Interesting video. I thought it was funny when you said let's keep the local dimming on medium, then you accidentally left it at low. Not sure why you wouldn't have set it to high. Hopefully a lot more detail to follow in the full review. Looking forward to it. Please show how the picture changes with the different picture modes in the full review as some of us prefer what looks good to our own eyes versus the directors intent.
I think takes a LoT of processing powern for TV to play at high ! I don’t have issue cuz my Hisense never conenrcted to Console , or Pc game . Then maybe when putting tv (a computer essentially) max at evey function can strangle its performance at 120hz 😮rate . I think . I am not into Pc but seems Hisense has to be carefully tweaked :) I have on high all d time lol 😅 I don’t care :)
My biggest question is where did you throw the TV legs and accessories at 1:38!? That was a either a really good sound edit or you have some well-cushioned spot with perfect soundproofing. On a secondary note, that would be great if you look into 1) how the U8K handles blooming 2) how deep the blacks are compared to the competition, and 3) its SDR upscaling capabilities. And, perhaps most importantly, your opnion about the U8K's value proposition and price to performance ratio. THANK YOU!

Guys, can someone tell me why all hisesnse tvs have a green tint on the screen? I was interested in the u8k but I see that all hisense tvs look green just like the tcl tvs look red. But why?
I have the Hisense u8k but in the HDMI port 3 the PS5 cannot be seen it does not play but the Xbox series model because I follow you on your channel I don't know why the PS5 isn't put on the HDMI 3 port
Josh I would like to know how good the U8K Upscales DVDs Blu-rays older movies and classic TV shows like the I Love Lucy Era.... Thank You I have a large collection this will help my decision in purchasing it
It upscales low bit content better with Gradient Setting on low, MPEG clarity set to Low, and Motion set to smooth or film mode ( film mode has less soap opera effect when used). Regular cable channels and older movies/tv shows look way better with these settings... The U8k has no issues with upscaling 1080p DVDs and looks amazing with 4k Blu-ray discs. Set your HDMI 2.1 inputs to enhanced mode and make sure your using HDMI 2.1 cables as there bandwith is way higher than HDMI 2.0 cables for 4k viewing. To get the absolute best out of the U8K a profession calibration is suggested but not manditory...When calibrated correctly 99% of the time in a dark theater room that I have my U8K 55 inch in, it doesn't bloom. The blacks on this TV compete with OLED quality.

U need to turn ====Black level=== from “0” to “-2”- “-3” to match the dim light u have right now at this video. To reach --utter VERY BLACL. I saw 75” U8K. Last weekend in store. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE> so i took 10 min colabrated in store. That --Black level(previously in U8G, U8H…its called “BRIHTNESS (of black color lol)” . I guess for ppl its too confusing(hows Backlight for brightness, n “Brightness “ for Darkness lmao) . They finally Fixed that control panel confusion lol. 🎉
I didnt want to peel off my protective film - But i was worried that it might end up melting or sticking to the screen... So i peeled it off... And now i feel so sad. I wanted it on :( Just expressing my pain
How stupid. They should have boxed it upside down with the legs at that side, so you can open the box, screw the legs on and then get it where it's going.
I purchased on Amazon last Sunday for $898. Just delivered today and haven't had a chance to check it out. Can't wait!

Hmm.. that is odd. Have you tried factory resetting the TV to see if that changes anything?
The 75 has ips panel which is more natural picture and coloes and motion
