You have to do whatever is necessary to protect yourself if the dog was truly aggressive. Also, you never know who or what is behind the doors your knocking on. There was a court officer murdered December 28th serving an eviction. Stay safe!

It’s sad how some people are comfortable living like this. The outside of that house is terrible. I can only imagine how bad the inside looks and smells. That is lazy man. I don’t care if he’s renting, it’s his responsibility to keep up with the yard. Absolutely shameful.

Mr Penn I was very hesitant to click on this video cos I don't like seeing animals hurt, even aggressive ones cos it's not their fault but the owners and yes you have to protect yourself. I was glad to see it didn't happen. Your wording gave a different impression to many, but none of that shocked me. What did shock me was your response to a few people, your a channel creator on a public forum which is open for praise and or criticism, so you got some negative reviews but they are from people that have supported your channel. I get in your job you deal with negative, horrible and infuriating people but what I am saying you need to draw a line between them and your supporters that may not be happy temporarily. First thing, I’m a new subscriber that just came across your channel and I enjoy your content but I can tell you and let you hear what the law is.
I’m not a process server but I just want through this exact same situation. There’s a neighbor that has 3 dogs that are very vicious, they’ve tried to attack other animals and numerous people. The first time, I was going out to get in my car to leave for work, one of them came running up from behind and tried to attack me but luckily I prevented that from happening. The second time, he did his normal routine, he let them outside without a leash or in a fence to keep them in his yard. My wife, grandkids and I walked out the door to get in the car, as soon as we got outside, they started running towards us barking, growling and they were in attack mode. I pushed the kids and my wife back in the house and kept doing everything that I could to prevent them from getting ahold of me. I was able to get back inside, I called the local sheriffs office, I explained everything to them and how animal control had been contacted on 3 different occasions but nothing had been done. I told the officer that they just tried to attack us and I have it on video. I then asked him if I go back out and one of the dogs were to try to attack one of us, am I allowed to dispose of that dog by law and not get into any trouble? He informed me that I am allowed to protect my family and I from any harm without any repercussions. He said that the law states that you are allowed to protect yourself, friends or family from harm/imminent danger. I recorded the conversation and will gladly send it to you if you provide an email address to send it to.

Animal control said that I have every right to defend myself against an aggressive dog. A lot of these braindead zombies that call themselves dog owners are quick to say, "my dog won't bite." These people don't understand that owning a dog takes a lot more than housing and feeding them. *YOU HAVE TO SOCIALIZE* dogs with humans and other dogs so they will not grow up to be an aggressive bully. I wish that we can ban people from owning animals until they learn to properly train them. As a non-animal owner, I should not have live in fear of walking outside because of your aggressive untrained animal😡.
You said it yourself you're a non animal owner which means you don't know animals. This dog was not aggressive towards him and would not have attacked him. A dog that's aggressive will attack you immediately. So if he did anything to this dog he should be held responsible.

Anyone is justified in killing an animal in self defense. Othniel did not in any way suggest that that was what was happening here. I believe he was posing a hypothetical question.

People, he’s ASKING A HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION!!! If you’re too blind to see that, then you shouldn’t be on UA-cam. And to answer your question. Yes, it would be justified! I’m sure you’d feel terrible given a dogs first instinct is to protect his “pack” and his area. However, you have a job which is to evict people from the property which is no longer in their possession. The dog doesn’t understand this, which sucks trusts me but in the eyes of the law and to most competent people, it’s justified.

Good question. 2 yrs ago the jerks who live across from my son turned their Pitbull loose on me 5 times. Animal Control1 time, LEO 2 times were involved. They were told next time it's $1000+ fine. So then they and their daughter's friends have been harassing me. They were throwing fits because I started carrying a weapon and pulled it the one time. All caught on a video. That time they couldn't lie.
Because the dog ran past this might not have been justified.

I've seen other tenant's with dogs and you always say....Get your dog/dog's put away bc I don't want to have to ☠️ your dog. I worked for a lady yearsss ago when I was 16, who had a movie store and who had gorgeous Pitt (but had never met the dog) never been afraid of them or other dog's until she invited me to her house (never been there before) and as soon as I got out my car that dog tried to attack me, I ran blindly into her house with that dog on my heels!! I managed to get into a bedroom and locked the door. They put her away and I IMMEDIATELY left after telling her that I never wanted to see that dog again!! Then one night a week later she picked me up from work and I didn't know she had that dog in her Van with her!! I jumped in the Van and that dog jumped for my FACE!! I jumped out slamming the door and with that dog lunging into the door window! I was so terrified I told her I would ☠️ her and her dog!! And I meant it! I never seen that dog again. In this case, no. It's a lab, he slid out then ran a circle around you and fled. My concern is more along the lines of not getting attacked by a dog. But the condition these places are in, and them obviously having money issues. So you know these dogs haven't seen a vet in a while or got any shots. Who knows what they may have, and a tiny nip that breaks the skin could have some real medical issues for you and the moving crew.
Why does everyone act so surprised you're there? I know whether i paid my note or not and know what the consequences are if something like rent isn't paid but these people act so damn surprised!

As much as I love animals, I still watched the video.. and much to my relief, it didn’t show an aggressive dog shot & killed!! But lemme tell you, it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen..
