When I first bought this car honestly was thinking only to use to go to work because my Camaro is drinking too much on fuel, but now I have to say, I have completely fall in love with V36, it’s absolutely amazing car to drive, so much fun and it goes bloody fast too, I love that VQ35 engine. I’m sure they will change mind straight after test drive it, it’s so comfortable especially when you have a long drive on the hwy. I think this car deserves respect for sure, $15k on the market with 6 cylinders and low kms, powerful and comfortable, I mean what else you are after? 😂

Hi. I have had my GT350 (2dr) V35 for about 17-18 years (imported, first Oz user). Only my weekend car and summer drive to work car. Never had a major issue. 6 speed box is 'sporty' and has never been a super smooth box, but reliable. The car cost me almost 50k back then, and I've been watching (heart breakingly) as the prices dropped away to almost nothing. Hopefully videos like this can change that! I can't actually understand the haters of this model. I've owned 33's, Silvia and others, but their build quality compared to the V's was almost laughable. Don't get me wrong, those Halcyon days of Turbo Lines were great, so much fun, they're just silly expensive now. Anyways, ace review, so thank you!

    • @RossReviewsau

The lack of big power easily is why it gets so much hate I feel unfortunately.. they don’t want a NA V6 but the VQ is a nice engine that sounds good and has enough go for a fun car.. prices are ridiculously low for what they offer!

As someone who has owned multiple Nissan Skyline, R30, R31, R32, R33, and R34 among others such as Laurel, Silvia, and Cefiro JDM imports in New Zealand. My interest of Nissan stops dead around 1999 model years, everything after that is just not what those before that were. These cars are just not "Skylines", I think they would actually have done better not being badged as a Skyline. Intentionally or not, I think those who had owned "old" Nissans just put thier noses up at these and didn't buy them.

They're out there. They're north of 200,000km on the clock so most of the clutch pack material will also be out there... in a waste oil drum somewhere... They're great cars for what they are but Aussies took a pill during COVID and banged all the bucks out of the economy, and now we're all scratching our heads wondering how to stop the painful inflation...😂

I’ll just get made fun of for driving an automatic😖 I do wonder if there’s a way to install the paddle shifters in it though…
