Hey, I have an idea.🤔, why not make up a story or tell the viewers what's going on in the world with UFOs, government tests, drones,
Radio phenomenon.. it's factually happening, no need to embellish.
Scary sh** is happening my fellow traveler..
      Project blue beam,
      Remember Mysterio from Spider-Man,.

It's totally true. Does that mean that Dougie's videos are not actually real-life stories; the anecdotes said by people he's met? I'm a new subscriber so now I'm wondering if they're all made up. Which is okay, I just wish that fact was more transparent..

My late Grampy (who raised me from 3 days old) was named Henry & was a recovering alcoholic in his later years (after losing my Grammy, his wife of 40 years) who learned a lot of similarly powerful life lessons that he passed along many of to me before I lost him.
I'm also personally coming up on 2 years clean and sober at the end of this month. Needless to say, I definitely had to wipe tears at the end of this one, guys.

This was one of the best renditions of A Christmas Carol I have ever heard. It is timeless, yet totally modern. He took an internal journey just like Scrooge. There were even three “ghosts “ that he encountered who helped him to become the better man! There were many parallels, yet it was a new journey. Thanks so much for sharing this story. It’s something we can all learn from and relate to in one form or another. Whether your stories are over an hour or less than a half hour, they are all top notch! If you don’t post until after Xmas, I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas and an awesome New Year!! Lora.

Last spring my husband and I drove up to Mt Baldy for lunch. We took a scenic drive around the mountain. My husband pulled into a camping area. I immediately got the feeling of severe dread. I told my husband, please let’s go. There’s been a murder here. He turned and looked at me and said more than one. He grew up in the area and knew the history. When we got home I looked up murders in Mount Baldy and there were many, some including decapitations. Douggie I haven’t heard your story yet, but I’m sure whatever it is surely happened. I don't want to see, "I love you," cards from my children and little nephews, on my grave. I have to pull up my boot straps and really get some help for myself so I can be the best for them. Sad, though, because so many alcoholics will never recover, will never realize that they must take responsibility for their own lives. Its a particular perspective to change the way you see, think and feel about experience! It's like stepping out of a terrible darkness into the light! The fight is not easy, it takes determination, courage and great will, but what is the alternative? We love our families and drug addiction or alcoholism destroys them! We must stand up for the good fight, no matter the obstacles, no matter the challenge! Carry them all up with you! Much love!

I did not expect this at all. I just watched, and listened, mesmerized by Henry's story, and how you told it, *Dougie.*
You are a beautiful human being, Dougie. Your channel *is* my favorite one, and you are one of *the best storytellers ever.* Never stop. Keep doing what you are doing. You make this world a better place.

Well done! And such a desperately needed message.
I've been on my own journey, for 10 ish years and counting, of realization, perspective changes, taking accountability when it's due and also releasing the junk that isnt/wasn't my fault, Etc etc.... its a beautiful, raw, heartbreaking, albeit liberating experience. And Im thankful to get to experience that.
Happy holidays to you all... and sending love, encouragement and solidarity to anyone in need of some. 💜

My dad is a alcoholic & part-time drug user. He was mostly awful but especially at Christmas time. He was the type of person. If he's miserable, everyone around had to be miserable, too.

Dam Doug that was F*cking deep you nailed that destructive side of addiction thanks for including it I hate them memories but on occasion it’s good to be reminded what destruction addiction gives and brings and the people it pushes away not to count all the adventures you miss out on because your not wanted or stuck on liquid handcuffs ( Methadone) it’s hard to vacation when you need to be at a certain place everyday. I don’t miss that lifestyle or the so called friends that would throw you under the bus and lie to your face.
    (No it wasn’t me)
    My ass. 😳

Wow, if this is not a wake up, call for anybody who thinks that their family doesn’t matter and only they do. It’s a good one. Life is so precious and sometimes we’re too blinded to see. This was a good one. Dougie love your channel once I discovered you I just can’t stop watching. I’m so happy that you created an amazing following and I’ll be there until the end.🥰♥️

I kicked my dad out of my house on Christmas day almost 5 years ago. He was being a drunken mess, again, how he was for everything, always. By New Years day he was in rehab. He finished his program and has not had a drink since. I'm so proud of him and the VA for helping him.
