I do like his new devil face, but the older one, when he would only briefly flash it at people, it seemed more he was trying to break their minds rather than show them who he really was.

Well speaking of Fox, I actually enjoyed the show more than I do now. I'm not saying that it's bad now, just not as good as it was before.
@@Fang_ke_yang saaame season 1 was a hit tbh it was so thrilling and well written and the story was fascinating comparing to season 2 and 3 (i havent completed S4, 5, 6 yet) but overall the show is amazing in ways i cant put to words.
I liked how from season 1 it was low budget scare face to a better cgi face
At the beginning it wasn't the most famous show and they didn't earn enough money for that, but it then blew up and they got better CGI. Amazing to see how it all changed from a small show to a big show earning millions.

4:45 Tom Ellis's acting right after Lucifer shows his devil face to Dr Linda is *SO* freakin good.
He looks relieved, a bit ashamed, worried about whether she's going to accept him, "please love me" puppy face, he says "Doctor?" as if he says "Mommy?", awkward moment, perplexed trying to figure out what she thinks, then he realizes her shock and goes straight to a different kind of shame: regret, hurt, disappointment and loneliness.
ALL these in a few seconds and with JUST his eyes. (and his mere attempt to say something but no words coming out of his mouth as Lucifer just waits Linda's feedback).
Richest, best portrayal of vulnerability I've ever seen.
I mean he's a great actor anyway but this scene is incredible. Makes you relate and wanna hug him and tell him everything's gonna be ok.

There's something just deeply satisfying about number 3. The tone and pacing of the scene is so perfect. All the humans know something is wrong, but not what. Even the girl with the gun hesitates, knowing something's not right. But then the shock when its just, so much worse than expected.

If you haven’t seen the show the meaning behind why he looks that way is very deep. I can’t believe it took me so long to fall in love with this series.
@LNT Its a reflection of his own insecurities and the fact he sees himself as a monster and because angels self actualise those feelings change him physically
@@vvvpatovvv or maybe it's a reflection of the insecurities or the hatred of the people he wants to punish 🤔 Why would he express his own insecurities the time he's powerful over someone else?
It's also a sort of parallel with jesus, he died for people's sins, devil reflects them.
(I'm not religious at all and not find of monotheistic dichotomy between good and evil, but love the philosophy and storytelling)

man the writing and how he delivers his lines were amazing in the first seasons :/
An interesting thought had occurred to me. What does one see when they look upon the face of the devil? Maybe it is a mirror of all of their evils which may explain why Chloe and Linda weren't so adversely freaked out when compared to their more criminal counterparts. Kinda reminds me of Ghost Rider's penance stare. We all have sins, in one form or another. those who at least attempt a clean life would be least affected.

He obviously uses different looks for different effects. That's not his real face.. it's like his uniform. Supposedly when Samiel was in heaven before the revolt his angel face was the one we know. Then after he was in Hell he uses his magic to create the different demon faces he employs

You got it right. I cut out the clips while I was watching the show, then I used adobe premiere pro to edit.

When I did my rewatch of the show bc I knew the truth that angles controls what happened to them I think the small differences between his devil faces is showed he was becoming a tiny bit more like the humans depicted him as but without the horns but at times more like his old self

Oui mais en au début quand il se rencontre pour un meurtres qui vient d'être commis début il ne se connaissent pas la lieutenant l'interroge pour car la victime qui vient de mourir dans le premier épisode et la femme de lucifer mais quand la Chloé donc la lieutenant l'interroge il dit son nom prénom donc Lucifer Morningstar mais elle le sait pas elle pense qui c'est juste inventé un personnage elle croit qui se prend pour le diable donc quand il font coéquipiers elle l'appel toujours lucifer parce que elle pense qui se prend pour le diable et qui préfère qu'on l'appelle comme ça mais elle sait pas que c'est vraiment le diable il faut regarder la série pour comprendre je te les d'écrit un peu court pour que tu comprennes
