Sam on is really hard and impressive but to be honest I found it shit. I think metal should be played in a Hard and Agressive Way. Not Funky. But its my opinion, and Sam takes the crown for the Hardest cover of this song.

I know this is a really old comment. But try dialing back on the bass to 11, mids to about 1 and same with treble. Then increase the gain and if it still sounds a little bland try a tube screamer
