I have a tip for you. When it is time to do the brim (7:25) you don't need to take the loop off the peg and pull one through the other, just put the bottom loop on top of the peg loop and knit them together on the next row! =) That's how I do it and it works just fine.
Even though the fabric is still **technically** on the machine, you are still doing the ribbing manually. Cool "trick" though, but I could probably do it by hand after taking the hat off the machine much faster (and easier) without worrying about "dropped" stitches.
Looks like an interesting technique for non-knitters, but personally I feel like it would be much quicker for me to handknit the ribbed brim and then somehow attach it to the body of the hat because, I also handknit. Cool stuff though.
Hmm, couple of 'experts' here, who obviously own one of these machines and know that once you get the hang of this method, you can really fly with it and can do an adult beanie in under 30 mins, oh wait...........
Love your tutorials straight forward,no vocals, clear instructionals. Its a YES from me❤
This is the best tutorial yet. Thank you.

Great tutorial!!!
This awesome...love the cat...
Love it! I just got an Addi for Christmas, and was wondering if I could figure out a way to add a ribbed edge.
This is awesome. Do u have a vid for flat panels. And so cute ur kitty wanted to help like mine do!
How do you stop the alternate loop coming off the needle when you wind round?
Would you say the prym is good for making adult hats?
I can't seem to get through 3 inches a hat without dropping a dozen stitches with my prym. What is my issue? not enough tension? too much tension?

I agree, this looks seriously time consuming
