They didn't use the bridge in santa cruz, they actually used a bridge in the middle of rural surroundings just outside of santa cruz. Look up '' Adam the Woo :lost boys bridge location ' on UA-cam. It hadn't changed much since 87. To answer your question, .....some wide shots and close ups are the real bridge. Some close ups when the train is going over and when they're all hanging there was on a sound stage /set, yes.
