Humble servant, a noble listener here: Have you ever thought about submitting something to Black Library? No idea what that process is, but whatever boxes Black Library looks for it’s authors to check, I feel like you hit them.
Also, I'm fairly certain that Tesla was an alien, but not a Necron, and that Tesla devices and gauss cannons do not project green lightning that disentagrate anything in their line-of-fire! Jus super sayin', tho . . . .
Yet another entry from the "Get off my lawn" faction. I love the Necrons. Their look is awesome, their story is tragic and their technology is the most advanced the galaxy has ever seen. Necron Tomb Worlds are the only planets that the Hive Fleets go out of their way to avoid. May the Emperor help us if the Tyranids figure out how to grow a Necrodermis carapace.

The opening lines are a poignant reminder of the tragedy of the Necrons. They cannot feel the wind caress thier face, the gentle touch of a slow snowfall, the warm embrace of their loved ones, and they cannot feel their own voices. The one thing that makes every being unique is their voice and the necrons cannot feel the rumbling of their own voices from deep within thier chest. It is but a memory that each one is haunted by.
Just like what Baldermort said in a previous video about the necrons, "The tragedy of it is like nothing I have ever seen before."

Gotta say, I was completely unfamiliar with the units before this video, and I'm in love now. The image it conjured reminds me of Skeletor's flotilla from the Masters of the Universe movie all those years ago... and now the Necron sound like Frank Langella. And Baldermort.

My youngest plays a Necron army. It has been difficult, but have finally got him above 1200pts. His main weakness lies in his lack of "heavies". He has two of the above mentioned vehicles which do cause concern IF you're a Smurf. My guys just stay out of range. Necrons are always a fun fight.

as a long time fan of the Terminator franchise that found Warhammer 40k about a decade ago, i dived right into the Necrons' lore soon after discovering them.
the Necrons are not only descendants, they are worthy successors.
also, an H-K Tank being escorted by Annihilation Barges would be cool to see.

The way the beam bounces through a group of targets reminds me of the Wunderwaffe DG-2 from CoD zombies... but hellishly more powerful.
Necrons are post physical beings. They’re just consciousness and not reliant on a container to work, just to interact with the physical universe. Driven insane by their physical memories and the degradation of ages passing.

I'm basing my own Necron Army on a Persian Dynasty, using a lot of barges as stand ins for chariots and of course a focus on Immortals.
Old robot shakes fist at sky.
I remember one time, before they changed how Quantum Shielding works, I had a Chaos Knight locked into melee with an Annihilation Barge. Thinking I was being clever, instead doing the smart thing and stomping the stupid thing to death, I instead opted to use the Thunderstrike Gauntlet, thinking I'd get an easy insta-kill and get to do the hilarious thing and huck the barge at my opponent's warlord. Imagine my utter shock at the sudden realization that that was the dumbest thing I could have done in that moment because the Barge absolutely negated that attack and proceeded to buy enough time for the rest of my opponent's army to turn the tables on my Knight.
Poor Necrons. They never had a chance to not be evil. The Ctan saw to that. Maybe they could have had a chance if the Old Ones has bothered to chase the first Ctan away from their homeworld’s star, maybe they could have had a chance. I wonder if any of them ever consider attempting to return to a biological existence.
I'm pretty sure the silent king wants to reverse biotransference using humanity's bodies

It’s not humans bodies per say, they are collecting samples from around the galaxy to make much more advanced immortal biological bodies and in that case human bodies fall far short.
@@lordesquire8862 if the necrons could be adversely affected by the passage of time even with stasis technology it seems unlikely a necrontyr would have made it but I dont know, would be cool though

The Necrons are so fucking cool, but I wish they weren't ever an organic species. When I first saw them in the setting, knowing nothing of the lore I just assumed they were robots.
