In this episode, the Slaws are on a motorhome pub stopover at The Bingley Arms in Bardsey near Leeds in Helga their Hobby motorhome with Billy and Jessie their Lhasa Apso dogs.

It's another muddy walk, before a really good meal in the pub and a spot of ghost hunting! The Bingley Arms dates back to 953AD and has some amazing features such as priest holes and a Dutch oven.

WOW just WOW! What an amazing place Bardsey is! And that pub was so steeped in history! We could easily spend many days, let alone hours, just exploring. Ooohh did you spot the ghostie in the mirror👻 Jessie and Billy always make us laugh...did you see Jessie jump over that muddy bit?...she certainly put some air between her and the ground😂 fantastic place to visit and a fantastic video that, no doubt, we will be watching many times. Can't thank you guys enough for sharing all your adventures with us ❤

Sorry a delayed response as I told you whilst travelling across Europe. You showed your friend’s flooded campsite; I am not surprised as I drove down through Alsace and all the fields were flooded and drainage ditches full to overflowing. Likewise with the rivers. It was the same as I travelled across Germany so rather a wide spread problem.

Absolutely not Britain's oldest pub
Depends on how you are measuring ‘oldest’ Mark. The Guinness world record caveat was that the Bingley was the oldest inn with a full set of brewing records dating back to the ‘oldest’ in Britain. Have you new evidence to dispute that?
