Thank you so much 💖💖💖 im 21 almost 22 and i lost jobs for being short on my drawer because i was subtracting in my head praying u got it right and trying to move people out of the store with no training... this helps so much 😭💖
I work at job where the don’t reach the cash back and it was my first day too so I was lil embarrassed, my trainer was great but she was very fast paste!!!! This gave me very much confidence!!! Thank you so much
Oh, I know! My high school students always ask me to teach them this because the places they want to go to work have them do it as a part of their interview. I guess in case the machines break 🤷🏼♀️It really is easier if you do it with the coins and bills yourself
I was never taught this in school & I'm bad working w/numbers, but I'm starting to understand this 🙂! understand this & I'm terrible w/math & numbers, but I'm having issues when I apply this method while working. It's like I freeze up! I’m having trouble understanding a transaction. A customer total was $6.11 and paid $7.00, I’m having difficulty understanding how it would be only a dime and a penny?
Wow this is great i mean i have been bad in counting money to so i m gonna study to do this every day and everyday in school im an freshman year in high school my teacher is gonna help me how to count change to give back the customer.
Don't give up! I'm going to make some more example videos and here's the playlist that has a few others. ua-cam.com/play/PLZocgsi1E8it3SvpxItOrl01DxgC-t8WS.html
Look at it this way. You are NOT figuring out how much change to give, THEN giving it back. You are just starting at the amount OWED by the customer and counting FROM there to the amount the customer gave you. I have no idea how much change I put into their hand, I just know it is the difference between what the owed me and what they gave me. If they owe me $12.50 and give me $15. Start at $12.50. Give 50 cents ($12.50 + 50 cents = $13.) Give $1 (= $14). Give $1 (= $15) There is no mental subtraction whatsoever. It's hard because you just have to trust the math.

I'm starting a job that uses only bills and quarters, I know it makes it easier, but I'd like to see a tutorial.
