Directed by Anthony Waller "An American man unwittingly gets involved with werewolves who have developed a serum allowing them to transform at will." (by imdb.com)
I was 10 Years old when my mother took me to see this at the theater. I seen it the night it released, and it's one of my favorite memories. I will always cherish this movie and it was my childhood aswell. I'm about to rewatch this also
I remember the scene where he’s in the hospital bed would scare the shit out of me when I was like 5 or 6 years old. It’s one of those movies you barley remember from the late 90s
my first real werewolf movie (wolf with nicholson doesn't count, right ? ), made quite an impression on me as a child.never noticed how bad the cgi was, to me it was real
Granted this isn't a great movie, but it still has its appeal. And the John Landis original An American Werewolf in London was totally a comedy as well. Also, even though the years "96-08" were a crappy time for horror movies, there were still a lot of great films then too. Ever see High Tension? Wolf Creek? The works of Eli Roth, Alexandre Aja, Rob Zombie, the later years of Wes Craven? Besides, soon we might look back on this film with nostalgia.
robertfrost38 This film has nothing to do with the original the parent company that made American werewolf in London wanted a sequel but they prefer this scripture over Landry‘s which was a piece of shit
american werewolf in london is one of my all time favs...but it is NOT a comedy. it had comic reliefs but not a comedy. Landis himself said he HATES when people call it a comedy. he said he wrote the script as a boy outside in the rain in the military...it begins with 2 kids back packing with there whole lives together and it ends with both of them dead...its not a comedy
An American Werewolf In australia would be a great title for the next sequel in my opinion, But It's too bad that I don't think another american werewolf sequel probably won't never happen though so oh well 🤷

I'll shoulder the responsibility of reviewing it for our fallen comrade... I'm watching it on Amazon now, anyway. Rest easy, folks. I will return hastily.
not very good. cheesy and dated. uses tropes from horror movies of the late nineties, but even more so raunch/teen, comedies of the time. plays more like a comedy with horror themes. its alright. entertaining enough as a curiosity. almost so bad its good, given the terrible cgi and how hard they try to make some of the desperate humor work. but its almost too mediocre overall to be a cult hit. too competent for so bad its good. check it out if your interested in forgotten films.
I can't believe people think this is actually a good movie when everything in this film is ridiculous and stupid. It shouldn't even be affiliated with such a cinematic masterpiece. The only way you'd know that you're watchinng a "sequel" to An American Werewolf in London is if look at the DVD box lol. This film barely even references the original at all and is basically just a parody of an all time classic to cash in on it's success.
shes actually the daughter of david in the original. her ded mom is nurse price from the original... i just never knew because they cut the scene where claud tells Andy the story
Hardly. The only connection it has is that one of the main characters is, I think, the daughter of Alex from the first movie. I also may be remembering things wrong, but I'm pretty sure there's this cult that takes David's rampage in Piccadilly Circus as some sort of signal for a kind of werewolf uprising. That's about it though.
Alex Howard Alex there is no connection from American werewolf to Paris where you hear that trash the director John Landry actually said there is no connection
I remember this coming out. I jus saw London like a year or so prior so i was excited. I think i liked it as a kid but i dont think it held up. Not like London has. Esp when u compare tge cgi Wolf to the real effects Wolf. Also this movie brought up a few plot holes that dont add up with London 😐
Brian Pomphrey That’s because they’re not related this film was not made by John The original writer and director his view was replaced with this shit!
Kermit Donatello Paris is the sequel. I know no one involved with London was but this is sequel. The main girl is David and Alex's daughter. Alex though played by someone else i think, shows up as a rotting ghost even.

Jason Case Oh shit, what a terrible person I am. Telling someone not to go see a movie. I mean it's not like he'll just go see it anyway. Then that would mean that my unsurpassed authority over everyone else would be invalid.
the films actually good. the trailer makes it look terrible ide watch it i think youd like it its kind of quirky- gothic yet still a thriller, old school + WereWolve*.
Julie Depy's topless scene was the only good thing about this abortion of a "sequel." That dumb ass cafe scene was beyond embarrassing. And the Statue of Liberty bungee jump ending is probably the most cringe-tastic thing committed to film. CGI was laughably shit as well.
yeah it almost looked real, yet it captures your imagination and morphs into this strangely real scene.its not just kind of computer generated souless imagery like alot of films use,it has a real energy to it. like quite alot of films.
This looks shitty. Although the first one was shitty too but it was pretty funny. I re-watched it last night and can't stop laughing at the way it ends. I won't spoil it for you but you gotta see the ending.
