The 350GT in this iteration (V36) is 311bhp. Not 270bhp. It's a fair bit of power for a NA V6. Also, that coupe that you referenced to having a different dash, it's the previous generation (V35), it has the older VQ35 in it that makes 276bhp.
@@jamesk771 I have the new model to that car, in Japan they call it the skyline but everywhere else its the infiniti q50, I have the q50s hybrid, its an amazing car for the money.
@@jamesk771 skylines as a brand never stopped production, the NA iterations are branded as G''s and Q's....skylines are NOT just GTRs...for examples the R35 GTR isn't a skyline.
Never seen one before but I absolutely love this car it's so unique and unusual looks good drives even better its comfortable and fairly luxurious and most of all its FUN a car I could and would totally live with and have to keep for a long time LOVE IT great video
That front nearside wheel camera putting alloy refurb companies out of business 😂 Never knew these skylines existed, but smart looking and awesome sounding 👌🏻 Looking forward to the vids from ur Nurburgring trip!! 💪🏻
The v36 skyline is different from the v35, thoose have 310hp, and the speed limiter is at 112mph, but that can be tuned out, basically all JDM cars have it
Has everything you need, a good family car so a petrol head doesn't have to dip out when he starts a family, like what I did (many years ago!) cheers Calvin.
Skyline's were luxury type cars before they became the Japanese Muscle type GTR. It's like comparing the Mitsubishi Lancer to the Lancer Evolution, one is a daily driver, the other is a beast rally and drift car.
I had a 2005 V35 350GT (Coupe with rare Manual). That engine looks like a VQ35 HR based on age, but you keep moving the camera too quickly to properly inspect it. Skyline and GT-R have always been different brands. I think this is more powerful
Dream car is a r34 but this is still defo a cool car , but what i want to know is how did you get back from burg that fast god mode just like turning the rain off with click of figures vid 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
They also call the Infiniti Q50S Red Sport a skyline, at 400bhp I think it’s a bit more deserving. I did notice though this car has GTR paddles and peddles.
@@ajamesa1982 The Q50S AWD hybrid is the most underrated car out there, it’s over engineered with its steer by wire and hybrid system and if I’m not mistaken the AWD version uses mostly GTR parts for its drivetrain and traction control system. They’re fussy with tyres, outer edges wear and wheel rotation periods are short, also they left the factory with substandard discs and pads, probably the only bad thing to be said for the car but with performance pads and grooved discs and decent asymmetric tyres I struggle to think of anything that comes close in its class. I’ve driven RS4’s, RS3’s, A45’s and CLA45’s hard and they don’t handle or put their power down as well. Of course fuel economy and reliability is a different class altogether.
@@jaysimpson6857 mine isn't the AWD version, it's RWD, so uses less fuel and is slightly quicker 0-60 (in the dry), when it's wet or slightly damp it spins easily with all the torque from the hybrid system, definitely a lot of car for the money compared to what you get for the same money from BMW, Mercedes or Audi.
@@ajamesa1982 I’ve not driven the RWD hybrid but I understand it struggles with the power. I’ve heard it has a tendency to wheel hop even in the dry so you have to master the throttle, unlike the AWD throttle which you just stamp on. I drove a brand new diesel Q50 and it felt nothing like the hybrid, the steering and suspension made it feel just like a Toyota Avensis. RWD, AWD and Diesel all look identical but they couldn’t be more different in the way they drive. I reckon if I drove yours it would feel much lighter than the AWD.

👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🚘
The original concept of the Skyline was a luxury saloon, then the gtr was the performance version…so it’s still a skyline really
FACTS they started as a 4dr the r34 is just a coupe to a sedan
agree 👍🏻
This is the best video ever, thank you for this
Not the biggest Nissan Fan but DAMN that 350 GT!
I considered buying one of these as a daily. Reliable and comfy, and quick enough to be good on overtaking etc
They are reliable that’s for sure. Tellin you as a Skyline owner🤌🏼
I had one as a daily for 7 years, was a fantastic car to have and it offered good value for money.
I'm older than some of you guys, that look with a remapped motor, love it. 👍
Ive owned a 3 door skyline same shape there stunning sounds awesome and drifts like a beast
Love the sound of that v6
That sound!💥💥🚀

Never seen them as a skyline but quite impressive from this video, great work Calv 💪🏻
I’m sure it’s same as infinity g37
@@sahilnazir2747 possibly, just never agreed they should have the skyline name, quite a difference from a proper skyline GTR R33 for example

Totally fine being a Skyline. RWD and 300ish hp, similar to a non-GTR R Body
My dad has one in Jamaica from 2007. Still has it to this day.
Once u get one of these you gain to love it , either buy another one or hold onto it
in Jamaica? that's cool
put a velocity stack intake in you gonna love it
Popular car in the US as an 'INFINITY G35'
Awesome video, made me check Auto Trader straight after watching but I guess its long gone!
BANGGGGG!!!!🤣🤣 Calvin you sure you Closed the Boot mate????
Jesus I thought my Mrs was Bad 🤣👍🏻
Spent sometime abroad in NZ and they have Skyline GTS-T GTS-4, GTS-25 etc.
We’ve got just about every jdm car known to man here in NZ 😂
Seen a few of the skylines about but only seen your one a couple of times it's usually the coupe, I love this one though
That's a type S, so you do get LSD, bugger brakes, different suspension, paddle shifters etc
a car that can do draggy times sub 6 seconds and its worth less than 5k is amazing!

If its a JDM import then they are limited to 112 MPH not KPH
I'd love to drive this around luton, my dad had the mk1
Don’t think I’ve seen this skyline before
great video the speed limit is 112mph 180kph
The car made me drift, officer. Honest.
Brilliant engine in those 350 z!! 💪
Big Single turbo the 3.7 or swap in a 2J or RB... I 2J swapped my coupe.
Reminds me of the thrill when I got the V35. Sooner I will upgrade same trim.
Your review inside the old 350z you looked so happy and were beaming :D great drive that haha
I remember this car, I tried to buy it when the owner was selling it on ebay. Nice looking car, wheels weren't for me tho.
What a beautiful machine.
Can you take the speed restriction off these?
This is much better than the 370GT, the VQ35DE has potential to make gains thanks to 350Z aftermarket support!
This is an HR.
And very expensive 👍🏻
@@barryhall7 The motor mounts are hella expensive too
Thanks for showing us this car Calvin as I have never seen one 👍

put the vayder kit on it

112mph not kph Calvin
Lv to see a vid about that kool s4 tho

G35 technically
The g35 saloon as different headlights

Gotta be remapped for that time. Also its already sold, shame it looks and sounds amazing man

They're just 4 door infiniti's

quashqai key that was tbf
Who did u sell this too i wanna buy it calv
I’m sure it’s same as g37 and g35 infinity
17:23 Diesel engine!? 😁
*infinity* G37* skylines have RB's this has a VQ so its really a 4 door 350Z/370Z. their aight car for the price.
It’s a skyline 350GT available in 2 or 4 door .. the 2 door coupe had rear seats so it’s not really a 350z
Isn’t that an infiniti g37
Not gonna lie i actually want this car..sounds sikk
Sounds awesome

Imagine putting a nissan gtr engine in that 👀
Prefer the Nissan skyline GTR R34. That's a 350 GT, don't see many in the UK
Cost as much as a mortgage down payment these days though😂

Would love to see a proper skyline on this channel!!! 32 gtr would make great content and inventory
That's a sexy skyline👍
Is there anything that can be done with the restriction on speed
It’s 112mph 180kph according to someone else’s comment
