Corey, next time, let us see the results after food has been cooked. We would like to see how the biscuits came out and what they look like. Split open biscuit so we can see inside. Thanks.
Me too. You open up a nice warm biscuit, I'm runnin' for the nice cold butter. There is a restaurant that makes big ole biscuits. They put there hot beef & gravy or hot turkey. Big sandwiches. I am sure, your recipe is better. It's a great idea, sandwiches. Another recipe (love) you share
This reminds me of the channel Great Depression Cooking. Her grandson filmed her cooking her recipes and telling stories from her life. It really took off, and she even published a cookbook. Her grandson has kept the channel up even after her death as a tribute to her. Your mamaw's an absolute jewel, and I subscribed. Keep recording her, and you'll give both your family and all your subscribers a treasure.
@annemumford9459 I watched the Great Depression Cooking channel too! It is so heartwarming that these grandsons love and honor their grandmothers so much. 🥰
I used to be a bakery manager. I taught people how to bake. I created my own baking "formulas". I worked as a professional chef for over 20 years. The one thing I taught people was cooking allowed you to be creative with your proportions but baking was a SCIENCE. Measuring was imperative! I just watched someone who didn't measure a single thing while making a baked product. I suspect it came out amazing. Never saw biscuits being rolled in flour before baking but will try it. Today biscuits are garbage. I lived in Kentucky for a while and there were no better biscuits than they had.
That's so wonderful that your Mamaw uses her mother's skillet. Family history is so important. I hope when she passes it down to the next generation, you will keep her recipes and her stories going - such a special legacy: the way she cooks with love will impact generations to come.
Corey, you ought to have another UA-cam channel just for your Mamaw’srecipes. From beginning to end, let her explain her recipes how she learned to cook them while showing us how she does them and what they look like once done and do a taste test 😊❤ god bless your Mamaw 🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻
Have just found ur video!! Absolutely love everything u do. U cook just like my Mom did, never use recipe. She passed away Dec.18, 2010. Sadist day of my life. I always told her she was the best cook in the whole world She was 85 yrs. old when she died. So thankful I found ur videos. Can u cook collard greens with corn meal dumplings on video? Would greatly appreciate it!! May God Bless You Always❤
I’m a Hispanic women from Calif. My husband is from Ga. My father in law came out to Calif. said I was to skinny . And made me some biscuits & gravy. I never had that before. And oh my it was so delicious!! Everything thing from scratch. My mom made homemade flour tortillas she also never measured her ingredients. My mom made the best homemade tortillas.
I love that these AMAZING videos are in real time, everything is too fast that I have watched. I could watch Mawmaw cook all day, thank you 🙏 I would love to see her cook her biscuits and then when they come out of the oven, I would love to see one or two opened 😍😘
😍😍😍😍 This is the recipe I need right here! I’m going out to buy all the ingredients. I don’t have farm fresh eggs, but I’ll have to pick them up at the store. I haven’t made biscuits in a coons age, because they never turn out there like Bricks😂 But I can make one heck of a great pie crust! I kind of live in the city although I from the country when I was younger, my husband was a city person and so I’ve been in the city most of my adult life and I can’t cook for tinkers. Darn! My husband was a pretty good cook but now we just kinda order out or have food delivered. I don’t cook that often and there’s about maybe 10 dishes that I make. I sure do miss good home cooking from my mom, especially my mother-in-law who has now passed away while she could cook up a storm of good food! Corey, thank you thank you so so much for These videos I can’t tell you how much I really appreciate and look forward to watching mawmaw ‘s dyi food videos!😊❤🙌 How long do you cook them in the oven at 500°?? Just until they’re golden brown on top?
My Mama, who has passed away, used to always call her homemade biscuits, “cat head biscuits”. I have not heard that verbiage in a long time. Thank you for bringing a precious memory back to me. Your cooking techniques remind me of her a lot! Lol. ❤
It's a pleasure watching her use her hands to form the biscuits . Reminds me of my great aunt, granny and mom . The old way of cooking ain't lost thank God
Brings back fond memories of my grandma. I am gonna try this. I have never put sour cream in biscuits, but it sounds good. Keep cooking. I love your channel.❤
It's amazing how many different ways there are to make biscuits. I've never seen them go into.a cld oven usually you preheat the oven. Very interesting.
I sure wish I had videos of my Mamaw and Grandma cooking. I thank God for the memories I have in my mind. Everytime I cook I think of them and all they taught me. Be blessed!
I just love her! Reminds me of my grandma we used to visit in Pennsylvania! She sounds just like her. I used to love just laying on the sofa listening to her talk and cook in the kitchen. God bless her! Your maw maw’s an amazing cook!
I just love being in your Mamaw and papaws presents they are just good people ! It reminds me of going to my grandparents and some of my older Aunts homes for a Sunday Dinner back when women cooked and were raised to feed folks and roll out the red carpet on Sundays for family and friends to get together and play piano and sing gospel songs and old country songs !! Good memories and I thank you for bringing them back to me 😢!!!
Please add the recipe in your description so we can print it out for future reference. You really bring back fond memory Sure wished I had more recipes from my family 2:49
Loved watching MawMaws making her famous Cat head BISCUITS. I will try to make them, but I have two questions for MawMaw? Where can I buy that brand of flour? And the 2nd question how long does she keep them in the oven at 500 degrees??? Thank You 😊 Independence, Missouri USA 🇺🇸
U can get that flour “Hudson cream” at almost any grocery store we get it at Walmart sometimes or Krogers and I don’t think she has a time to take them out she just checks it often and when the top gets golden brown then she takes it out
This looks really good. I wish you could post an estimate of amounts of the ingredients. I would be afraid to try to make these without knowing how much of each ingredient to use!! My grandmother cooked this way with no measurements and she cooked on an old wood stove! I’ve never had such good food! ❤️👍
Thank you to and my mamaw is about to make the gravy recipe right now if u want to watch it she will explain her secret recipe to make the best gravy for them biscuits
Love your mawmaw's cooking. My grandmother did her baking off the top of her head too. It would be great if you could measure the ingredients for your audience before MawMaw adds it or before you start the video and put the recipe in the header for those of us not experienced at baking. These look delicious. What texture are they when she puts them in the flour? Slightly sticky? Thanks MawMaw!
My husband and daughter would get up early Saturday morning and make homemade biscuits from Hardies recipe. I'd get woke up by my husband he'd have biscuits and sausage gravy. Fired bacon cooked perfectly. Scrambled eggs with added cheese. And ice cold Pepsi. Aww so good I enjoyed every bite !!!!
It’s hard to explain how to make good biscuit dough, it’s all about how it feels when you stir it. I’ve never seen a rolling/shaping technique like hers! I always just pay mine out on a floured surface and use an old veggie can as my “cutter” 😊 I’ll have to try her way!
I’m loving watching your mamaw cook I love seeing old original recipes made with love by the.person who made them then you know your getting authentic real recipes from someone who’s cooked for a long time and knows her way around the kitchen I’m always looking for good old traditional yummy food to cook for my family and I’ve started watching yours since I’ve found them and I’m loving them Also I love her real size biscuits 😂 I love it. Thank you so much for posting this. My Dad’s mom (my Mawmaw) passed away last year, and we are trying to find her cathead biscuit recipe. But for now, we really want some cathead biscuits so we are finding recipes that remind us of her recipe. 🥹 Also, I think my Mawmaw had the same gown that your Mamaw is wearing in the video.
What a fabulous idea to crunch up the Doritos and make a taco in the package I’m going to make this as soon as possible! I love all your videos and all your wonderful recipes 💗😋💗
Corey, next time, let us see the results after food has been cooked. We would like to see how the biscuits came out and what they look like. Split open biscuit so we can see inside. Thanks.

Oh my goodness what a fantastic idea. We tried your walkin tacos and the kids just loved them,! And no messy clean up. God's Blessing's to you all 💕
I love watching you guys. ❤❤❤
Yum bet they're so delicious. MawMaw has such pretty hands too.
What a fabulous idea to crunch up the Doritos and make a taco in the package I’m going to make this as soon as possible! I love all your videos and all your wonderful recipes 💗😋💗
