So if I just want a shower does it go
Hose from Water tank to water pump inlet.
Hose from Water pump outlet to blue cold side of water heater
Hose from red hot side of water heater to shower head
I wish I would've got the 2.7 gallon , I got the 4 gallon but I only need about 2.7 gallon , i'm thinking it would take up less time to heat up 2.7.
    Thumbs up

LOL so satisfying to watch you revel in having warm water at the sinks. I'm an electrical engineer and a little concerned about the power connection but you seem to understand what is needed for a permanent install so I have faith in you.

I've seen your video a few times.. THANKS! Water heater was dying and the cold showers sucked! and I didn't want to spend $500 on a new propane/elect unit in my rv so I Bought the Bosch 4gal. got some more pex line and fittings.. still got to find the right fittings to fit the hot/cold outlets today. I PLAN on a quick install in the kitchen for easy to get to water lines and electric outlet close by, and the shower is a whole 10ft away... crossing my fingers!

I cut a hole in the bottom of the wood floor on my project camper and put 2x4's sideways and screwed em in from up top and cut a board for the bottom and screwed it in the 2x4'. Had an extra 3 and half inches of clearance. Spray painted the bottom black and reinsulated the bottom.

Great video! IMHO The only video, out of hundreds I've seen, providing a glimpse of reality. Looking forward to more of you showing up on my feed. 💝
P.S. Sad, so much greed and ignorance in videos out there plainly support a lack display for safeguards without using switch, tank relief, and T&P valve discharge pipe at installation, each claim to lasting integrity and reliability in their water heat and delivery systems. So many deadly enough to know careful, but so few careless enough to know dead.

Hey all right thanks for the post. I had an issue with mine tripping breaker so I checked it out per the bulletin your suppose to inspect the anode once a year if this is worn out then it will cause tank to leak I was told by product support from Bosch. Only thing I don’t like is that I’ve went to every big box store and all my local plumbing stores to find parts it’s order online only. So if your out of hot water or have an issue make sure you have back up parts. Other then these issues it seems to work great

The brass valve on it is a temperature & pressure relief valve, the outlet needs to be routed outside somewhere, IF the unit overheats the valve will open and dump 95+ deg C water out of it, really don't want it doing that inside

In my RV, the previous had just put in a point of use water under the sink, they guy said it was great for dishes but not really a lot for a shower. Ended up re-routing both the feed lines and the hot water lines to the sink and shower to connect to a tankless LP water heater ( same one you have in your shower ). However, it leaked since day one and then sprung another leak in a completely different area a short while later. I think the outdoor models might not be rated for constant pressure. Anyway, I ended up getting a more expensive model that was designed for indoor use and came with a vent pipe. Hoping this one goes better.

Hope you can help. Watched your video. I have same water heater. Connected to a 110v outlet, which is wired to my 3000 watt Renogy inverter, with 300ah lithium batteries. BUT once I turn it on, it trips my entire electrical system. So my question, what size fuse do I need? Or how exactly should I wire it to work properly. I’m assuming my inverter and batteries should be plenty to handle?

question with something like this or the Bosch water heater 7 gallon. Since that is so much water...can you just skip a water reserve tank and use this heater directly as the reserve? I think it would get rid of one more component of a water system. can it be dual used as storage and heater? Better question.....does any company make a reserve, pump, heater all in one?

You are wrong on the tankles heater, We do use them a lot on boats or campers tiny homes and rv,s to here in Holland, for the whole hot water system, You connect the cold inlet permanent, and put the fawcet valve on the hot side, it wil switch off imediatly if you close the fawcet.. (its made for that) (flow switch) Y do strongly advise to put a outlet on it for the gasses from the flame! the way you use it now is dangerois for you, cause off he toxic fumes!! (you can plug it on the water lines. cold on the existing cold line, and the hot outlet to the hot lines in the rv... ) (you can even use it to hotfill the tank heater, preserving power... ) But again, make a stack on the tankles to the outside. Dont poison yourself whit carbon monoxide! Take care.

Nice, really enjoy the DIY spirit on your channel. I have one of the camp style LP heaters inside my large cargo conversion and it works OK but you do have to play with the temp often to get it just right. I just installed an Rheem outdoor mounted whole house tankless LP water heater on my house at 9GPM and it works great... very stable temp but limited to 120F... cost on the Rheem is about $600-700. Very interested to hear how your electric spot water heater works out on power consumption.
