Here is the worst war movie I have seen in my life. A co-production Italy / Spain and shot entirely in Spain in the same locations as spaghetti westerns. Weapons, uniforms and armored vehicles all wrong. The title in German distribution has become MONTECASSINO. A vomit of film.

Oh, My God! 70´s Spaniard Army uniforms and weappons like Cetme C with US M48 Tanks in, US Army..... In that`s times the spanish helmet was very similar than whermatch helmet an use the MG54/58 (MG42 in 7.62 mm NATO). The SMG used that appears a MP38/40 is a Star Z45 in 9 mm x 23 Largo.... Off Course this movie was filmed in Spain and Off Course the location must be Almeria where was filmed a lot of westerns (with the same sets) and local spanish actors. XD
The tanks are M47 Pattons. Different from the M48s

The CETME, was the " father" of the HK-91 (G. 3), made in Spain by H&K, during the time that Germany was not allowed to have armament industry,after WW-2.
The moment this embargo was lifted, and from their previous Spanish CETME, they started making the G. 3in Germany.
And 7,62×51 NATO, it's what the military "intelligence", called the .308Winchester

Oh, yeah, they came in the same shipment as the US M47 Patton tanks the Germans are driving. But some of the tanks have a sharp square "chine", the M47/48 had a rounded "chine" (hull leading edge) Hmmm Definitely M47 turrets. "We thought you were Americans..." Because AMERICAN TANKS! LOL

The M1 looked like that later in the war. The German helmet covered the ears and neck more. They didn't look like tiger tanks though so who knows in these low budget films. lol
