@@cookie-qj8fz no you idiot. Humans start wars. No where in the bible suggests he would enjoy seeing kids starve, but as for the god of the bible he probably would enjoy seeing that, he is a very evil character.
I think it's cool how it seemed like this is the end of this character but then we revisit him much later and he returns in a very believable manner and plays a key role. When I saw this guy towards the end of the series I was a little confused, I thought maybe I's remembered things in the wrong order, but looking back now it all makes perfect sense.
Yes, Malcolm assassinates the Street Preacher (Jacob Williams) in Lux and that casts blame on Lucifer. Thing is, the first time we saw the Street Preacher his shirt was buttoned not cuffed. He must have made some good coin to spring for the monogram, "W" cufflinks and shirt.
One of my favorite scenes in the show in season 2 is when Uriel is about to kill the detective and has to choose between sending his mom back to hell or let the detective die. It's my favorite because he starts getting angry at the fact that people are always interpreting what God wants because he won't just bloody tell them. It's a great scene
When you're blamed or getting shit thrown at you for things you didn't commit (or in his case punish), it's quite a deal. The Spanish Inquisition, Salem Witch Trials, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh... yeah, hella streak.

if they share the same universe with john constantine and met. upon seeing each other they both said bloddy hell. then john starts to say the spell word but luce said oohh shut the f.... up lets have a drink in my bar.
i think lucifer and constantine do share the same universe bc i think at some point constantine is standing among the people in the lux in the comics but im not sure
Also, when he delivers his 'isn't finished with you yet' reminds me so much of Thranduil delivering 'See how far they get' after Ironfoot's brilliant taunt. Brilliant both.
Tom Ellis killed this so hard. "THE DEVIL-" "Isn't finished with you yet." You get that chill, that you just insulted a millennia old entity that has been playing nice this whole time but could snap at any moment. You can tell how much fun he had with this role, every second he's on screen he sweats pure charisma.
Not even millenia, he's literally created when God said "Let there be light." When you think about how he witnessed the universe's evolution for billions of years, you get full body chills.
“You know what i hate more than anything is a liar, a charlatan, someone who don’t believe in what they say...” this hit me differently after watching season 5..... guess he really did hate his brother huh...
Fun fact:When the scammer,I mean preacher makes a comment that the evil we do is because of the devil (which lucifer shuts down).Apparently that is partly the reason he leaves hell in the comics. This is a quote from comic Lucifer “Why do they blame me for all their little failings? They use my name as if I spend my entire day sitting on their shoulders, forcing them to commit acts they would otherwise find repulsive. 'The devil made me do it.' I have never made one of them do anything. Never. They live their own tiny lives. I do not live their lives for them.".He is just tired of being blamed for every shitty thing a person does.
If you look at the lowest circles of hell according to Dante, it's all about fraud and betrayal. Or, lying, more or less. So if Lucifer built hell and condemned liars to the lowest level, he really does hate them the most.
This scene ALWAYS (well, among a lot of others) cracking me up 😂😂😂😂😂 And also a songs is coming to my mind :"Then I saw (In this case) His face, now I'm a believer...."
0:52 that's absolutely true. It even says in the Bible humans have a nature of sin. So don't blame the devil for all the bad shit you do because most of it was upon your own free will. God and Satan can't fuck with free will. They can only influence your choices like any other man trying to convince you otherwise.
I love how he can say he’s the devil and of course no one takes him seriously because the world is full of crazies...he embraces the right to tell people.
I love how they made it in this series that the devil never lies. He always says it's true that he is the devil, but of course, people are too blind to actually see it. Many believers will believe in god and the devil, they'll try to live a good life, but they would never believe it if they met either one of them on a bus.
So far as I'm aware, the devil never actually lies in the Bible. But God does, right in Genesis 3, and the serpent calls it out. The serpent is the only one in the story who told the truth.
Will Smith: "At your highest moment, be careful! That's when the devil comes to you!" Lucifer Morningstar: "Don't give me credit for all of that! You humans do plenty all on your own!"
"Why, make you a believer of course."
Epic line, epic delivery.

Better character, debatable.
@@dollarbill2208 FOX Lucifer had the balls of naming spiderman, I'd say hes more powerful
The comics were far better than the show.
A man killed another man.
i asked him why he did it .
he sayed: the devil made me do it.
so i smaced him in the face.
he shouted WHY??!
i sayed: the devil made me do it.
Oh my god, that's the good fucking food!
You sayed
Did you really ‘sayed’ that.
@@r3vah yeah he sayed it
Said
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
Lol
Well, when you look at it, this version of Lucifer actually feels pretty close to what the Devil should be: seductive, charming, able to bring out the worst in people, engaging in such immoral behaviors as drinking and sexual deviancy.
NovaClimaxX True. That is so true.
@Maria Seferi God was never on your side.
@@NcxX-c8f Because killing in the name of 'G.O.D.' is so righteous?
he walked right over the " the devil walks among us" signboard 😂😂😂
If Luficer does actually exist I hope he's like this 😂
Its how I choose to see it.
he has everyone on skid row by the neck. he also starts world wars and is happy with starving kids in africa.
@@cookie-qj8fz no you idiot. Humans start wars. No where in the bible suggests he would enjoy seeing kids starve, but as for the god of the bible he probably would enjoy seeing that, he is a very evil character.
@@psychonaut175 God makes puppies and babies. The devil kills puppies and babies.
@@cookie-qj8fz you obviously haven't read the bible yet. The devil is a righteous saint compared to the god of the bible.
Preacher: Yes! He is in all of us!!
Lucifer: Well yes but no
Yes and no and yes and no and yes and no
Not yet, but the night is still young.
Lucifer: "Nonono, don't give me credit for all that. You humans do plenty on your own"
Facts (Although I wonder if that counts as humility or not)
Only now do i get why he smirks at “hes in all of us” 😂 lucifer that sexy bastard
I never thought of the Devil speaking English accent until I saw this part, and the journey automatically began. Ahhhh such golden times.
When he said "I'll make you a believer, I ... Imagined dragons
👨🏻"THE DEVIL"
"Isn’t finished with you yet😈👿"😂
This scene is hilarious. Lucifer is so hilarious. I miss this show
"You were actually telling the truth?"
"I do that quite a lot, yet people are always suprised."
I will never get over how Lucifer loves the name “Old Scratch”! Hahaha! Too hilarious!
Why? I've heard that name also used to refer to Death. (I've never watched the show)
i like how hes all open about it...all nonchalant and what not...like yup im the dark lord..hello everyone
Best disguise. Who would believe someone telling them their the devil?
@Maria Seferi Hello, detective!
At this rate I kind of want to see him, Lucifer, seem to be a cool and a funny guy as long as you remain honest and well behaved. 😅😅😅
Lucifer’s actor is just so good and handsome. Absolutely perfect casting!
He takes it so personal when someone involves him as the devil in a conversation. I. LOVE. IT😍😂😍😂😂😂😂😂
When you're blamed or getting shit thrown at you for things you didn't commit (or in his case punish), it's quite a deal. The Spanish Inquisition, Salem Witch Trials, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh... yeah, hella streak.
@@rararasputin8608 didn't mean to insult history there, everyone knows that getting blamed for something you didn't do isn't funny. Was just talking about a show here
@@KikiCo-ky4kq Yeah, I know. Just, it's kind of funny.
@@rararasputin8608 😅
@@KikiCo-ky4kq All the things the Devil is blamed for, but Pokémon? Kinda funny the Pope himself had to step in to say that Pokémon was not the devil's doing.
Lucifer: "Thanks everyone. I'll be here until...well the end of time, actually."
One of the great things about this show is that despite his reputation, Lucifer never lies; it's not his fault that no one really seems to take him seriously- until they see his devil face, that is.
Badass scene
i tought ur just a nightmare
😱: “HES THE DEVIL!!”
😁: “It’s true, it is true!”
Sam and Dean spent so much time looking for Lucifer when all they needed to do was go to a piano bar in L.A.
if they share the same universe with john constantine and met. upon seeing each other they both said bloddy hell. then john starts to say the spell word but luce said oohh shut the f.... up lets have a drink in my bar.
I have no idea what you just said, but okay.
That would be the BEST crossover EVER
i think lucifer and constantine do share the same universe bc i think at some point constantine is standing among the people in the lux in the comics but im not sure
Then that would mean that Lucifer is in the Arrowverse! And I would love that!
Pepe Lucifer is from DC (the Lucifer from this show) to learn about his origin and more go read the DC/Vertigo comics
My pregnant belly was jumping entirely too much after all the laughter. I freakin died 😭😭 aahhh! He’s the devil!!!
Of course he has a British accent lol
Cooli167 - Well, Tom Ellis is British. Welsh, to be exact - like me.
Well he says "I love this accent better". He also speaks all the languages.
Of course! Everyone loves our accent
@@michaelrussell3890 yes, we all love every british accent... But, that guy is a breathing voice fettish.
I knew it! British accent.. Bloody hell
Also, when he delivers his 'isn't finished with you yet' reminds me so much of Thranduil delivering 'See how far they get' after Ironfoot's brilliant taunt. Brilliant both.
Best casting ever for a character , so iconic!
Tom Ellis killed this so hard. "THE DEVIL-" "Isn't finished with you yet."
You get that chill, that you just insulted a millennia old entity that has been playing nice this whole time but could snap at any moment. You can tell how much fun he had with this role, every second he's on screen he sweats pure charisma.
Not even millenia, he's literally created when God said "Let there be light." When you think about how he witnessed the universe's evolution for billions of years, you get full body chills.
Yeshua rebukes that garbage!!!
“You know what i hate more than anything is a liar, a charlatan, someone who don’t believe in what they say...” this hit me differently after watching season 5..... guess he really did hate his brother huh...
Brilliantly written and filmed scene, especially at the end when lucifer walks over the "the devil walks among us" sign.
Ha haa! Brilliant - I love Lucifer, best thing i've watched in years, very funny.🤣
They couldn't have found a better Lucifer .Tom Ellis is too PERFECT
When a tv series is better than the entire MCU 🔥
Ironic how the street preacher is more hateful than the devil 😂😂😂
this show is based of the DC comics but did i hear him say spiderman? 1:12
faidaimaidai Well, Marvel Comics might exist in the DC universe but strictly as comics xD
because theres like 50 spidermans in Hollywood walk of fame, all trying to get money
It happens in the CW tv series too. Flash says his Spider sense is tingling and Felicity Smoak says that Killer Frost is like the Incredible Hulk.
And Aunt May references Superman in the first Spiderman movie
faidaimaidai
Me="wait, that's illegal"
Sorry I had to make that joke 😂😂😂😂
The dude playing the character of preacher does an awesome job with it🤣🤣
Fun fact:When the scammer,I mean preacher makes a comment that the evil we do is because of the devil (which lucifer shuts down).Apparently that is partly the reason he leaves hell in the comics.
A similar line with a Constantine's (the movie) Lucifer, "I do miss the old names", not sure if intentional or accidental
And the fact that no one takes him seriously is GOLD
Padre: have u seen the face of the devil
Lucifer: every morning pal
Me; dang Lucifer
The devil!!!
...isnt finished with you -_-
One of the best lines I've ever heard
0:52
Lucifer's right. He's not behind human nature. Sure he might behind the creation of some "pastimes" humans enjoy, but he doesn't compel them to.
Supposedly god made the fruit and the world, but the devil tempted eve into taking the fruit for mankind?
If you look at the lowest circles of hell according to Dante, it's all about fraud and betrayal. Or, lying, more or less. So if Lucifer built hell and condemned liars to the lowest level, he really does hate them the most.
*Performer about to shit his pants* “HE IS THE DEVIL!”
Everyone else is like: oh cool he is devil, let’s crowd around and take photos
Preacher: “He’s the devil!!! He’s the devil!!!”
Lucifer: “it’s true, it’s true” 🤣😂🤣😂
One if the best series to come along in a long time....
This scene ALWAYS (well, among a lot of others) cracking me up 😂😂😂😂😂 And also a songs is coming to my mind :"Then I saw (In this case) His face, now I'm a believer...."
I love how he says it’s true lmfao
The term "VS" implies that there was a fight, as if the street preacher had a chance in Hell.
0:52 that's absolutely true. It even says in the Bible humans have a nature of sin. So don't blame the devil for all the bad shit you do because most of it was upon your own free will.
God and Satan can't fuck with free will. They can only influence your choices like any other man trying to convince you otherwise.
Preacher: REPENT! THE DEVIL....
Lucifer: Isn't finished with you yet
That's a great line lol
It's true, it is true. LMAO funny as hell
Any body got an idea how to listen to this song? It's called the devils got a hold, by the kicks.

I like the guy in the background laughing when Luci says "isn't finished with you yet".
i think my favorite little snip from this is lucifer mildly acknowledging the preacher's performance at 0:40
Did he say "old scratch"? huh?
Based on the perceived punctuation, I'd say yes...
dollarbill2208 is there something wrong with my punctuation?
did I say punctuation? Sorry, I meant pronunciation, you know, what Lucifer said. How embarrassing... I just woke up when I wrote that.

"Old Scratch" is one of the older traditional names attributed to the devil.

Lucifer Morningstar Hello Mr. Morningstar.
Hello Wiccan Priestess .
This character is pure gold 😍
Love the show, watched all episodes twice in a year.
Literally remember watching the first episode and then all of a sudden 5 seasons disappeared just like that.
@@Darkepyon01 What is the lie?
