I'm so glad someone else is taking a look at modern technologies for these older bikes parts. I've been wondering about the pracitcality of using 3d scanning or CAD to replicate parts that exist so that we essentially can finally "print" or fabricate the fenders/bodywork of so many of these legacy bikes that just don't have the parts available or, even cost hundreds with no real diy option otherwise.
