Who's ready for a totally new season and experience for SPT here on the Gamer Visuals channel? I decided to create a character and backstory this time around to make it a bit more immersive.
1. **Character**: Jack Mercer, a USEC operator, is stoic, pragmatic, and loyal, shaped by military service and the harsh realities of Tarkov.
2. **Personality**: Jack is a man of few words, preferring action over talk. He values silence and solitude but is fiercely loyal to friends and allies.
3. **Decision-Making**: Jack approaches challenges with a calculated mindset, weighing risks and rewards. He is guided by duty, honor, and a moral compass, striving to minimize collateral damage.
4. **Survival Instincts**: Jack's decisions are driven by a strong desire for survival and escape from Tarkov. He is not afraid to take risks but maintains integrity and righteousness in his actions.
5. **Adaptability**: Jack remains calm and composed in crises, able to think on his feet and adapt his plans as needed. He is determined to overcome obstacles and secure his freedom, refusing to be deterred by challenges.

Rules for SP Tarkov S3:
-when jack is “incapacitated” he is dragged to a random area of the map by friendly scavs and left with just basic equipment for survival. (pistol, basic med kit, food/water)
-Must escape to get back to his hideout and rearm.
-scav runs can only be used when jack is in dire need of help

You might take a peek at the "That's Lit" mod if you're finding bots to be noticing you from super far or in the dark, it's focused on delaying their awareness of you depending on light and other factors
Last season, you mentioned that you hated that scav bosses would kill you when you're a scav. There's a mod called server value modifier, it let's you change server values... Hence the name, lol, and you can make it so they're always friendly when you're a scav. There's also a lot more you can change in it too. Anyways, I thought I'd make you aware if you weren't already

I've had Tarkov for years but almost never played it because of the learning curve while dealing with cheaters and all but your channel made me try STP and I just wanted to say thanks because I'm finally loving the game I bought years ago! Subscribed!

It's def had the same benefit for me, I got the game really early on from a friend that gifted it to me. But it was something I rarely played cause of the cheater issue for the longest time. (cheaters weren't much of a prob in the early days so I got a lot of time in then) But after the GV pop on my feed with SPT, it game me a new motivation for play Tarkov again (both SPT and Live)
A shame I've played so much and experienced cheaters so little it's not affected my game at all

I’ve had Tarkov for almost a decade and barely put more than a couple dozen hours into it. After finding your channel and making my own SPT I haven’t been able to stop playing
SPT looks like fun and i’m INCREDIBLY impressed by the ai pathing and logic for Ai PMC’s. They act like real people for the most part and actually look like pmcs rather than raiders. Might have to pick this mod up (If it’s good that is)
Dude, its a wet dream for a father. I installed it with pause function and I am having a blast. Its so much fun to play.

Change the version tag in the package.json of the mod and it'll load it. Whether or not it'll work correctly is another deal @@Jajoo13

You got me into tarkov. I tried playing live tarkov, but do to life, having a 1 year old and such, i can only play a couple hours a week, so it wasnt worth it. Until i stumbled upon your S2 vids. Now im having a blast! Thank you!

Just a heads up, the mod "No Bush ESP" is already implemented into SAIN, and they both conflict with each other.

In case no one covered this yet... The blocky white artifacts that you have been seeing in the distance are trees at their lowest LOD (Level of Detail). LODs are used to optimize the game. So, when up close, something like a tree might have 50K polygons, along with the roots, the tree trunk and all the branches. But when being far away from the camera, that same tree will probably look like a single polygon with an alpha masked tree painted on it. Anyway, my guess is that the issue will go away if you increase the 'Object LOD Quality' from 2.5 to it's max setting.
It's actually caused by the De-clutterer mod. Might happen in vanilla too, I've never seen it tho.
@@audixas1it is the declutter mod, had the “artifacting” just on the trees, then all of a sudden jumped into a raid and the whole map didn’t spawn except for about a 30 meter range, Scavs and PMCs just spawned in as basic block men or what was even funnier, the base hitboxes with points of reference at the joints. Uninstalled declutter and everything like that was fixed. Kind of sucks because running declutter the last couple of weeks allowed to me to run streets on 60+ frames.
@@JJonahJiraiya set the texture resolution to medium to get rid of the white box artifacts caused while using declutter

There’s a cool mod called boss notifier or something. It lets you know what boss is in a raid when you get in, but you can make it so it only does it depending on your intelligence center level. I just find it gives intelligence center a new use which is pretty cool.

Hey man, probably a little late with this but you can press F6 to open the SAIN GUI and select a better AI preset. You can also edit how good their eyesight is.

dont know if youll reply to this, but do you have a custom mod load order? as some of the mods settings will interfere depending on when the spt server loads them at the beginning for instance setting bots to hard in SWAG and then having bot load in difficulty set to as online in SVM, means if SVM loads after Swag then the bots wont load in as hard.

Amands sense works on 3.8, and the white trees is because you have an outdated version of de-clutterer, the white trees issue was solved with the most recent update.

I just installed SPT and a bunch of mods. Fired up the game, and excited to start raiding, I haven't played in like a year. Between the grind, cheaters, queue times, I'm stoked. Opted for zero to hero too and I really like how you're doing it! "Scav runs when Jack is in dire need of help" wonder if those should cost money, like delete X amount of roubles, or owe the scav and delete that much when you get it lol

I just recently started playing SPT, and I feel like I’m just constantly getting ESP’d and aimbotted on by these AI. I’m using SAIN. Do you know of any way to adjust their detection/accuracy?
The white plates ''artifacting'' is from De-clutterer, because you have to have your texture quality on Medium (don't know if you found it out already, currently commenting while watching.)

Sometimes I'm just confused that you think you can use the closest extract, like in S2 you spawned at Big Red and thought you could extract at RUAF or Smugglers or here where you spawned close to Nakatami and was surprised you had to go to Emercom. I'm gonna enjoy S3 anyways. 👍

so those bugged textures you were talking about, its caused by DeClutter mod and in order to fix it you have to change models/textures quality to medium in tarkov settings 😊

Hello, Are they all scavs, pmc bot, offline mode or do they have players??
they're all ai. but there are ai simulated players as well
idk if you figured it out already but the artifacts come with declutter and texture quality. try a diffrent texture quality setting, that fixed it for me
It's the declutter mod, or rather an old version of it, causing the white artifacts. Look in the comments section of the declutter mod for a user called bakahashi, he has a fork that I use that works perfectly
I just turned winter mode off and it fixed it, lol

when shooting a gun without irons or optic put the center of your screen on the guy never try to line up the weapon model with them, for some reason the bullets will go to your screen center when you dont have a sight

Excellent stuff! I play my own style of hardcore. I have 1 single kit. I have no insurance until Prapor is level 2, and I pay 100K roubles anytime I want to use the "GIVEMESPACE" option as I personally really hate the grind to upgrade stash via the hideout. I do take an alpha case for items and I don't restrict what I put in there. It is a hardcore -light sort of playthrough but balances fun with challenge.

@@aapharambo1862 not at all. I've played plenty of PvP in my life but Tarkov asks too much of my time to stay within a chance of doing okay. SPT is there when I want it to be. If I don't play live Tarkov for a few weeks because of life or other commitments and I come back I'm on the back foot. Plus I don't have to deal with any cheaters in SPT.

@@aapharambo1862 Of course you don't get it, it's a bit more complicated than "you see head - you click on head". There are PVE games that are much much harder than anything PVP and there are good PVP players who don't like to PVP. I know, reading comprehension requires a bit more IQ than playing call of duty, but I hope this helps.
The .300blk notifications are a glitch that an AI grabbed the wrong ammo in a magazine but for some reason it gives you the notification.

Someone else has probably mentioned it and/or you figured it out already, but I believe the white artifacts are from the Declutterer mod, you have to set your texture graphics setting to Medium for that to go away

Why does your game look so good/clear? I play on highest settings personally and a 4k monitor but it looks nothing even close to this. Noticed as soon as you spawn it looks so good and im so jealous i need to figure out how to get mine to look like that.
That'd be the Amands Graphics mod. That fixes teh dogshit fogfest that is tarkov xD

I started playing SPT a few weeks ago when I learned it existed,after not playing tarkov for years just cause I don't have the time to git good against the lifers,spt has been so much fun but still difficult as hell
Also they definitely have aimbot I get head shot constantly

Honestly i thought the Green Flare wouldnt work, as its always the yellow one, that spawns on the corpse, Learned something new :D I was really expecting you to get shot there, mate :D 1:02:00

I download it the same mods, but my vendors have those things all out of stock anyone know why
I improved my FPS on all maps by limiting AI movement with AI limiter. If you put it to 200 m for big maps and 50 m for small maps you can prevent a ton of lag and spikes. You can also put Hard Cap in Donuts. I know that not a lot will die before you get there but they still will, 200 m is a lot. And game is smooth now.

@@gamervisuals meantime I found out that the real game changer is when you put number of bots that can move at the same time to 5 or less then 5. You can do that in AI limiter. My graphics and shadows are on high and I have constant 60 fps at 1440p that matches my monitor. 3060ti and ryzen 5600x, 32 GB 3200 MHz.
The enemy around 42:20 didn't look like it had armor, so I am at as much of a loss as you are about that with all of that blood coming out of him. Is that a boss thing? I don't know anything about bosses. Super weird.

is your game having a weird micro stutter at the start of every game? mostly when running and looking around
the micro stutter in the beginning of the raid is the Ai loading into the map
@@gamervisuals oh okay on my swag+donuts do I set both the PMC and scav spawns to starting pmc-more scavs to make it like yours?
I use Dad Gamer Mode mod because some of the AI exclusively hit you in the head with CRAZY aim bot. Helps with the TTK and not being 100% smoked instantly.
lol that extraction is typical Tarkov and the joke is this is SPT and yet the game is just as fun as if you were live, better even love this.

You can disable the AI aimbot in SAIN. Have to dig for the setting and I forget what its called but it do exist under SAIN (F6 menu)
so the artafactring is from winter mod if you really want winter you can go in to the config files and use the BSG snow / winter you need to go in to your aki data the server then configs then look for weather.json open with notepad ++ might even work with normal notepad and where it says "forceWinterEvent": make sure its set to true then you have winter without mods and its the one build in to the game
I got this fixed for episode 2. found out i just needed to update declutterer
Try to use Medium on texture resolution for DE-CLUTTERER mod has a bug with higher texture settings :)

Check your sain settings my guy, there are options to adjust bot difficulties and behaviors
