Snap peas need planted in the cold; they don't like heat at all. We plant them 4 weeks before the last frost. They like to be planted very close to the surface - barely covered! They are also the favorite of rabbits and the first thing to immediately get eaten!
Ty Justine, I'm so happy on Thursday. You don't apologize for your babies being loud. That's their home. Happy bday to your son. Loved your garden video. Ty for sharing.
Snap peas can go in the ground as soon as nighttime temps don’t drop below 25 degrees Fahrenheit. They hate the heat. I live in zone 5b and I plant around April 15th. Hope this helps. Love your channel.
Hi Justine, I recently found your channel and have enjoyed every one I have watched! Maybe you could talk about and or show what’s on your bookshelf. As a new Catholic (one year next month) I am always interested in a new book to read. We also enjoy your cooking and recipes. You gave us some new ideas to try. Thank you for sharing your faith, family, and cooking. God bless!
I am doing my first year gardening in a new location. Similar situation. I am also doing no dig. I put cardboard down last fall I also am doing a raised bed for carrots and beets. I think one more raised bed next year for my onions.

Good to know! I planted my first batch pretty early but I’m thinking they got eaten 🤣

What a great idea, I’ll for sure be keeping this in mind for future content 😊
Never apologize that you are being kids, and they are home. I just found your channel. I am from New Brunswick, Canada.
Thank you! Welcome fellow Canadian 😊
Another great video. ❤
Thank you 😊
I'd love your pie crust recipe! Looks so yummy!
I believe I used this recipe but replaced the butter with lard and added a teaspoon of vinegar www.farmhouseonboone.com/sourdough-pie-crust
👍👌
I enjoyed watching you and your children garden. The macaroni salad looked good. I am going to try your recipe. Have a blessed week!
Thank you! You too!

Sounds great! It’s a good method if you have clay soil. My no dig area of the garden always does better than the rest of my garden:
This is helpful! This is our first year also doing the no dig method. Super hard clay underneath also. And a 2yo and baby 😂
Good luck with your garden! We love the no dig method with our clay soil.
When I grow up I want to be like you! I have four under five and gardening doesn’t seem possible.
I think I had 3 when I started gardening and I thought the same thing! It’s doable but you definitely have to be creative.
Justine, I just wanted to check in on you. I pray you all are well. I miss your video. I hope you're just to busy. We miss you.
Hi Carol, you are so sweet for checking in on me. We are just incredibly busy but I’ll be uploading a new video today.
