👆 This shares, what to me, is the most important 3 questions to ask and answer for yourself before pursuing a business or side-hustle idea you have.

👆 When we google "How to Write a Business Plan" we're directed to great resources for creating plans to present to banks or investors for external funding - plans that are dozens (if not hundreds) of pages long but when we're just trying to figure things out for ourselves - to have a clear bird's eye view of HOW MONEY WILL ACTUALLY COME IN, a single page is all we need.

This is only my third live stream so I am, of course very nervous. The benefit of livestreaming is that we don't need to spend the HOURS editing long form videos (like the ones I typically upload). Folks have asked, so DO NO FEEL like you need ANY of the items below, but since SOMEONE always inquires, below are links to the gear I use for livestreaming.
    Computer:
    👉🔗 MacBook Air M1 13” on Amazon: amzn.to/3vCQZ8p
I’m blown away by how fast and powerful this 3 year old computer is. I have the absolute BASE level cheapest possible one, and even still, it’s able to handle challenging H.265 (HEVC) codecs out of my camera in Final Cut Pro X.
    Camera:
👉🔗 Sony A7Siii Camera Body on Amazon: amzn.to/41QvqgR
There are WAY cheaper options, including the webcam that's already attached to your computer.
    Lens:
    👉🔗 Sony 35mm F1.8 on Amazon: amzn.to/4asmNN8
    Lighting:
    👉🔗 Aputure 120D Mk2 on Amazon: amzn.to/3W7fMgr
👉🔗 Aputure Light Dome Mini on Amazon: amzn.to/3U8Rzoz
👉🔗 Neewer Light Stand on Amazon: amzn.to/3U8RCkf
    Microphone:
👉🔗 Rode Podmic on Amazon: amzn.to/3vyCGlX
Do NOT buy this mic if you don't have an audio interface since it only accepts an analog XLR cable.
👉🔗 Rode PSA Microphone Arm on Amazon: amzn.to/4aJQ0CR
    Audio Interface:
👉🔗 Rodecaster Duo on Amazon: amzn.to/4aHngKW
As mentioned under the Rode Podmic below, this is the audio interface I use to convert the analog signal from the PodMic to a digital signal my computer and streaming software can use.
    Presentation Interface (slides & markup)
👉🔗 Apple iPad Air on Amazon: amzn.to/49tnqo4
    👉🔗 Apple Pencil 2 on Amazon: amzn.to/3Jfw2UB
Software is KeyNote which is free with all Apple Products.
    Software: OBS (it's free!)

Hi Maurice, I really appreciate you sharing this. I’m 47 years old, and one of the best decisions I’ve made throughout the years has been to engage in various side hustles. They’ve significantly contributed to my ability to support my family at a higher standard and maintain a debt-free status for the last 20 years, aside from the mortgage, which we’re excited to pay off in a year. The concept of becoming adept at identifying people’s challenges particularly resonates with me; it’s truly a golden insight. Thanks once more for sharing. 😊

I appreciate all your work you have put into it.
Personally I am irked by "side hustle" culture. Side hustle has to have an initial capital. It is a mix of time, money, contacts. Sad fact is, statistically side hustles do not work. Because people tend to be dumb at various stages of their life. Often at the worst times. Which results in no money, no contacts, often no time.
It is called "struggle porn" for these reasons.
This video smells to me like one of Veynerchuk struggle porn stuff. Dude brags about bootstrapping his wine business. It was worth 1.5mil to start with, he had 300k to start, and had contacts since it was a family business.
There is always a catch with a side hustle. And most people cant even pinpoint that. Let alone realize need of a capital and understanding challenges.
Please do not fall into the Hustle Bros culture.

No captions available for this video. I am hearing impaired and rely heavily on captions. Love your video.

That video was also really low on volume so caption would be helpful to non hearing impaired as well. Personally I would like captions options on all videos as a standard for all content providers.

Τy great content. I would love to know how you got your first customer and how to price things. The home run question is good but I don't know what my base is. feedback in the end : Read out the questions into the mic not next to it. :)

    The nr1 thing for money.
Don't try to save money. Try to make more money.
Any issue you have can be fixed by earning more. Imagine the amount of work it takes to think and budget and try to save on everything. If you invest that time and effort into how to make new money. Your problem solves itself.

Great insight 🎉 I focus a lot on saving but it created this scarcity mindset. But when I start spending on things such as training to increase my job earning. The saving can be growing and have more income to spend on leisure and more knowledge additional training to next level earning

So the way the internet would describe my life, my life is not fucked at all. I even have a good life, but I never realized that myself. But I want more so I have to develop myself further. I had three-digit debts for a short time, but only because I only get money transferred once a month. Never again since then. I have a very secure job, I can only be fired if I do shit on purpose or the company goes bankrupt. "Employment contract"
