So if I just want a shower does it go
Hose from Water tank to water pump inlet.
Hose from Water pump outlet to blue cold side of water heater
Hose from red hot side of water heater to shower head
I wish I would've got the 2.7 gallon , I got the 4 gallon but I only need about 2.7 gallon , i'm thinking it would take up less time to heat up 2.7.
Thumbs up
This helped me tremendously with the same addition I added.
Glad to hear it! :)
Thank you for this , you helped me solve my heater issue , i cant wait to have hot water either ... my reaction will be the same as yours.
Plastic grocery bags as teflon pipe thread in a pinch works great, pull a strand and wrap it.
Holy Cow!!!! Seriously... that is ingenious.
Looks like a nice little unit. Yeah it's good to wash in warm water specially greasy pan. Good job!
LOL so satisfying to watch you revel in having warm water at the sinks. I'm an electrical engineer and a little concerned about the power connection but you seem to understand what is needed for a permanent install so I have faith in you.
Could you hard wire that to a 110v on off switch?
@@bjbhehir Can you ? I am wondering the same question
I've seen your video a few times.. THANKS! Water heater was dying and the cold showers sucked! and I didn't want to spend $500 on a new propane/elect unit in my rv so I Bought the Bosch 4gal. got some more pex line and fittings.. still got to find the right fittings to fit the hot/cold outlets today. I PLAN on a quick install in the kitchen for easy to get to water lines and electric outlet close by, and the shower is a whole 10ft away... crossing my fingers!
So it was a good purchase
I had on of those in my cook trailer. My only issue was winterizing it.
This makes me happy your greatfulness for hot water praise God!
Glad I stumbled across this video. Thanks for the walk through my man.
I’m installed this water heater 7 gallons in my Motorhome super nice
The kitchen sink is super clean! +1
"at a later time I will do a better job".... is what I always say to myself too lolol
Bravo bravo bravo job well done once again Nate thank you
Seems a lot of people don't consider a $25 insta hot pot for hot dishwater. It's ready in under 60 seconds. No installation needed.
I used the same exact one and had an issue with the fitting and wondered if it was just me. Nice vid.
I cut a hole in the bottom of the wood floor on my project camper and put 2x4's sideways and screwed em in from up top and cut a board for the bottom and screwed it in the 2x4'. Had an extra 3 and half inches of clearance. Spray painted the bottom black and reinsulated the bottom.
pretty cool! good for you, enjoy, great video, i will now buy one...ty
Good job man! Like how you show it all, your doing what you want to get done now and then later you can move it to the spot that works better for you. I am a big fan of breaking projects in to smaller pieces get done something every day and makes you feel better.
Gracias por compartir el video, me servirá para rv , saludos desde north charleston
Great video! IMHO The only video, out of hundreds I've seen, providing a glimpse of reality. Looking forward to more of you showing up on my feed. 💝
P.S. Sad, so much greed and ignorance in videos out there plainly support a lack display for safeguards without using switch, tank relief, and T&P valve discharge pipe at installation, each claim to lasting integrity and reliability in their water heat and delivery systems. So many deadly enough to know careful, but so few careless enough to know dead.
Hey all right thanks for the post. I had an issue with mine tripping breaker so I checked it out per the bulletin your suppose to inspect the anode once a year if this is worn out then it will cause tank to leak I was told by product support from Bosch. Only thing I don’t like is that I’ve went to every big box store and all my local plumbing stores to find parts it’s order online only. So if your out of hot water or have an issue make sure you have back up parts. Other then these issues it seems to work great
It's the simple things that gives the greatest pleasure..,,👍
i got 85 suncrest i enjoy watching these im prolly going to be living in it thanks
Congrats that’s Awesome😎 Your videos are Amazing😉
Happiness in life is always the simplest of luxuries realized as abundance.
I know the feeling amen lol.
Nice job!
You mate are a legend. Keep at it brother
The brass valve on it is a temperature & pressure relief valve, the outlet needs to be routed outside somewhere, IF the unit overheats the valve will open and dump 95+ deg C water out of it, really don't want it doing that inside
May You Never Run Out Of Hot Water , brother. great job. later dant palm springs calif USA
In my RV, the previous had just put in a point of use water under the sink, they guy said it was great for dishes but not really a lot for a shower. Ended up re-routing both the feed lines and the hot water lines to the sink and shower to connect to a tankless LP water heater ( same one you have in your shower ). However, it leaked since day one and then sprung another leak in a completely different area a short while later. I think the outdoor models might not be rated for constant pressure. Anyway, I ended up getting a more expensive model that was designed for indoor use and came with a vent pipe. Hoping this one goes better.
I know it uses more energy but if you turn the temp all the way up and mix with cold you’ll get more use out of it.
ive learned alot from you, thank you, happy holidays
Yeah. I don't have hot water ANYWHERE in my trailer. I'm jealous!
I might hafta look in one of these.
Congratulations on your hot water strike!
Great Video.. You should pickup an Appliance Extension Cord.. Stay safe..
Hope you can help. Watched your video. I have same water heater. Connected to a 110v outlet, which is wired to my 3000 watt Renogy inverter, with 300ah lithium batteries. BUT once I turn it on, it trips my entire electrical system. So my question, what size fuse do I need? Or how exactly should I wire it to work properly. I’m assuming my inverter and batteries should be plenty to handle?
As usual, great stuff!
Excellent job!
question with something like this or the Bosch water heater 7 gallon. Since that is so much water...can you just skip a water reserve tank and use this heater directly as the reserve? I think it would get rid of one more component of a water system. can it be dual used as storage and heater? Better question.....does any company make a reserve, pump, heater all in one?
Excited about this one
You are wrong on the tankles heater, We do use them a lot on boats or campers tiny homes and rv,s to here in Holland, for the whole hot water system, You connect the cold inlet permanent, and put the fawcet valve on the hot side, it wil switch off imediatly if you close the fawcet.. (its made for that) (flow switch) Y do strongly advise to put a outlet on it for the gasses from the flame! the way you use it now is dangerois for you, cause off he toxic fumes!! (you can plug it on the water lines. cold on the existing cold line, and the hot outlet to the hot lines in the rv... ) (you can even use it to hotfill the tank heater, preserving power... ) But again, make a stack on the tankles to the outside. Dont poison yourself whit carbon monoxide! Take care.
I guess it will heat with the Jenny while boondocking. 👍
Have you used the hot water taps at all over the past few years? If not you may wanna check to make sure there are no leaks. Seems like my bathroom sink needs to be tightened every 10k miles or so.
great an liked it/thanks much
You should believe the air out through the faucet before turning it on because you could dry fire the element and blow it out
Great video... Thank you for sharing this video.
Do you have a video of you installing the Tank less water heater?
ua-cam.com/video/Aad9tTz-n_E/v-deo.html
I bet it will be warmer in the room too.i may have to check into that.
Thanks bro.
Warmth........aahhh😂
Nice, really enjoy the DIY spirit on your channel. I have one of the camp style LP heaters inside my large cargo conversion and it works OK but you do have to play with the temp often to get it just right. I just installed an Rheem outdoor mounted whole house tankless LP water heater on my house at 9GPM and it works great... very stable temp but limited to 120F... cost on the Rheem is about $600-700. Very interested to hear how your electric spot water heater works out on power consumption.
Could you please tell me the model of the water heater you installed in your shower? I’m searching for a suitable option for my RV. Thanks!
What’s the old, big tv for? Can you remove it to free up space?
I have my OD Heater hooked to kitchen sink only but I camper really dont move much and I dont live in it more than a few days at a time...
Works heats fast, hope it last, made in Germany!
I have a camper and my hot water don't worker I wanted to c if this works good
happy for yo it seems work good
wow you relley are a fast dish washer
Is that a hot water heater and pump all in one unit?
Is it ok for this to be stalled on the side?
Will there enough hot water to take a shower?
Thanks for the vid! .. my 14yr old rv's unit is about to call it quits.
I ordered the Bosch 4gal. I'll be putting mine under the bathroom sink.. so I'll be able to tap into the lines there.
a few sharkbites and a little pex and I should be good.
Here's my question.. when not in use should I turn it off and only turn it on when im going to need it? or just leave it on 24/7?
@troy tucker
Hey my original water heater is on it’s last leg also
Is there any advice you can give me now?
At this rate I'd expect a diesel powered water heater
How's this working out? I just installed one in my travel trailer, but the pressure relief valve is engaging because of pressure buildup in a closed system. The manual recommends a .5 gal expansion tank in closed systems but I'm having trouble finding one that size. Thanks!
Its working great!
@@ClassALiving Did you run the pressure relief valve out the van with a hose? I was considering using some kind of bucket instead of drilling more holes in the van
I have seen where they T into the drain pipe off the pressure release valve. No extra holes in the rv.
How did it hold up after the years, did you have to change the anode? Thanks
nope not yet
How many wottage or amps did it take to heat up over that 30 minutes do u know? And when u fill the sink with water to do the pots, how much amps/wotts does it consume doing that too? Cheers pal
Have you figured out how to hook up the electric tankless system for the whole rv yet? thinking of this for my camper. Just a pop up.I was hoping for electric though and just looking to hook up the sink. I see you are using a propane one. I can't find a large enough electric tankless heater in my budget yet.
Question, when filling the tank from the pump, will it shut off when full? I have a water heater similar to this but was wondering how it knows when to shut off
You should spend money on putting cheap flooring in and getting rid of that nasty carpet that would be satisfying to watch lol..
It's a good insulator this time of year though... #
I am going to put this heater in my pickup camper. How do you drain the tank for winterizing purposes?
Great question... that's what I'm wondering also. I can't seem to find an answer.
How long will the hot water stay? Or it will run hot water until the tank is empty?
Which tankless water heater do you have? Thanks in advance. Great video!
Hi awesome video, I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the instant water heater you use for your shower
Did it work for a shower?
How would you drain it for winter season so it won't bust ?
i read the manual and it gave a few options, one of them was to actually disconnect it and dump it outside
How much did this cost? the unit...
Running off of an extension cord is a no no. Unless it is made of number 12 or ten wire
What watt is your inverter? and what Amps circuit breaker are you using? I'm using 3000w inverter and 300A circuit breaker with 1440w water heater in my van. When I turned on the water heater, after 30s, the circuit breaker is shutdown and heater is off.
Jin, did you ever solve this? I'm having the same issue, thanks.
How do I put d
I am jealous 🤣😂🤣
At 1440 watts and 30 minutes to heat up...does it drain your battery quickly?
1440w 30min = 720wh.
You would save a lot of water if you could wash them that fast.
you look like jeff from american dad
Купи себе электрочайник, тоже нужная вещь.
Good idea! :)
I don't use my RV and the winner since I'm in Connecticut But I don't have a hot water heater most definitely be looking into electric water heater Anyone's with any suggestion
👍👍👍👍👍👍👋👋👋
It's about to get hot......
Why not show where these lines and what they hook to on the sink. You think we automatically know I guess
Te esperaste 5 años para aventarte este jale😂
you didn't use any plumbers tape that's why it's leaking
do you have a patreon page or PayPal I would like to donate to your show
Too bad ya cant put it right under the sink. Gonna waist 2 gallons of water waiting for the hot water to arrive.
THAT looks like an accident in waiting! Not good for me.
