Thank You Everyone for the support! The channel is growing like crazy, awesome stuff.
Sorry for the long post but I get a good feeling about what may be ahead. Even if not, you have a great car
R/T Life that exhaust sounds really cool
R/T Life I think you’ve maxxxed the Charger bro
@@STOICDevelopmentcenterofEARTH He's got more. He can still have Alot of fun
Started watching when I bought my 2012 challenger rt! Sick edits
Just Beautiful!!
Like the intro music. All about your trusty steed!
I’m glad you went this direction. These are the exact same mods that I have planned. Amazing!
At 1:53, sounded like you get a little emotional. Love it. You’re surrounded by Great people.
Going have to start calling her The ol’ blue Dragon. Sounds like she’s breathing 🔥!!
Finally you got rid of the crappy shorty headers I don't know why anybody uses them
they were def a nice upgrade over stock but as the need for more power grew I knew they would have to go
Ha nice! I just put kooks long tube and hi flow cats on my scat pack this weekend. Love the setup! Great upgrade.
Hey man i know this video is old but is it necessary to do a new exhaust with headers? I have a 17 rt only swapped mids for dynomax bullets and welded quad tips
No it's not necessary, you can keep the current exhaust with headers installed.
Thanks man i may eventually do a full performance exhaust but headers/tune for it seem like a good next step, what hp gains do you think id get from that? Looking at bbk headers
You will pick up at least 20-30whp - the stock exhaust manifolds on 5.7L is terrible. You will notice the gains more on the hwy when you push it hard
What all mods do you have and whats the best 0-60 ... new to the channel is there a video with this information?
What did u do to get the remote start to still work with long tube headers
I never lost that feature
Never clicked on a video so fast in my damn life!!!! Been waiting all weekend
hahahaha thanks man! Def happy with this setup
@@RTLife did u dyno it yet
I CLICKED ON IT SOON AS THE ANNOUNCEMENT WENT UP!!LOL
So can I get same setup for my 2017 hemi ram 1500? If so, Also can I get these long tube headers before I get my tuner? Can't get them both at the same time, a little tight on cash, it's one or the other.
Bro been saying you need long tube headers for so long, be prepared to get stopped for it. I’ve been pulled over 3 times for mine.
Stop driving like a jackass everywhere
Build it R/T I know a guy around here with long tubes and catless straight pipes on his 6 speed r/t challenger, so fucking loud lol I don’t get it 😂 my ws6 is so much more quiet with long tubes and a full slp exhaust, sometimes I want it louder but I’ll stop while I’m ahead lol
Build it R/T are your mufflers and resonators still on?
Wow.. sounds 200% better.. the clogged cat and squinched exhaust would explain why you saw your low numbers despite Cam and 392 intake.. very excited to see updated dyno numbers now 👍👍
yah that was def not helping at all! This new setup is a big time upgrade.... thank you
Now big blue really breathing good you should be over 400 rwhp now dyno time fam let’s do this
The dyno numbers are def coming - Many will be happy!
Great set up I called it I thought it look like magnaflow exhaust congrats buddy I'm looking to go bigger with a srt8 later down the road old school 5sp vs the 8sp and like the new theme music and logo sounds western like
Thanks man! You will really enjoy having that SRT engine- beast mode!
More like LION ROAR MODE@@RTLife
Were you able to dyno it? Sounds 100% better. Nice video, always enjoy your conttent. I think you and I are about the same as far as mods go. It's good to see how other cars with similar mods are running.
Yes it was dyno tuned - def going to share the dyno results this week! Thank you for the support - I really appreciate it
@@RTLife who tuned it Jay?
No it was dyno tuned by Jannetty Racing
@@RTLife damn bro why is that? No trust in Jay?
I wanted to work with a shop that could tune it on the dyno. jay is cool but the process of data logging loading up tunes until you're dialed in wasn't my thing.
I’m doing my Uber so I’ll watch win I get home just leaving a comment for now !!! but you convinced me I knew I was going have to soon that’s why I got the 3 inch exhaust so I’m Ordering my mines this Wednesday so I can get my full gains
The 3" is def the way to go! Let me know how it all works out for you
R/T Life will do got the srt manifold as well
Time to go blow some doors off
You know it! This is def a big time upgrade as you know. Pulls much harder on the hwy hands down
That exhaust set up look legit!👍👍👍👍 that rumble though 👌🏼
yah the exhaust really sounds great! Big upgrade
In person it roars like a LION!
been following your videos for a little bit now love what you did with the charger You have inspired me to work on my r/t durango do you know if it’s possible if I could do a similar exhaust set up to yours right now I just have a mid muffler delete but im looking for performance now
Thanks man, I really appreciate it. You will really enjoy modding that Hemi. Yes you can use a similar exhaust - I went with a Magnflow 3" catback exhaust (only 2 racing bullet mufflers). Def has a nice tone to it
R/T Life thanks for the reply I’m definitely going to look it into that I’ll keep you posted also I’m in the Philadelphia area hopefully I can make it out to one of your meets soon
Guys thumbs up if he should SUPERCHARGED IT!!!
I wouldn't mind seeing some forced air down the road
Why high flow cats? Why not just go catless mids?
Unless I have major major HP the high flows are not a restriction - plus I live in NY
I have to have cats (mine are high Flo also) I'm in CT they won't pass emissions without them. BOO HOO@@RTLife
HOT STICKER will solve that problem 😉 I love my state TX
If they just go by what the machine reads and wont get you for visual inspection all you nee to do is put a bung in the exhaust pipe and one in the header for the before and after oxygen sensor on the back on thread in two anti foulers before you put in the oxygen sensor it will show a different reading and is enough to trick it into not throwing codes that is how I run catless on my miata
How’s the header clearance with the Eibach springs? I have the same springs, but not sure i want to install them because im getting long tubes soon.
I haven't run into any issues but they don't seem to poke down as much as I thought
R/T Life what’s the drop on the springs ?
Sick set up bro , have to ask is it still carb legal? Crazy how a setup a make or break your setup by simple tubing
That Bee also looks so evil.
Def has that evil smile now!
There go’s the hood. Property value is going to go down lol
hahahaha - the start up sounds so damn good
my Grey Ghost is louder but I have no neighbors LOL
I'm loving the shorty's now that its tuned but I might get 3" sometime
The shorty headers really wake up the hemi! The 3" will def help
@@RTLife but I'm just on a 91 octane tune for now I'll get custom probably this summer
I just ordered a 3 inch catback exhaust looking to doing headers next do you have a link to the headers and hi flow cat you bought, having a pretty hard time trying to find any charger rt headers with a 3inch collector
I went with Dynatech long tubes & cats - I will try finding a link if available
R/T Life okay thanks I ‘ve found some I believe to be them. fasthemis.com/i-23893319-dynatech-long-tube-headers-mid-pipes-300-challenger-charger-5-7l-hemi-2009-2020.html
I hope Lou never finds out about this Pete guy. 😬 Time for some tips and new valance. 👍🏻
I salute you for doing your exhaust THE RIGHT WAY. It sounds absolutely fantastic. I have commented on other Chargers where the owners thought that mid deletes and reso removals were the thing to do just because it made the car louder. I've said before, there's good loud and bad loud. Yours falls in the good column.
Keep rollin'
Agree with you 💯!! Not a big fan of just deleting
Ballpark how much? Awesome investigate the firewall rust ? Almost 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🥂🥂🥂🥂time less then 1 k to go
I can't reveal the price just yet!
Oh BTW thank you very much!
hey did the car feel Different after 3 inch exhaust
Not really but I bet it would have if forced air was in place. the wider piping certainly helps as power is added
Great video bro. They are truly a thing of beauty. It's a shame they can't be seen - BUT - they can certainly be heard.
oh yah, they def give the hemi a big time voice now!
Sounds mean bruh
Thanks man! Def appreciate it
Hey RT.
That guy knows what he is doing in my opinion. It seems like the right way to go the way you have been building that beast.
Did you go 3in because you may be doing something BIGGER later😎
If so, it was extremely smart to set it up that way.
Heck even if you're not sure what your next move may or may not be it was a smart move.
It Sounds great and you're moving in the perfect direction in my opinion.
I wasn't sure of your future plans or what you may or may not be thinking but that exhaust keeps you open for staying AS IS or going "full mod"
I love it!!
I have put that set up on 4 5.7 cars in the last year. It seems that finally people are getting that the 5.7 is a good build engine.
No comment on the next big mod :) - but I do like having that 3" pipe incase I decide to go down that route! We will see what the future holds. Thank you for the support
@@RTLife
No worries bud.
Expected " no comment"😎 but you do have a great car and your channel ( you) deserve the support.
Kooks Headers ONLY headers that fit tight up into chassis more w more ground clearance
Best option over most 👍
Was they the actual long tubes you used in the video? Because they had round ports that don’t match the Eagle Style heads
Bill Sorenson I was just watching and thinking the same thing. I was scrolling through the comments looking to see if it had been asked lol.
Morgan McCombs Yep those round ports are for the older style Hemi heads
Any hp numbers
That video will be coming no doubt about it
Man your dumping money in that car left and right wonder how hot it's gonna be in that car on hot summer day 🤔
We will find out
shouldn't be too bad my Challenger doesn't have Powder coated LT's (keeps the heat down a lot) and it comfortable-on the other hand my Z06 is like sitting in a sauna in the summer.HOT HOT HOT!!
Hey bud how is the quality on the dynatech header with cats are they the regular or supwr flow cats
for my power level the high flow cats are fine - once forced air is added I might do catless for better air flow.
@@RTLife okay so they are the super flow cats i have a camaro with headers but they are speed engineering looking to get these for it with the cats
Congratulations, looks and sounds great. Any updates on the air box decision? Do I sense force induction next?
You never know - def not going to rule out forced air down the road. That's why I went 3" piping
oh forced air would be a huge game changer my Edelbrook Challenger pulls 500 WHP now that Ted at Jannetty's re-tuned and tweaked the living crap out of it.
Congrat’s man , so happy for ya !! Def a game changer , sounds way better !!!!!
This is really a big upgrade, thanks man! The gains are def noticeable
What mid pipes did you use because I currently bought headers that has 4 bolt flange but I have jab off-road kids would I be able to cut the mid pipes to fit I’m going catless
Jba
dynatech w/ high flow cats into 3" magnaflow catback
R/T Life thanks man ! With my current mid pipes would I be able to alter them to fit ? They are jba catless mids
Just asking for your Opinion WHICH DO YOU THINK OR FEEL IS BETTER CORSA OR BORLA FULL EXHAUST I have a 5.7 as well
Do you remember qhen you had this setup if it made a raspy/crackling sound when accelerating around town? I just had long tubes put on with cat less mids and the super 10 Flowmasters have a really loud raspy sound when accelerating.
So Flowmaster is garbage?
I don't think it is - the people that installed mine were idiots. BUT... as you keep adding HP the flowmaster setup does become restrictive. If you have a car close to stock you're not losing/gaining anything over stock because of the chambers. Sounds great
I plan on staying naturally aspirated with my rt going no further than long tubes,cam,392 intake mani, torque converter do you think I will be fine with my catback exhaust around 2.5 or 2.75 in diameter?
Nice. Very nice. $$ So question. I am new to the 392 charger world. But is it normal for the motor to idle so low. That you can actually feel it in the brake peddle while holding down the brake while in drive ? Almost feels like it’s misfiring of something. Or like it has a aggressive cam in it. It’s a 2016 scat. Looks to idle at 500 or so. But you can like straight feel the crank turning in brake peddle. I ask you cause you’ve driven more then your fair share of RT’s & 392’s. No mods yet. No other issues I know of. Much appreciated.
Hey bro, I just ordered some JBA LTs with catted mids but the vendor accidentally shipped or catless mids. I have a 3 inch custom X-pipe and 2.5in pipes from x-pipe back. What do you think of this set up? I'll be installing on the LTs and mids as soon as I get them in.
Hey man a little something to look forward to, dont forget a thing about magnaflows is, yes they perform amazing but brand new out of the box, they are a little quiet. About a month from now they will be much louder. This is an effect with all new mufflers but magnaflow in particular go from really quiet to beast mode over time
It's actually pretty loud right now - can't imagine it being even louder! Def a great performance setup though, no doubt about it
So I’m confused.. I knew you had longtubes but in the twin turbo video you said you had shortys? Did you switch ? And why.. I have shortys planning on a similar build to yours. I wanna go longtubes, cam, and then forced air.
I went back to Shorties to add some room for the turbos
@@RTLife got you. Do you recommend longtubes or shortys for built motor & forced air?
if you're going turbos go shorties - supercharger or N/A go Long Tubes
@@RTLife got you! Gonna look into some now. Just confused on sizing of longtubes and what size it’s supposed to be along with the exhaust system
Thought about doing a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft??
@R/T Life do you have a link for these long tube headers? Only ones I can find are for up to 2013 Chargers. I have a 16.
Sounds fucking amazing
Thank you! I really like it
That exhaust setup is spot on brother!! Is there any drone?
yah there is def drone - but man the performance is on point!
R/T Life that is awesome!! I have a 2017 Mustang GT with Corsa 1-7/8 LTs and catless mid pipes with a Solo Performance 3” Cat back, tuned by Lund Racing and I haven’t looked back. I could never drive stock exhaust again. My wife is loving her 2019 Scat Pack Charger with the 392 and she is talking about going with a similar exhaust as yours. But the drone has to be nonexistent. She def want the LTs!!😳 Can’t wait to see your dyno numbers!! Your RT deserves a lot of respect. Great job!!
Theres a 2019 Scatpack R/T Wide-body in the very near future how is it??@@FlatPlaneCranky
I'm following your lead bro! Whatever you add to your 5.7 I'm doing the same. Keep it up👍🏾
These 5.7L Hemi's are a blast man! Thank you for the support - def appreciate it
Big Coach RT 2016 so you got a cam and intake on your car too?
Would these work on a charger SRT 392?
yup - def wide enough piping for better air flow
@@RTLife I live in California, Nd i would want these headers and high flow cats with the Xmod Magnaflow exhaust with the mufflers do u think i would be able to get away with this setup in Cali?😬
If it's too loud , you could easily put a straight through resonator back by the tail pipes, and it would knock it down a little bit. With virtually no sacrifice of horsepower. My exhaust is very similar to yours, except I still have the stock straight through resonators on the back, and it's still fairly loud. So I'm sure your exhaust is a tad loud. So maybe some 2015 and newer rear resonators would work great. Just my two cents worth
How long did it take them to install?
the install was about 3-4 hours + dyno tuning
Sorry it took me so long to watch this life's been a bear the last couple of days. I knew something good was coming when I saw the Redemption video now I'm even more excited for the new dyno video. I do got to say though that brass bottle opener looks like an otolaryngologist's torture tool
As far as cost per hp would you do n/a over forced air now? just wondering what you have in $$ compared to a forced air package
Do the stock headers on chargers have cats? I just got a new to me 2015 R/T and I want long tubes but I don't want to mess with going catless at least for now
Quick question brother... I have 2013 Dodge Daytona Charger RT. I'm keeping it because only 3000 made in my Gen of Chargers. I'm about to buy long tubes Dynatech headers and a mid pipe. I was gonna go with 2'5 inch pipe instead of 3 just because I keep hearing about you loose power from having big pipes. Also on fasthemis.com that's all they have to offer. My goal is around 500 HP . Soon I want to get Edelbrock supercharger. Like the one your buddy has with his white Challenger. Do you think 2.5 inch pipe fine or go with 3?
If you're planning on going forced air 3" pipes all the way! That's why I did it
What kind of gains did you get
Going to load up that video this week
Am I the only Star Trek fan on here who listens to the music in these videos and goes, "Shocka, when the beats fell"?
in new header, , there is no cone where 4 tubes go to one, it is very important for making low pressure from exhaust pulses
What a great Vid!! I went last month and Al gave me some great suggestions for all the mods I wanna get done. Of course I told them I learned of JRE from your channel. I didnt realize I live 10 mins away. Al gave me a really good price quote for everything... I'm talking CAI, LT headers, full exhaust with cats, suspension, tuning, etc!! I'm telling ya, this is gonna be amazing!! Thanks to you and the content you're creating!!!
Hey bud, nice results. i do have a question though. you usually have links to your mods and I'm having trouble finding any 3" pipes from dynatech for a 5.7. My searches just keep turning up with these but they read as 2.5" not 3". Any chance you could point me in the right direction? thanks
fasthemis.com/i-23893319-dynatech-long-tube-headers-mid-pipes-300-challenger-charger-5-7l-hemi-2009-2020.html
Jannetty Racing ordered it for you - not sure exactly where to point you to. He must have a catalog or something for performance shops.
That beginning part looks like the parking area right off the sunrise highway
it's Seaford train station
@@RTLife ah i was close!

@@RTLife always bro! Your car just keeps getting better and better man!
Is a tuner necessary for this long tube header install to work properly?
Do you have chop with the greene cam and the new setup.. Can you put it on a video.. Would like to hear..
I got 2 1/2 catback exhaust on mine I wish I went with 3
I wanted as big as possible incase I end up putting a blower on it!
3" 3" 3"!! go big or go home. Forced air is now an attainable goal .@@RTLife
@@RTLife yeah that make sense! I bet its throaty as hell just being 3 inch exhaust
@@RTLife you gonna be in the 500hp range fasure if you go forced air
@@RTLife my question is do you have any problems with your long tubes rubbing over speed bumps or inclined driveways?
I see i see love the long tubes the only thing that sucks is now the dip stick hole is covered. Can't complain the power difference is going to be there.
I'm looking into Dynatech headers
I like them - def have no issues to report back
@@RTLife The Dynatech runs a 3 inch all the way around right from headers to mid pipes I may have to get the Corsa 6.4 cat back since its a 3 inch catback the Corsa 5.7 has a 2.5 piping
i have a noob question:
I have a 2017 5.7L Challenger with stock cats and manifolds.
If I were to get long tube headers, would I still be able to use my cats? or any cats?
With long tubes you can get high flow cats or catless mid pipes - up to you. Many states require cats for emissions
Can you talk about why you went high flow cats instead of no cats.. This is something I'm wondering about??? With my build.
I need it street legal so the cats need to be on there - also I don't think I will be making enough WHP for a high flow cat to be a restriction
You must install srt rear resonators, It will make the drone gone and better performance.
I was wondering if you went with cats. Nice!
Yah I need them here in NY
@@RTLife They wont even let you buy the high-flow cats out here in California
Yah I heard - brutal state to try modding a car in

Awesome R/T Life《☆》3" is impressive for street pipes :*: Everything looks high quality. Good call giving Ted carte blanche ☻
yah I wanted him to do his thing & get this RT breathing like a champ! He did a great job. Thank you
I gave Ted free reign on 4 cars already and has been spot on with every one. He cranked up my ZL1 to 662 WHP not to mention my Edelbrook Challenger its insane!
Why magnaflow over borla? Just curious.
How much should installation of headers and cat back be?
Ha Ha you're so WELCOME!!! love the new exhaust Big Blue deserved the best.I imagine everyones gonna want more details and DYNO NUMBERS. There's a whole lotta stuff that went on behind the scenes so start TALKING. LOL
You are the man! Thank you for always supporting & pushing this channel forward. The man behind the curtain!
How is the clearance underneath the car? If it is a tad low and you scrape here and there (even occasionally), you'll end up with more leaks.
I haven't run into any issue yet - NY roads are brutal to
Will longtubes fit on a challenger or charger rt lowered 1.4 - 1.7in? Or will it scrape?
I haven't run into any issues. Mine is dropped 1.5-2" all around & my long tubes haven't scrapped yet

Hell yeah dude !! The hemis sound nasty with a thump cam
Ay bro come out with different styles of the shirts like different colors.
Been a subscriber and follower since you only had a hundred or 2 subscribers. Crazy to see you almost have 30k. I had a 2015 5.7 charger, so it was definitely a joy to watch your videos. Sad to say I traded it in because it was just giving me too many problems, (Chrysler is not known to have good electronics). I drive a 2018 civic type r now, but I still follow your videos and love what's become of your hemi. It looks good and sounds mean as hell. Good stuff man keep it up. From a Type R guy.
Damn man, sorry to hear you had issues with that RT. I do appreciate the support from the get go though. Thank you very much - Hope that R treats you better
Your going to love it....can't wait to see the dino
yah this is def a solid upgrade no doubt about it!
I had headers no cats, some tiny 3" turbo type mufflers and very short pipes kicked out the sides and belled to 4" at the end on my old Power Wagon. My neighbors hated me, just sitting there idling it was loud and when/if I got on it more than 10% throttle, it was loud as hell. But it sounded so great at full throttle, I didn't care. Along with a K&N air filter, that thing was about as loud as it could be. One of the few good things about that truck.
That's friggin awesome man. Nothing like a great exhaust setup on a v8
Do long tubes bolt up to the factory exhaust? I have the resonators deleted and glass packs where the mufflers we're. It already sounds great but headers are my next upgrade.
You would need the long tubes & mid pipes. I do believe some setups will bolt right onto your factory exhaust setup though
Yo bro please go get the car detailed too nice of a car to be looking dirty all the time
Great video, getting longtubes installed soon
Calling 410-425 WHP next Dyno
Wow that looks fuckin awesome can’t wait to hear in person
Thanks man! You will approve - next meet
why not use the mopar stg 1 scat pack upgrade? not as good?
3" exhaust is overkill for this thing.
Link the exhaust in only finding 2.5 not the 3
Hey bro back again, I just ordered the same exact set up you have magnaflow cat back 3” and the dynatech long tube headers BUT they called me saying they can’t ship the high flow cats only headers mid Pipes catless.... cause I live in California :( do you recommend going that route? Will it be TOO loud ? Or what do you recommend
If you're only concerned about exhaust volume I don't think it will be too loud. You might have an issue passing inspection though. Hopefully you know a guy that will look the other way if it doesn't have any check engine lights. You will really like this setup - sounds like a damn monster!
R/T Life thank you bro!
Your car just gets better and better! I'm happy for you brotha!
