Not to say I have strong views on what's a proper bike (scooters, automatics, 50s, 125s, all cool with me) but this is a proper bike. Big lump of steel, more than enough power for the real world, comes with a centre stand and will last forever. It would be incredible if you could get your hands on some of the later ones that came out in Japan, they stayed in production for 10+ years after they stopped exporting and some of the later colour schemes are fantastic.

Those are Michelin either Road five or six tires and they are fantastic. Especially in the wet. I had those on my last bike.
