyft but really like your product. Let me know when you have have someone selling there

My question is about the trash in the sea, here in japan we sometimes get plastic bags etc near our beaches. Will this cause a problem to the engine?
What are the rental centers between Sydney and Brisbane? Was wanting to take a eFoil travel vacation there this summer.
Congratulation for the great job and accomplishment, main question is the price delivered to Europe...
Thanks!
The price in Europe is 9995 Euro plus taxes and around 950 Euro shipping
Can the Fliteboard be paddled like a sup if you want to paddle slow or if batteries run down?
Seems to be a few guys claiming they came up with this idea, you're one of them, I don't know what the truth of the matter is, crazy dear for what's involved in making them
Hey Dave, I was considering buying a Lift eFoil until I saw your product. Do you have any US distributors yet?
James Deininger hi James. We don’t yet have distributors in the US but we will soon, and ship everywhere. Email us at hello@fliteboard.com with any questions. Thanks!
…what advantage do you see in Flight over Lift?
Brilliant
If you use a kite on this board can you recharge the batteries with the motor!!!👍👍👍👍
15000 bucks good luck wiith that
