Ah. I have watched just about every reaction to the Rocky movies and yours Verdy, might just be my favourite and here is why. I have watched women be surprised that this isn't just a boxing/sports movie, it's a love story. And I have seen a lot of guys be just as surprised but love it for the sport and competitive nature as well. But you were the first person that I have watched that maybe enjoyed it from all perspectives. I know you are a competitive athlete and a young woman, obviously but you are the first that I've watched react that are both. So I think you have a unique insight to putting yourself in both Rocky's and Adrian's shoes better than anyone I've seen react before. So it has to be doubly joyous and doubly heartbreaking experiencing the highs and lows of this franchise. Watching that competitive sneer come out was something only a true athlete knows about. The respect and admiration for Mickey and also a real understanding of standing by a man (as a woman). This may be the best reaction to this movie on UA-cam. Great job! I can't wait for Rocky III! Verdi, it’s widely been said that at the end of rocky 2 when rocky and Apollo were trying to get up the crowds in the theaters were losing their mind and yelling at the screen for rocky to get up as if it was a real fight and then when rocky won the audience lost it and people were crying for joy
The movies should be rereleased just as is and they just charge like a couple bucks so current and previous generations can relive (or experience for the first time )a rocky movie in the theatre
I can confirm this. Saw it in Chicago opening night. Tears and screaming, high fives between strangers like a real fight. We felt like we were really ringside. I was 14 and I never missed a sequel opening night after that until Rocky Balboa due to being on the road.
Great Reaction..... Adrian is Rocky's Heart and Motovation..... He is powerless without her approval..... Loved it @verdychannel11 You are right! The first one was Epic! We saw Heavy Weight fights on the TV but they seemed slow and 'drawn out and slow' by comparison to even the first movie! It is one of thee greatest movies of all time. In the cinema watching 2 by myself I couldn't help but to cry because of Adrian! Thank you @Verdy 😺 Forrest Gump next please!
A beautiful reaction. ❤ I'm snotting , tears, and my dog is looking at me funny....and I'm 56 ...seen this 100 times. Don't matter. Again a beautiful reaction Ms Verdy. ( A). 😊❤
3 and 4 are really good, you will like them both I think....I laughed while watching some of your reactions because I could relate to them. I also allow myself to get emotionally hooked on a movie and will catch myself crying and cheering from time to time. It was worth the reaction of you smiling when Adrian woke up and told Rocky to "win" you felt that :)
Great reaction! Enjoy 3, 4, 5, and 6 (known as Rocky Balboa 2006). You'll love how Adrian and Rocky's personality develop with each sequel! Enjoy and God bless you!
Hey Verdy thanks for thumbs up on my comments. not sure if you are still doing the music thing, but there was an old rock band that i even did not know about - and I'm in my 50's - who were GREAT in the 60's, but somehow/somewhy never got radioplay later - like in the 70's where I would have known about them as a kid. Beautiful ending! Terrific movie! Better than the first movie, which is literally impossible. Had so much fun watching this reaction video of Rocky II.
The copyright bots are so dumb. I think there's lines of dialogue there that are sampled for a music track, hence the claim attributing the dialogue to a particular music artist. I would have disputed but that takes many weeks. And thank you for your feedback. She's great at reacting. - the editor
dear verdy, we love your smile so much, there is no other sweetest person in the world! we would love your reaction while watching The Legend. (a super classic from 1985)
Really enjoying your honest reactions. So many reactors feel like they have to speak through the whole movie, it’s so annoying. So their reactions are not genuine they are fake and sometimes rehearsed. One reactor actually accidentally posted a preview but the preview was a different take than the actual reaction. Same words but different tone. It really irritated me so much I never watched their reaction videos again. Yours are clearly honest and genuine. I don’t mind a reactor talking once in a while if they have a genuine reaction to something but not simply because they want to appear like they are reacting it just comes across unnatural and fake. You have a great balance and genuine reaction. Love it thanks!
He asked to be cut because the eyelid was so swollen he couldn't open his eye, thus impairing half of his vision. Making a cut on the eyelid drains the fluids, allowing him open that eye and see better.
@4:05 this is why Rocky keeps paulie around. The entire movie everyone complains about Paulie and rocky keeping him around but stallone in many interviews says Rocky is a movie about Christianity, forgiveness and redemption. At the end of the movie paulie redeems himself and helps Rocky and Adrian. This is why Rocky 1 starts with christ on top of the building and in rocky 2 when Gazzo asks him to come back and work for him he grabs his cross and says i cant do that anymore. Old school movies like this every scene has meaning and thought behind it.
I absolutely love your reactions ❤ All the Rocky movies are great in their own way. My favorites are Rocky 3, Rocky 6, & Creed 1. You're amazing Verdy ❤

I watch a lot of channels, but I've found some reactors do some things that are very annoying, so I've stopped going to their channels. What are the annoying things? Predicting what they think will happen. Spotting and naming actors in the movie. I don't care; I want a reaction to the movie. Talking too much. Laughing and joking, even when the action is serious or sad. Cutting the movie into tiny pieces so dialog is cut off or the scene is left half-done. You don't do any of those things. Wouldn't it be Awesome if on the birthday of the first Rocky, ALL of the movie theaters did a Full Roky Marathon with all 5 of the original films? Now that I said it....If they do that, I'm going to need a cut since I was the one that thought of it.. LOL
Les deux premiers sont les meilleurs, des vrais drames. 3 et 4 ça sent les années 80 et le divertissement qui passe avant tout, même si dans le 3 le thème est abordé. Pour le 4 je conseille la version récente que Stallone a remonté.
Yeah, the people who type these captions need their ears tested. You should see the captions for Rambo: First Blood part II. They're all over the place.
30 min mark, I like Mick too (i.e. Bergess Merideth(sp) - been dead since forever, but a great actor in everything he was in - from classic BW movies ("of mice and men") to the 60's TV show Batman (as the Penguin) - RIP Berg!!!!!!!!! and ya he right! - like Yoda! too i.e. basically Berg is saying "there is no try only do" Amen! personal story - 10 yrs ago - I broke my collar bone via a motorscooter accident - I work on a computer - all my life I used a mouse with my right hand - until my right arm ended up in a sling due to the collarbone. So I had to use the mouse with my left hand - and move the mouse from one side of the keyboard to the other - now the sling lasted maybe 6 months. what is funny is that I never switched back, 10 yrs later i still work on a computer with my left hand!!!!!!!!!!!! (the one difference is that now I can use either hand easily - so sort of a forced, due to circumstances, ambidextriousness (is that even a word?).
It is a word (although it's spelt 'ambidexterousness'). I became ambidexterous as a teenager in school. One day, while we were all faffing around waiting for the teacher to arrive, I picked up two pieces of chalk and wrote the word 'REFLECTION' on the bla... erm I mean chalkboard with both hands simultaneously, my left hand inverting the word from right to left as though it were a mirror image. I was originally left-handed. Later I would practice the same thing in my notebook and eventually started crossing my hands to perform the same trick, with my left-hand writing left-to-right and my right hand writing right-to-left. The eventual result of this silly little 'I'm bored so I'll doodle' exercise was that I discovered I could write equally well with either hand. It is a learnable skill that few people bother with unless they need to, as you described. I was just a very strange youngster.

For a different kind of *Stallone* movie watch *Escape To Victory* also starring *Michael Caine* and *Max Von Sydow* (The Exorcist). Set in WWII but It’s NOT a war movie, you’ll like it.
Sometimes people don't understand how terrible is for a man not being able to bring food on the table. Rocky was ashamed when Adrian said that she would work again
I just found ur channel I see like Basketball you watched Michael jordan Larry Bird and Magic Johnson mixtape now you need to watch Stephen Curry Mixtape.
53 min mark Apollo's trainer said to Apollo i.e. "you won, just move around until the fight is over" Apollo once again let his ego get the better of him - and in effect "forcing a knockout" resulted in him losing. Ya Apollo's character flaw is his ego - but he's still a good man - I refer you to Rocky 3. So ya we've all known egotistical a-holes, but they are not all the same, some are a-holes to the core, others are on the surface, but good at the core. Apollo is the latter, Clubber (Rocky 3) is the latter. 2 cents

I loved seeing your reaction when Rocky was asking Mickey if he could work around the gym! Your eyes tell everything! Your awesome! 😊

Rocky 3... arguably the very best of the series. Looking forward to your reaction
There were so many tears and sniffing in the theaters.
Then, in the fight finale, you could barely hear the movie over the audience's "GET UP!" yells.

Wouldn't it be Awesome if on the birthday of the first Rocky, ALL of the movie theaters did a Full Roky Marathon with all 5 of the original films? Now that I said it....If they do that, I'm going to need a cut since I was the one that thought of it.. LOL
I've enjoyed your reactions!!! thank you!!!
My favorite ending of a movie ever!!
"Ain't gonna be no rematch"
You are something special kid.
Cest tellement bien les Rocky. 😂 on est obligé de pleurer.
Ok. Today's version of Rocky 2nd.
Apolo : Will you fight against me?
Rccky : Of course. I'm the greatest P4P boxer of all time🤪
" Verdy" toujours au Top 🎬👍
You need to watch the rest. You won't regret it😊
Touchant comme réaction. Good job
Loved your reaction to this one. Do part 3.
She has already reacted to III, I'll be cutting it soon. Remember to subscribe if you haven't yet.
I loved it 🥹
Great reaction Verdy!
Thank you.
Movies with and soul.
Les deux premiers sont les meilleurs, des vrais drames. 3 et 4 ça sent les années 80 et le divertissement qui passe avant tout, même si dans le 3 le thème est abordé. Pour le 4 je conseille la version récente que Stallone a remonté.
FYI, Mick is cutting Rocky's eyelid so Rocky can see better - otherwise the eyelid would swell and limit his vision in that eye.
Yes these are boxing films,
but
They're Really Rocky & Adrian's Love Story
Rocky III now ! :)
She has already reacted to III, I'll be cutting it soon. Remember to subscribe if you haven't yet.
Encore une superbe réaction :)
56:49 Rocky says “You’re great” to Aollo, not “yo, creed” like the closed caption says.
Yeah, the people who type these captions need their ears tested. You should see the captions for Rambo: First Blood part II. They're all over the place.
Um Clássico inesquecível.
Has anyone mentioned that is Sly's brother, the great Frank Stallone singing? Isn't it?
you were fantastic
Rocky had him at the end of 1
2:30 the eyelid is swollen with blood so he cant see right. Cutting it open releases the blood so he can see again.
- like Yoda! too i.e. basically Berg is saying "there is no try only do"
Amen!
personal story - 10 yrs ago - I broke my collar bone via a motorscooter accident - I work on a computer - all my life I used a mouse with my right hand - until my right arm ended up in a sling due to the collarbone.
@@FrancisXLord I do think it might (I strive to be Humble, Grateful, and Wise - 3 vritues forgotten in modern culture sadly), be able to do what you did - after the other arm being cut off/etc...........and months/years of. But at the same time, I - no disrespect to you, I think maybe your brain was birthed more neutral - so left/right is are equal (Ambidextrious). Me? born cross-dominant All things Right side, except writing.
Thanks for reply and welcome your story - me? I've no more stories about collabones - only wished it would have fixed my mild dyslexia (fk the guy who mandated the ailment i have to be non-phonetic and so unspelible to folks like me - prob a cosmic joke ;-/.

@@FrancisXLord oh ya, just noticed: fk "political correctness/wokeness/or whatever the fk you want to call it" - I HATE ALL OF THAT SHIT. I don't care if you are white purple or green - as long as your character is good then we are friends.

@@gaffo7836 Haha. I often include 'wokish' corrections as little in-jokes. I'm not serious when I adjust my terminology mid-sentence. If I was I'd have deleted the 'bla...' altogether.
For a different kind of *Stallone* movie watch *Escape To Victory* also starring *Michael Caine* and *Max Von Sydow* (The Exorcist). Set in WWII but It’s NOT a war movie, you’ll like it.
You are wonderful.
Isn't she? Amazing reactor.
Planning a livestream this weekend? I hope your spirits are up and that you're really doing okay Verdy. 😇💤💤💤☁
Sometimes people don't understand how terrible is for a man not being able to bring food on the table. Rocky was ashamed when Adrian said that she would work again
In a dope depiction. Deadpool wolverine ELEKTRA BLADE
Obviously Rocky is a love story but it should also be a comedy. Hes hallarios
In a street fight you have to be able to adapt. THAT'S KENPO KARATE. ED PARKER TOLD BRUCE LEE AMERICAN KENPO KARATE.
I can move . Kobe Bryant loves CAITLIN CLARK
Never fight a south paw.
Like a rollercoaster eh?

You're very funny, new sub
Maintenant faut accroché un poster Rocky derrière toi. 😅
I just found ur channel I see like Basketball you watched Michael jordan Larry Bird and Magic Johnson mixtape now you need to watch Stephen Curry Mixtape.
Yo Verdy...how youse doing?
ELEKTRA BLADE GAMBIT the best of the best
53 min mark Apollo's trainer said to Apollo i.e. "you won, just move around until the fight is over" Apollo once again let his ego get the better of him - and in effect "forcing a knockout" resulted in him losing.
Ya Apollo's character flaw is his ego - but he's still a good man - I refer you to Rocky 3. So ya we've all known egotistical a-holes, but they are not all the same, some are a-holes to the core, others are on the surface, but good at the core. Apollo is the latter, Clubber (Rocky 3) is the latter.
2 cents
Deadpool vs ELEKTRA
