    I love how you can make a road with ease with the excavator!

      Also, your excavator makes the best sound when it is rolling! I love it!

    Man I can’t wait, headed to P-Town to get mine on Monday. You sure make it look easy:) thanks for the discussion on the phone the other day… it really helped me make my decision. I have so many projects around the ranch.

    Thanks for the content, maybe when you do these ATV roads you could talk about how you managing the grades to handle the water runoff. Like you said it is hard to see it from the camera. For us beginners and DIY folks I think that is what we could get wrong the easiest. yet it may be one of the most important thing to get right. Thanks again.

      On atv roads it is hard to manage runoff because they are so narrow, I mainly try to inslope the roads so water runs against the bank. This road I pulled a shallow ditch along because it had enough width to do so. Thanks for watching 🙂

    Man you make that look so easy. But it requires precision which comes by experience. Once you break that native ground it's harder to put it back and make it solid so you have to know how to cut and sculpt it. Beautiful work by the dirt surgeon!

    You are right, cameras don't show how steep the angle is you are working with. Its looking real good. All you need now is some more fence to be in the way.

    Hello , very good work ! But to have a more stable base of the path, it is better to make a trench on the low side where the cleared earth is wedged. When it rains heavily, it has no risk of slipping lower and sagging..

    • @jeramyreberpuredirt7873
      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  Рік тому +2

      This is the way we have always built road and have never had a problem on the low side. Digging a trench just makes more loose material that has to be compacted. And on this steep a hillside it's a little hard to get a trench established. It's much steeper than the camera makes it look. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend.

    I love Kubota‘s, excavators, and building roads. I was like Moth to a flame on this video lol. Good work there, I enjoy watching other people run an excavator. I have a KXO 80 and absolutely love it. What do you think of those tiger teeth? Every time I go into the dealer and ask them about them, they say that they were out too quick. Thanks for the content.

      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  Рік тому +1

      Thank you, I really like the tiger teeth, yes they do wear faster than the flat type teeth but in rock and digging through roots they work great. I am willing to give up some life span for performance. I buy mine through digger supply through Amazon.

    Just curious I'm in the market for a new excavator. I'm looking at the kx040 with 6 way blade and the U 48. Which you recommend ?

    • @jeramyreberpuredirt7873
      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  Рік тому +1

      I have not been around a u48 so I really don't have a opinion. I personally prefer having a machine with tail swing, they seem a little better balanced to me. Thanks for watching sorry for not being more help.

      I really don't know how I got my channel where it is. I am as shocked as anyone else that people watch. Honestly I really don't know other than sticking with it and trying not to be too boring. I have a 2nd channel for my motorcycle stuff and it is not doing well at all, Reber racing N rides so I would say it mostly has to do with content. Thanks for watching and have a great evening 🙂
