I was literally cheering in my living room when Ronnie started piping drives with 215 carry. That was amazing and wonderful!! It is easy to see why Ian and the boys love their jobs; how could you not love helping a guy like Ronnie maximize his game! It is almost magical. Well, done, Mr. Fraser.
Being an older guy in my very very very late 60's I'm so glad to see an older guy being fitted, and the fittings with these newer lighter weight golf shafts. Plus actually seeing gains in the major areas that promote higher, farther ball flight with less spin, it's good to see the light burn bright in and older golfers eyes again. Thanks Ian, good stuff.

I have read his post every day since he posted it, and it gives me chills, not in an good way. However, Matt is very intelligent which can be a great crutch during these times of mental strain in addition to pre existing issues. I know you must be checking in with him a lot and making sure he knows how much he is loved, he will appreciate that my friend. I would love to whisk him away over here to Perth Aus for some Vitamin D and sunshine, he deserves to feel good. Be the best friend Ian, I know he will pull through with support. Damn lockdowns, I dare not say more.

Good for him...I've watched Ian and Matty for a while...even when Matt first came on and I have to say that I thought you were good then Ian, but dang! That switch to the "Pink Panther", then a little more loft to eliminate the left direction was so good. I am still looking to traveling up to see you for a fitting before I am too old to swing a club.
Lindsay Knowlton and Ronnie are my two favourite guests on your channel. Ronnie’s trouble areas are mine exactly. My 22* hybrid is nothing but trouble and height is an issue. Lindsay’s tempo is the gold standard for me. Thanks Ian. Thinking if Matty.

Did you reduce the sliding 26 grm weight in the G425 max/305x combo?If so could you please tell me what weight you used? The Ping G425 max head is heavy and without reducing the swing weight , optimal results are unlikely..
I wish I had the money to come get fitted for a full set by you I'm driving the ball 370 with a cleveland High bore xl would love to see if I could be more consistent with your guidance
I enjoyed watching someone with my swing speed and characteristics, my only question; with all of the possible shafts you have at your disposal, why jump to Auto flex>>> second out of the box? Luv the vids and content, look forward to them all.
Really interesting. I thought you guys had stated the autoflex was not well suited to the heavier heads like Ping... So far from this it's looking pretty good with Ronnie's swing!
The advise from Autoflex is to use a lighter head weight, like you say we’ve experimented with and without the head weight and got good results either way.
@@clubchampionmedia A lot of people have had poor results with the heavier G425 heads. They are about 206g and most people are getting significantly better results with the head in the 186-194g range. Also, wouldn't the AF405(85-100mph) be more suited to Ronnie's swing speed of around 90mph? Would like to see Ronnie hit the AF405 with the G425 Max(replace the 26g weight with a 10-12g weight for a head weight of 190-192g). Love the channel. Be well Matt.
I'd like you guys to do a UTILITY THROW DOWN...like you did with drivers and 3-wesels...id like to see tour edge exotics ti-utility, srixon, cally, Taylormade...etc...I mean if you got nothing else going on...lol...jk. Ian, given Ronnie's current set-up moved the ball left-to-right (today) and the Autoflex moved the SFT ball flight from straight-ish to nearly always left, why wouldn't you try the Autflex in the G410 head?
Definitely check out the Cobra Snakebite wedges on a WET Wedge test. After MGS gave them a mediocre review, I hit 3 of my best spinning wedge shots ever at 8pm under the lights on a moist course.
I would pay $700-$800 for the autoflex if I knew I would gain 5+ ball speed and hit it straight. Now I just need to find somewhere to demo it in my G425 max

Okay.... this example of fitting is so positively conclusive I dont want to buy another club without the fitting process.
