The glass roof was a revelation for me. Deflector varies with speed and after all the booming 911 roofs from 993 on I have had this one actually works and is just right for me and I have had the Boxster / spyder etc.
Wow, we are so different. I am waiting for a delivery of 992 911 gts. My build has carbon ceramic brakes (PCCB), light weight package with CF seats, read seat belts and red tachometer. No sliding roof etc. I am on the list for 992 911 turbo too. My turbo build has CF seats, no rear seat, 10mm lower suspension (PASM) and turbo S rims. Of course color is red on both cars. I prefer 4 quad pipes over round holes. Unfortunately on 992 gts you have to take sport exhaust. I like function over form. Light and fast. Plan is to drive gts incoming summer and turn in early fall for mid winter 911 turbo delivery.
The only reason I ordered the sport chrono was to get the “auto blip” for the manual, I don’t heal and toe, that’s an extra feature for the manual, otherwise I always build a car for myself, and I’ve never had an issue selling any of them, great video

I know you love the Ohlin R/T, but my first experience with them wasn't so good. I added them to my F80 M3 and while they did improve the damping, rear-end control, and small imperfections, they were were WAAAAY over damped for street use. They did smooth put the small stuff, but with the big bumps, it rebounded SO fast that it would put my head into the headliner and would activate the traction control system. Maybe they do a better job with them on Porsche, but I was not too impressed with the street manners on public roads on my F80 M3. I even swapped the spring rates for the lower rates of the M2 kit and while that helps a little, it was still overly harsh on large bumps for street use. I now have a 2022 GT4 coming soon and I know Porsche in general does a much better job stock for stock than BMW, but if I feel the need to swap the PASM out, I am not too confident that Ohlin has the damping curves and spring rates correct for that application.
MCS does. Motion Control Suspension in Alpharetta, Georgia .. MCS dampers are fitted to my '98 Carrera S (993) for a performance street application.. Could't be happier.. My '22 Cayman GTS 4.0 is to new to tell ... Cheers
@@michaelschneider- quite the timing, lol. I have had my 2022 GT4 for 3 weeks now and it’s fully broken in and the stock suspension it good to about 90MPH, after that on anything other than smooth pavement, it falls apart. I've always thought, every Porsche should come standard with a Sports exhaust as it's a sports car, as a no cost option. Every PDK car should be equipped with the Sports Chrono Package again as part of the package as it enhances the experience. These things as options are just Porsche ripping off their customers. I agree, buy the car you want though, not for max resale, not sure I'd even spec the Bose as I hardly ever listen to it on mine, never mind the Burmeister. I also agree the 4 way Sports Plus seats are more than enough. The wife loves the comfort of my 997 Sports Plus seats. Only thing I'd change is the colour, too many black coloured Porsche's, likewise silver. Current favourite is Gentian Blue. Thanks Janko, another great video. John
Thank you John for contributing to our community. I agree Sport Exhaust should be a cost-free option. YES to Sport Chrono Package but without the center clock. Thanks for the time you spend on my channel.

Only thing I don't agree on is the sport chrono driving modes, I find them very useful, especially when driving in the city or when your wife is the passenger 😜
Great walk through Janko. I’m so on the fence about a 2nd car to compliment my GT4. Something to run kids to school, tennis, and general errands; a 911 or a Cayenne? Did you ever discuss how well the S handles your winters?
