Well, I have the iPhone 8 Plus, and it's still amazing. If they keep it compatible with iOS 17 I'll likely keep it yet again for one more year. Still the original battery, and it holds up well even now. It's easily been the best iPhone I've ever owned to date, and I started from the 3G.
I thought its clear iphone 8 is dead, no ios17. But you can use it anyway
Im on iphone 7 but bought a used xs with new original battery.
Hoping for 2 updates fron it. That means ill use it for 3 years.
@@tyraelkamh1875 Honestly, I don't count anything as clear until it comes from Apple themselves. I mean, I doubt it's going to get the iOS 17 treatment since it's the last Touch ID model, but I could see the X getting it one last time. The 8 series and X are all running the same processor, memory, and more with really the only unique thing being Touch ID vs Face ID from what I gather. Well, besides the obvious looks due to both factors. I guess we'll see in a month or so. Hope you get those two update cycles as well.

I agree, they should keep the eight around with Support. It’s still perfectly fast I have the regular iPhone 8 and a new battery installed January 2022 it’s down to 94% battery health. I’m good for another year if they kill it I think they’re just out for money and greedy. This device is still amazing.

I still have my iPhone X and love how it feels in my hand. As I get older, I appreciate how light it is and how easily it fits in my pocket the quality of the pictures are good enough for me. The speed of the phone is good enough where I’m never waiting. One of the reasons I have never upgraded as I hate those thick, clunky phones, and it hurts my hand and arm to continually have to hold it.
True. 5.8 inch a sweet sport for most hands. Wished apple stick with it

Thank you for this vid! I have a X and a 13-Pro. I upgraded thinking it was time, and all the new tech in the 13-Pro would be worth it. For the way “I” use my phone, there is nothing in the 13-Pro that is/was worth the upgrade. Granted, I do understand/appreciate/respect those that feel differently, and there is nothing “wrong” with the 13-Pro. However, what I sacrificed in size, thickness, and weight was not worth the sacrifices. The size, shape, SLIMNESS and weight of the X is FAR superior in my opinion. The camera in the X was just fine, the wireless charge was fine too - and I had to buy all new magsafe chargers (for home, car and travel), new case - basically most of my accessories had to be replaced and “for me, and my use” it was a waste of money. Perhaps in the 15 line-up maybe Apple will get a clue that these thicker and heavier phones are good for those who want all the newest tech, most megapixels, etc. but maybe the SE line might actually reflect an awareness that the size, shape, SLIMNESS and weight of the X has a real place in the market. I also wish Apple would bring back the round buttons, the current 13 buttons are difficult to feel, especially with a case (and I use the Pitaka which is/are very thin). I miss the size and weight of my X so much that I often think about re-activating it and selling my 13-Pro. I realize this opinion may not be very “popular”, but if more said these things out-loud, maybe Apple might actually listen.

@@its_lucky252 Kind of a no-content reply. Waiting more would not have changed this; the 14 series is just as bulky and non-pocket friendly as the 13 pro, it may have a few more bells and whistles - like dynamic island, again - something I do not care about. The Xs IS pocketable, the camera is just fine too - this has more to do with usable functionality (for the common user like me) and form-factor/pocket ability. “Waiting more” for the iPone 15 or 16…. Will be no different as Apple will continue to increase pixels, thicker cams and therefore thicker and heavier phone bodies. Not everyone needs or wants all the latest and greatest, some of us do not care about turning our faces into animated emojis, doing video editing or having maximum attainable megapixels when the camera on Xs serves some purposes just fine. I always welcome comments/feedback if/when I post a rare comment - but “you should have waited more” contributes nothing to this discussion and it does not address ANYTHING I wrote. Thanks anyway for reading, and trying to offer your input.

I think the 13 mini is the best feeling phone ever just my opinion otherwise the x is the next best but I own an iPhone 14 promax as my main phone so the iPhone 13 mini is my iPod touch/iPhone 5 replacement the iPhone 5 was acting as a iPod touch replacement for the time being but then I finally upgraded to the 13 mini about a week ago last Friday and I’m loving it I think it’s way better than the iPhone 5 and iPod touch because both of those are like an iPod touch to me but this thing lasts so much longer than 13 mini lasts about 10 hours or so over the five or six hours I’m able to get out of the iPhone 5 and the two hours I’m able to get out of the iPod touch sixSo it’s definitely a great upgrade the cameras are we clear and have way more zoom as well and just in general even if it was the same 5X zoom without 8×1 at 5X digital soon on the iPod touch and the iPhone 5 but the one X optical zoom and the 5X digital zoom is way better than ours combined way more detail as well
Same here but my 13 mini is my secondary phone. Only a few family members have the number for emerncy only. I shut off my 14 PM when I go to bed. LOVE the mini. It would be perfect if it had 6 g ram.

The beauty about iphone is that it can be used for years as Apple supports ios updates for years whereas Android devices except some flagships don’t even get 2 years of Android updates.

If I had the iPhone XS Max again I would still have it if it wasn’t the lack of battery and 5g other then that it’s a great phone

The size of the iPhone X is the reason I never got the Max size. iPhone XS size was comfortable and when I upgrade to the 13 Pro, I didn't want to go the Max size. Too bulky and too big. So I settled with the 13 Pro. I'm pleased with it. I did enjoy the XS when I had it til the 13 Pro came out.
