I watched Kes when I was 11 or 12 and was obsessed. My brother had the falconry book by mh Woodford an I read it cover to cover and it sparked a lifelong love, I went on a weeks course at the British school of falconry as soon as I was old enough and learnt how to keep and train a hawk and have been lucky enough to make a career out of it for years after just flying raptors. Thank you so much for this video, fantastic stuff ❤
Well I never knew we were watching the channel of the son of the man who worked with Connie ,THE Connie and Doug who lived in the house that Kes was filmed! I think you have fond the winning channel genre James, just being yourself 👍
WOW! Love Kes. It's how things used to be. It reminds me of my own childhood. Then as an adult I was in a band that that played the old working mens clubs, full of smoke, bingo and friendly folk. I later took Kes to a younger generation when I taught secondary school children who were at risk of permanent exclusion, they watched with deep interest, asking many questions. The generation was different but they could see themselves in Billy. I also used to read The Nature of the beast by Janni Howker which had a film (film 4) and that was very similar to Kes. You've taken me back James, thank you, thoroughly enjoyed this.
Just sat down to an afternoon cuppa and your video pops up. Have always loved social history since being a kid. Am a 60s London Lad who moved round with parents. We were shown Kes at secondary school and read the book, stunning, shaped me in certain ways, the way life was real, daily life. Became a Chef, a journeyman chef, moved around, worked with many people from Britain and the world. However, when yoi started talking about Kes, was pure magic of memories of being a kid in 60s 70s. Loved seeing the venues and sences from the film, brought back how we used to run errands for family. Then moving to south coast, real life, running down twittern to get erranfs done quik. To see you showing the venues and how Ken Loach used local people, made me a big fan of his. Have you seen I Daniel Blake and The Angels Share, stunning real people films, same as both of you with your fab videos. Thanks for bringing the magic of memories back. Even through life, still look out for hovering kestrels. Could go on even more.... Just to say. Thank you😊
This was a great episode James, one of my favourites 'Kes', occasionally still watch the football scene on youtube - still as funny as ever RIP Brian Glover. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for your film James , I enjoyed the content and the pace. I also enjoyed being told that this is exactly what UA-cam , myself and us all need. I agree dude. Take it easy.
Hi James! I love watching your channel. I live in CA but I am originally from Leek UK. I have been living in CA for thirty years. Watching you guys make me homesick. You are so down to earth and real. Keep up the great work. Can’t wait to visit Yorkshire when we are next in England👍
Best one yet for me James, I periodically watch Kes to get my Barnsley accent fix. Worked a lot in and around Barnsley in the 70’s this vlog made my night.
loving your vlogs, great entertainment, towards your next Fish n chip lunch. Its a drive I know, nice weeknd away with Helen perhaps, but try out Lakeside Fish n chips at Lifeboat Quay, Poole BH15 1LS, we travel down there 3x year from NN11 to enjoy them, they're the mutts! Thanks DiMick65
Thank you for the upload James, glad to see you guys made it back to blighty ok, watched Munich vlog a few times now, great stuff, keep up the good work 👍👍
Loved this idea James. 💜 My Dad knew Bob Bowes the guy who played the headteacher in Kes. My family lived in Rossington, both Grandads worked at the colliery. I was born in Donny. This connection brings back lots of family memories. I’m the only one left now. But a saving grace, when my first grandson was born In Rotherham this June - staying true to our roots. 😊 I live in North Wales now. So I appreciate your channel very much 🙏🏾
Absolutely brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed this episode, Kes is one of the best films ever! Great nostalgic trip down memory lane for us 50 plus humans 👌👍
I love Ken Loach films, particularly Kes, Cathy Come Home & Up the Junction, I keep meaning to go and see the stage play of Kes but never seen to get round to it. Interesting video James... well done that man 👍 All the best, David
That film was so true to life then.I remember crying for that lad who teared up after getting the cane-how things have changed!!! Great deyective work 😊
Absolutely loved this, love watching you and Helen but this random vlog has been brilliant…..I grew up watching Kes so this was really interesting. The pace of this like another person said was spot on, brilliant inserts would love to see more like this inbetween the James and Helen vlogs. Looking forward to more like this .
Loved that video & what a brilliant look back at one of the best UK films ever made. I've met Ken Loach he's a top bloke & still making brilliant films. Well done James.
Aw mate, can’t believe we’ve just come on to watch your latest video, literally half an hour before I’ve just showed my 23 year old daughter the clip of Kes and explained it’s one of my favourite films, classic !! Love your stuff, me and the wife chuckle our heads off at some of your videos 👍😂. Come to Stone in Staffs and we’ll show you the sites, give us a shout out, Steve & Michelle 🥰👍
Hi James - good bit of background in & around Barnsley. Pubs are closing ( on the South Coast ) all over the place these days. You opened my eyes telling the cost of a pint on your travels & I remember thinking no wonder Pubs are disappearing. The film Kes, I recall well. I thought it was a bit raw at the time and I still do. That youngster had it hard; good job he was a little hard nut. I like the Yorkshire folk coming through on your video, very approachable & friendly. Well done again. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
This is bloody brilliant, love the randomness of it all, i remember doing Kes at school for my GCSE English literature exams, and watching the film in class, really interesting to see the chip shop etc. More of these 'winging it' videos please!
I really loved this, James. It was something totally unexpected and different. Loved your Sherlock impersonation "this bloke is called Donner kebad70......" epic deduction lol. Seriously though, you should do more like this! Much respect- Kenny
Just watched your Munich videos , believe it or not I should have been there last week following man united , you must have seen a lot of united fans about round Marienplatz Just watching your Kez video ! God this takes me back to my childhood, loved the film you going the places from the film is heartwarming Brilliant Mate keep up the fantastic work ( Bridlington) !!
Fantastic vlog, Kes was certainly a classic (Casper get down from that crossbar 🤣)couldn’t help but piss ourselves laughing when you were reading out the trip advisor reviews 🤣🤣 How’s about visiting the scenes from The Last of The Summer Wine, there’s also a cracking chippy at Holmfirth called Compos Sithee
Enjoyed this trip down memory lane and especially with you adding the film scenes in. Totally agree that Kes was a fantastic film and I remember those times! Another excellent (of its time) and shocking (todays standard) film is Rita, Sue and Bob too - am sure there are a few locations to visit. Also an excuse to watch the film again - which would never be allowed to be filmed today. Andrew Dunbar was a genius of a writer! You can visit Sheffield and do "The Full Monty" before heading up to Bradford! You could become a mobile Barry Norman/Roger Cooke reporting on UK films and behind their scenes with a side of food reviews enroute!
Kes a video from school days, Casper's chippy visited few year ago, remember cuttings from newspapers on walls of KES. James, this is one of best videos made ,, Seriously something about your videos which you can't do anything but watch. Your honesty shines through, yes maybe not overconfident and spend half time apologizing, but that good. Figures show people enjoy you. Seriously well done !
Brilliant vlog jud....my mum is from Wentworth.....I have cousins in Hoyland....all tho I live in Dinnington...I spent many Sundays in Hoyland...top stuff mate...no finer film than KES.,...🦅
Great idea for a series, there a plenty of Yorkshire films and locations to keep you going. I've been to Hoyland quite a few times over the past couple of years and didn't know one of the best British films ever was filmed there (or maybe I forgot 😂) or I would have to go on adventure as well. The headmaster in Kes was my mums actual headmaster when she was at school in Castleford.
Lovely video. Yes Kes is a memorable film, I lived in Cudworth in my youth, the dards was our regular watering hole on a Friday evening in the late 60's only 17 but hey they were the days Lovely Barnsley Bitter, You could do a video where Brassed off was filmed, some of it in Grimethorpe not far from Cudworth. Have a think about it.
Hi James just wanted to say thank you for your vlogs watching you and Helen on your travels have helped me get through a long old deployment with the RN can’t wait to get home for some fish and chips 😁
Just started watching your channel, love both of you. Your Kes video brought back so many memories. If you are going down this road of old film locations, please keep it northern & real. P.S bland tasting fish is usually Pollock or Basa a cheaper version of Cod or Haddock, rip off chippy's use. Nice quality videos and editing, I know it takes a lot of effort & time, but that shines through.
Enjoyed that James, kes is an absolute classic.sad to see a lot of the buildings in yhe film gone.shame Casper's was closed but it seems blessing in disguise.enjoyed your munich vlog,so funny on that fair ground ride when you got off after all that ale .😅.
Hi james its nice to see around your local area i grew up in chelmsford essex. But have lived in australia for the past 53 years good to see your fish and chip review you remind me of the mc master he does a lot of food reviews too. Pity about helen working she is a bit giggly l had to laugh when she said she thought you was going to go down on one knee your face was priceless. I like to shop in aldi like helen ❤❤😂😂
Loved this it brought back memories of my school days going to see Kes with my class 😊....James I love watching all your videos, so you must be doing something right!....also just to say Helen is a beautiful lady and a breath of fresh air, keep hold of her 😊
Being across the other side of the world, I enjoy anywhere you go. Bill and I will watch the movie if we can get it. We have been thinking of asking you about going to Pocklington in Yorkshire where Bill's grandad came from. We have been trying to trace the great grandma. Anyway, loved your video.❤🇦🇺
Enjoyed the vlog, very interesting social history never found it appealing until I started researching our family tree, surprising what you learn about your family and the locality your researching, it all adds to the bigger picture. It's good to see someone getting excited about their future endeavours and I'm sure it will be a very enjoyable and rewarding journey for us all. 👍
Good video! Thank you. Kes was one of the books to read at school. Then we were treated with a Friday afternoon of watching the film. Great film and lovely memories.
Cracking vid ,i grew up watching kes,,one of ken loaches finest works ,a british institution ,its great to see what its like now compared to what it was like back then,,everyi one of them were excellent actors ,,wonder what happened to the school 🎬🎥
We loved watching this Vlog. Very entertaining and allso funny. Billy Elliot follow up would be interesting, Just found your chanel when you visited our home town of greatyarmouth. We too are from Yorkshire ,so love your Humour. All the best for the channel, Susan and John.
I've not watched Kes for years but I'm now inspired to give it another watch. Thanks James. Next on the list can be locations from The Full Monty in Sheffield!
Hi James, Loving the idea of cultural trips and fact finding, it was great to see clips from Kes a fantastic film think you have to be local for the accent 😅. Triple H chippy doesn't look bad but the chios looked like they were from yesterday and refried 😮. Looking forward to more great vlogs from you on your own or with Helen. Take care 😊 Paul and Joanne 👍 sithe.
great Vlog James, keep it up as i always look forward to seeing my favorite channel, i need to watch Kes again now as its been years since i seen that... all the best buddy, Alec
By gum James, you really are mixing up the content! I really enjoyed that. Very nostalgic. The clips reminded me very much of growing up on a Yorkshire council estate in the 70s. When the lads were caned it was so moving. I think I had something in my eye…😢 Your enthusiasm and love for the film was absolutely clear. Perhaps Sheffield and a Full Monty documentary next? 🤔😜 I’m glad you mentioned Lynne Perry because the clip flashed up and I thought “isn’t that Ivy Tilsley?” 😂
Hi James, thanks for this Vlog 😊 I really enjoyed it. Love Kes. Also, when you and Helen were on the top of Mam Torr my son and his girlfriend walked behind you (when you was saying about people with drones) small world. Keep up the great content, with love from a Donny girl 😊
The film whistle down the wind was filmed 1961 in Downham (small village) about 10 miles from me (in Burnley) Hayley Mills and Alan Bates starred also used locals to star in it, great vid i remember when Kes came out on telly awesome film very true to life, life was really like that then i was nine when it was made , i remember making gas tar lollies on hot days using lollie pop sticks from the sun melted tar on our cobbled back street, love the vids keep them coming
That first review of caspers of owner reading newspaper was exactly what happened in film! 🤣 Maybe he was doing that for the tourists to stay accurate to the film. 😂 Top video mate, keep them coming.
Hi James and Helen. I'm a new subscriber, I only come across your videos over the last week. I'm 52 now and I actually find what you both do inspiring, I finish work and once I've had my tea I'm thinking about going to bed, same at the weekend. So watching you or both of yous getting out and about is definitely something me and my lady friend should be doing. Keep up the good work.
Hi up James loved your video that scene in the headmasters office creases me up every time I watch it that little lad had only gone to give the headmaster a message poor bugger. I've stood in the headmasters office on many occasions in the late 70s waiting for a caneing and getting another 2 for laughing. It's been the only dvd over the years that I won't be taking to a charity shop.😅
Ps James have you checked out "The price of coal " also a Barry Hines ken loach film it could be your next assignment if you choose to accept it This message will self destruct in 5 minutes.😮
That was pure bloody genius, I laughed all the way through it, very cleverly done and extremely funny. Love, love love your sense of humour, God bless northerners!😂😂😂😂
Another great vlog James, saw the film when i was really wee, mite need to give ut another watch! Should find some other British classic sites and do them too. Don't know if you try to come over grumpy, but i actually think you're hilarious 😂 your satire/sarcasm isn't lost on me, keep it up! 😊
Ey up Roger, l enjoyed that, I deliver around Barnsley quite alot and think about the Kes locations so it's great if see them. The Brian Glover scene is epic. There's a good Greg Davies film on here worth a watch. Cheers James, keep up the good work 👏
Really appreciate this video mate. My nan used to work at Edward Sheerien as a dinner lady and met Dai Bradley and Brian Glover. Believe it or not my nan recognised him from wrestling and was gobsmacked. There's all-sorts around Barnsley and the surrounding area from monk bretton priory to Wentworth. I used to go to school at Grange gate and priory and we used to go into lundwood for our dinner. Barnsley gets a lot of stick but historically it's brilliant. Fab video mate
I used to go to Edward Sheerian I left in 1978 a long long time I'm very old 😂🤣😂 it was a good school back in the day My house at Carlton was on the film Kes
@@richm2835 Exactly! One of the earliest memories of my nan was her getting ready to go see wrestling at the civic in Barnsley. She went all over the country watching world of sport wrestling!
@@thesolidsnakealpha Saturday afternoon viewing in the 70s World of Sport with Dickie Davies . Recall names like Kendo Nagasaki , Les Kellet and Mick McManus . Life was much less complicated back then as these old screen plays illustrate , and I'm sure people in general were happier , or is that just selective memory ? .
@@richm2835Do you remember Ricki Starr? After seeing him on TV , was made up when my dad got two tickets to see him in action at The Liverpool Stadium. It was the early 1960s and when you’re a kid you thought wrestling was actually real and not stage managed. . The big day arrived and couldn’t wait to see the ‘ballet dancer’ wrestler in action. From memory, Ricki took a blow to the face in the very first round and had to retire injured with a bad cut. I thought wrestlers were not supposed to get hurt ! If anyone has never seen Ricki Starr in action take a look on UA-cam . He was hilarious. By the way, Brian Glover ( l’m Bobby Charlton) was brilliant in ‘ kes’ .
Kes was the first book I got out of the local library under my own steam when I was about 11 years old. I revisited that local library during last summer and was surprised that it had been closed and turned into some kind of 'community centre'. Local public libraries started closing before the local pubs. So now the council estate I grew up on has neither a pub nor a library.
Love your humour!! I would like to see you do a good walkabout in Lyme Regis. Went there every summer as a kid and adore the place. Fab aquarium, the cob wall that was in French Lieutenants whatever, Jurassic coastline, all round stunning seaside town. Tell Helen she works too hard. U2 could eventually become a van lifer family. I hope you do one day. Great vid, loved Kes. Thanks x
Brilliant kes vid. We are in monkbretton so not far off these places. At 43 find memories of kes and a childhood of familiar way of life. Shaws fish and chips dodworth
EY-UP James, I have just watched the KES vid, well done pal. There have been a couple of TV things filmed on my local streets, a film staring Sean Bean about him playing football for Sheffield utd I think it was called SATURDAY NIGHT 🤔and also the THIS IS ENGLAND by Shane Meadows. I hope you can source them and do a KES type review. I think Casper left the dog in the cul-de-sac 😂. BEST WISHES Mick. GLEADLESS VALLEY SHEFF’ 👍
Omg I just got watched this recorded it off the box brill film can’t beat British films ❤ days of my youth back then .. Sad film but awesome life film … aww that poor lil lad that got the cane 😢. God makes me hungry you crunching on yr fish batter 😂Wat a blooming awesome video enjoyed every minute thankyou loved it ❤❤❤
Brilliant as usual James, go check out SouthCliff Fisheries in Withernsea proper sheffield fishcakes and all cooked in beef dripping a real back street chip shop like we remember back in 70s and very reasonably priced too. While there check out withernsea lovely little seaside town.
Hi James I was watching Max and Paddy's Road to nowhere the other day... n I was like ong that accent and Peter kay and Paddy Mcguinnes Oh m G lol. Keep up the good work laar 😊
Wonderful idea and presentation James. So honest, funny with dry humour as well as informative. Keep up the good work. No bias here as a Yellerbelly! 😜
I bloody enjoyed that James . It was kind of ``off the cuff`` and it was like we were in the van with you. To be honest, after watching lots of videos on You Tube, i decided years ago that there is so much that i have not seen in Britain, even just in England and there are so many places i never knew existed too. I mentioned in a message to you last week about ``Burton-On-The Water`` in the Cotswolds as a place i came across .. A great idea i thought about was where you and Helen went on one of these Haunted Overnight stays because i`m sure it would be hilarious. Anyway James, keep safe and sithee soon!
Great Vlog James - I saw Kes when I was about 11 and it had a profound affect on me. Never forgot the awful tragedy of it and though I was in Birmingham not Barnsley it spoke to me about the stunted and wasted lives of the working classes (of which I am one). It did make me want to be better though and live a larger life and I managed to do that.
Good show James. Hey! I think I have a beer battered haddock in the freezer, so fish and curry chips it is for me at 12:15 am 😆 I won't blame you of course James 🤣
Check out the 1971 Michael Caine movie, Get Carter, filmed in the Newcastle area. Go up the road there and find and film the old locations. The Sylvester Stallone later version was crap. Caine’s was a classic! Loving your work down here in Australia. I have Yorkshire connections around Garforth.
Awwh that little lad who got caned..&was crying..😢touched me. Loved this bit of filming, thanks👍 Ps.those 2 women hairspraying their hair in the street...soo funny❤
@@michelles2299 jees🫣I got pumped once,of a teacher on my leg for talking when shouldnt be i cried IT was in PE. ..my mum ran down to school to complain..a northern mum..the 👌 best.
This was the only book that I read that really interested me when I was 12yr old,the film was brilliant and I can't remember how many times I've watched it 💙
Omg memories flooding back. Watched Premier at The Ritz on peel St, David came on stage and us kids were proud. They hand picked the kids from raley (now Honeywell n St Helens the school david went to in athersley George speed julie, franki some of the lucky kids you see in the classroom scene used thier real names. And Glover. He lived in end bungalow on honeywell St next to flats, his daughter my age ....he moved when he became famous. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, your videos just get better. Just be you james love your content. And a eyup to Helen🙂
Hey up James good video that. When the film was first released I was at Raley secondary modern school later renamed Honeywell. One day while it was on at the Odeon in the town centre we were all marched down there to watch it.

You're mannerisms are so endearing also you have a deadpan comic timing which is so honest and hilarious. Loving this channel more with every video. 😊

Gr8 vid James, absolutely love Kes.. The footy scene wi Billy diving wrong way cracks me up every time 😂
Just started watching your channel, love both of you.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it 😊
James..my wife and myself are really enjoying your content..so very natural..ATB from East Devon👍
Thank you!

Hi there mate great bit history
Of or town in joy won't you do
On your channel good on you mate
Oh that was a brilliant film and brought back a lot of memories. Nice one James our number 1 intrepid reporter 😊
Good video! Thank you.
Kes was one of the books to read at school. Then we were treated with a Friday afternoon of watching the film.
Great film and lovely memories.
Glad you enjoyed it!

I've not watched Kes for years but I'm now inspired to give it another watch. Thanks James. Next on the list can be locations from The Full Monty in Sheffield!
That's on my list :-)
Hi James,
Loving the idea of cultural trips and fact finding, it was great to see clips from Kes a fantastic film think you have to be local for the accent 😅.
Triple H chippy doesn't look bad but the chios looked like they were from yesterday and refried 😮.
Looking forward to more great vlogs from you on your own or with Helen.
Take care 😊
Paul and Joanne 👍 sithe.
Thank you :-)

Ti's a pleasure 😊
great Vlog James, keep it up as i always look forward to seeing my favorite channel, i need to watch Kes again now as its been years since i seen that... all the best buddy, Alec
Thanks Alec
By gum James, you really are mixing up the content!
I really enjoyed that. Very nostalgic. The clips reminded me very much of growing up on a Yorkshire council estate in the 70s. When the lads were caned it was so moving. I think I had something in my eye…😢 Your enthusiasm and love for the film was absolutely clear. Perhaps Sheffield and a Full Monty documentary next? 🤔😜
I’m glad you mentioned Lynne Perry because the clip flashed up and I thought “isn’t that Ivy Tilsley?” 😂
Thank you, I'm planning on making a Full Monty version
Hi James, thanks for this Vlog 😊 I really enjoyed it. Love Kes. Also, when you and Helen were on the top of Mam Torr my son and his girlfriend walked behind you (when you was saying about people with drones) small world. Keep up the great content, with love from a Donny girl 😊
It is a small world :-) Glad you liked the vlog
Great vidio James I loved that film kes went to pictures to see when it first come out , thank you
The film whistle down the wind was filmed 1961 in Downham (small village) about 10 miles from me (in Burnley) Hayley Mills and Alan Bates starred also used locals to star in it, great vid i remember when Kes came out on telly awesome film very true to life, life was really like that then i was nine when it was made , i remember making gas tar lollies on hot days using lollie pop sticks from the sun melted tar on our cobbled back street, love the vids keep them coming
That first review of caspers of owner reading newspaper was exactly what happened in film! 🤣 Maybe he was doing that for the tourists to stay accurate to the film. 😂
Top video mate, keep them coming.
Great Vlog James.Kes is one of my all time favourite films.
good stuff. kes, saw it in 1969, still at school, billy casper what a film
Go for it Craig, I love going on our little trips
Thank you!
Another great vlog James, saw the film when i was really wee, mite need to give ut another watch! Should find some other British classic sites and do them too. Don't know if you try to come over grumpy, but i actually think you're hilarious 😂 your satire/sarcasm isn't lost on me, keep it up! 😊
Thank you, I'm happy grumpy 😂

Ey up Roger, l enjoyed that, I deliver around Barnsley quite alot and think about the Kes locations so it's great if see them. The Brian Glover scene is epic. There's a good Greg Davies film on here worth a watch.
Cheers James, keep up the good work 👏
Loved it! One of your best vlogs!
James! loved this, Kes absolute classic! Like real life to me growing up on council estate in 70's darn road in Pontefract!!
I bet your Nan remembered him as "Leon Arras The Man from Paris"?
It's such a shame
enjoyed this thanks was great to see you filming in my village of cudworth (cudeth to locals)
We read the book Kes as part of the school curriculum. Loved the film too. My family are all from Cudworth. Nowt like Barnsley folk 😊xxx
Thanks x
I hope so, one day 😊
By gum lad the content just gets better and better. Sith thee
God makes me hungry you crunching on yr fish batter 😂Wat a blooming awesome video enjoyed every minute thankyou loved it ❤❤❤
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant as usual James, go check out SouthCliff Fisheries in Withernsea proper sheffield fishcakes and all cooked in beef dripping a real back street chip shop like we remember back in 70s and very reasonably priced too. While there check out withernsea lovely little seaside town.
Thank you and thanks for the tip

Wonderful idea and presentation James. So honest, funny with dry humour as well as informative. Keep up the good work. No bias here as a Yellerbelly! 😜
One of my fave all time movies we even did a play in school on it my way of life was very much the same was always upto mischief good vlog 👍👍
Hi James u brought back some memories for me with that film and what a film Happy travels
Thank you, we really want to make a haunted video, Ive been doing some research and Im emailing people to try and set something up
@@bythecurb Oh great, it would be a really good laugh i reckon .. I can just imagine Helen trying to spook you and vice versa!
I own the Kes dvd signed lol classic. Another excellent watch thanks James
We read Kes at school. My English teacher was from up North. So he always pick books from up North to read. I'm from the Midlands 😊
Love this video James keep on doing what you're doing original and real 👏 x
Thanks so much!!
Good show James. Hey! I think I have a beer battered haddock in the freezer, so fish and curry chips it is for me at 12:15 am 😆 I won't blame you of course James 🤣
Love this content.....film locations and chip shop reviews!
Love that film
Enjoyed that James.. cracking movie that Kez.. ATB 🏴🇨🇦
Awwh that little lad who got caned..&was crying..😢touched me.
Loved this bit of filming,thanks👍
Ps.those 2 women hairspraying their hair in the street...soo funny❤

This was the only book that I read that really interested me when I was 12yr old,the film was brilliant and I can't remember how many times I've watched it 💙
Kes was a great film. I grew up the same time, so it rang a lot of bells with me.
Thank you Carole
Hey up James good video that. When the film was first released I was at Raley secondary modern school later renamed Honeywell. One day while it was on at the Odeon in the town centre we were all marched down there to watch it.
Great film mate - really enjoyed your vid. thank you
