    i need to start taking better care of my hair and you inspire me to do so kayli! i really lack self-confidence when it comes to my hair because it's so thick and frizzy a lot of the time and i'm clueless as to how to take care of it/style it. it looks like we have pretty similar hair types (2b/2c) so i'm looking forward to trying all the products you recommended! 🤍
    i know you showed your fav hairstyles but can you make a separate video showing how to do them? i always shy away from banana clips because i don't know how to use them 😅

    Very informative! My hair is the same as your's- fine, wavy and abundant! I'm thrilled to see how beautiful it can be. I like your videos about how you style your natural hair; over the years people with have told me my natural hair looks messy and unbrushed. I'm happy to see you flaunting your natural hair and I hope people will realize it's another hair type.

    Lately i realised that hair care is as important and pricey as skin care. But it is all worth it in the end. For hair care, u need as much product. I used to think finding the right shampoo & conditioner alone was enough. But i must find separate products that will care for my hair and my scalp. Which sucks ;-;

      My tip… Search for “cronograma capilar para cabelo •here you write your hair type in Portuguese•” (what would be “capillary schedule for •your hair type name•”)!!! You can search in English but you might find more accurate informations in Portuguese (and then you can translate to your language)!
      It is something that we do in Brazil (basically we’re as crazy for hair care as Korean ppl are for skincare if that makes sense)!!

      A pre shampoo treatment ( if u have certain hair conditions)
      Shampoo and conditioner/hair mask

      Use heat protectant while using heat
      Seems excessive but there's affordable options:)

    tresemme is honestly the worst brand ever. I had nice thick and long hair, they were frizzy but thick. I started using tresemme on a friend's recommendation and my hair has never been better like before. Its so thin i can fit it in a straw now. I would NEVER recommend anyone to use popular brands that say they give 'salon effect'. Such a fraud.
    Edit: yall stop telling me its "not bad"! I was literally telling my personal experience, it may be good for you but it will definitely forever be bad for me :(

    • @haileyrocker330
      @haileyrocker330 2 роки тому +24

      See that’s the thing! my theory is that it gives the “salon effect” effect in the salon because they just use it once and then they style your hair, but you yourself using it at home makes it super brittle and damaged because of the continuous use! either that or they give salons special bottles of actually good products that don’t suck so that it looks good in the salon and people buy it at home.

    I have wavy hair, a little looser than yours but what helps me get the best results when I style is:
    Style on soaking wet hair, use a spray bottle to keep hair wet
    Brush through the hair before styling with tension, kind of like curling a ribbon with scissors. It will minimize frizz and help clump the waves. Do this after a cream and before a hold product.
    Use a hard hold gel. Most wavy hair loves hard hold. Don’t be afraid of the crunch you get on your hair when it dries, take a few drops of oil and scrunch it out!
    Water weighs down waves, so for the most definition go straight to pixie diffusing (scrunching the hair with a diffuser) instead of hovering around the hair. Hope this helps at least a little when you style your waves!

    You should definitely look into itchy M’s and eliminate them from your routine. I get really bad allergic reactions from methylchloroisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone. It’s some of the most irritating preservatives and it’s almost certain that you will develop allergies with continued use.

    You can try coconut oil, it's best for my hair. My hair is 3b, so it's dry and now my hair is nourished so it is soft and has become wavy hair not curly like before. This is the way I use it:
    Before wash hair, I use one spoon of coconut oil for my hair (the coconut I use is liquid because I live in Viet Nam).This is really important, you use enough amount coconut oil, depending on the volume and length of your hair. If over it's hard to wash and maybe make your hair oily. My hair is over my shoulder little bit.
    After 30 minutes, wash your hair two times and finally always use condition to clear hair, if not hair always oily.

    I am from Poland and we have a HUGE hair care community here, and literally, every hair "guru" in Poland says we should not let our hair be greasy for a prolonged time, and we should not try to force it to need less washing and in a result walk with grease on our scalp or worse - use dry shampoo. It can cause hair loss, dandruff, buildup, etc. Using dry shampoo is really awful for our hair, it is unhealthy for the scalp, it clogs it, it builds up on the hair, so then if you use rosemary oil on the dry shampoo it literally doesn't do anything except creating even more buildup of a weird mixture of grease, oil and the weird thing they put in dry shampoos. So in Poland, we recommend that when we for some reason did leave our hair greasy for too long then we should do a chemical peeling of the scalp before washing our hair. Washing your hair every day is not unhealthy, as long as your hair requires it. It is more unhealthy to try to force it to last longer without washing and walking for a few days with grease and dry shampoo on our scalps.That is the only thing I don't agree with from your tips, everything else is amazing and your hair is beautiful

      Have you tried using salicylic acid on your scalp? I don't have personal experience with an especially oily scalp, but I know that salicylic acid is oil soluble and I'm pretty sure glycolic isn't

      @@InimeKai I was thinking of trying but I haven’t found any affordable salicylic acid toners/ liquids. It probably would help.
