    Thanks for this video. There aren't many other videos showing how to make a router guide with side adjustment. There's just one other good one where the woman uses shop-bought T-tracks, which can cost some £40. I chose to make your version. Just finished making it today, can't wait to use it on my next project!

    How did you get the grooves in the cross arms that join the two halves together ?

    Hello , thanks for Your videos , I have a simple question from a very newbie ... At 07:10 You use the 6mm bit to refine the base , it means that with this jig , always You will use the 6mm router bit ???
    Thanks for You answer .

      Hello MB, yes that is right. If I am about to use this jig I need to use it with a 6mm router bit.

    Hi. Interesting jig. What prevents the router to touch the jig ? The aluminum bars ?

    • @AllFlavorWorkshop
      @AllFlavorWorkshop  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Andre, yes the aluminum bars. They stop the router and set the width between the router bit and the edge of the router stand. Anyway, keep in mind it works for one specific router bit. I am using a 6mm router bit, though if I used a say 12mm router bit, the bit would cut in the material.

    If I understand it correctly, this jig only works for a 6mm dado bit? :)

    Any chance of getting dementions of these builds including cut sizes.Knowing that your build size may not be the size that I may want but it gives an idea of what your idea maybe. In one of your builds you offered a PDF of the build,is that something you could offer in your future projects?Thank you,Barry.

    Hey, nice realization of this jig!! Did you use wood glue to glue your plywood on top of the aluminum? Cheers

    Excellent craftsmanship fella.
    Question: seeing as you run your router along that straight edge all the time does that mean you always have to use the same size router bit otherwise the centre would be off?

    Great video, thanks a lot.
    But, if I dont have any of the mentioned jigs above, which one do I start with abd in what order do I do the rest? I have a plunged router, Bosch POF1400 and a whole kit och Ryobi power tools incl. a circular saw. I do not have a tablesaw! =( Thanks...

    Great and accurate! What is the difference between this jig and the one (the longer) you use while you are building it?

    • @royprawira
      @royprawira 3 роки тому +2

      The long one has fixed adjuster, in this video can slide so router has stop block

    • @AllFlavorWorkshop
      @AllFlavorWorkshop  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Ahmed, thank you. The longer one does not have a stop block. It is unnecessarily long. With this shorter one, you can better set boundaries and if you switch/change the blocks you can snap the object you want to cut and make a precise rectangle cut.

    Great video. Looks like it will work quite well. Just 1 tiny suggestion....when making this vid it would have been helpful if the color of the background (n this case a cutting board) were a different color than your project. At times it was hard 2 distinguish which was which. :)
