- The unlikely matchups keep coming! Not only was this matchup previously impossible until this year, we've lucked out in that our players are very high level. KOPDSD, a Master level player from Korea pilots the Genetron, while Tom Sawyer from Team Hard wields the UED. Spoiler Alert, Sawyer busts out some units we have not previously seen very much of making this a very entertaining match.
New to the Genetron? This link will show you a quick tutorial video on how to add them into your own SCII game to play. The Genetron (and keiron and xayid Scion races) are free and are perfectly compatible with your existing SCII game.

The Peenemunde is super cool, i hope we see more about UED vs other Scion races
I've been thinking that Peene's are fun to watch because they have some of the drama of the nuke. Whenever a terran nuke's I can't look away, I
just stare watching to see if it will actually land. Peene's replicate a bit of that drama, just on a smaller scale. Maybe a disruptor shot is a better analogy. My point is, I agree, Peene's are fun.

@@TheSteveAsa you want to create a custom game and select the mod called "ALL RACES PVP". Then under the "Default" option you can select UED as a race option. Hope that helps! If you are unfamiliar with creating mod games, I have a video tutorial which helps explain the process.

I saw KOPDSD and expecting a bit of a 1 sided game, but wow even from behind that peenemunde use was so cool, imagine you're the super Ai genetron and all of a sudden your opponent from earth fires their latest experimental superweapon and blows up 60% of your army in a matter of seconds.
I wonder if over time players at KOP's level of skill will adapt and learn to dodge the targeting disks. I guess they won't be able to, if they're using moles, but more mobile units in theory should be able to. If that happens investing in Peene's at high-level of play will be hard to justify. But for now they are just so fun to watch.

Looking at the victory screen, I am reminded that the old equalizers had much more distinctive details. Now they are a bit more in the "box on wheels" category.
Also, in theory, the UED should be very good at big tech switches since they produce out of one building type, much like the zerg. Now just to make the switch big enough to actually catch someone with their pants down.... Imagine 20 of those strike fighters suddenly appearing in a lesser player's base...
You are so right, Josef. The zerg has centralized production and, late game, one of its greatest weapons is its ability to change its composition on a dime and totally mess with an opponent. The UED is, or should be, very similar. I guess a slight difference, the zerg just uses its mineral depository (the hatchery) whereas the UED at least has to make a production structure: the teleportation node. But now I'm splitting hairs. I wish I'd thought of this point first.

Pretty cool stuff was showcased, unfortunatelly KOPDSD had a huge lead from the very beginning, so overall the game was very one-sided :( Btw I have a feeling TomSawyer is someone's alternative nickname, right?

with ued against genetron can be easy win , just abuse anti armored units
That's what I thought at first, but Genetron has a number of units that have the light tag instead. It turns out that despite their appearance the Genetron are as diverse as any other race on that score.

@@pedrocazes5072 Oh, I didn't make the mod. It was actually made by a cool fellow by the name of Visceroid. I think I've cast one of his games actually. It's called "ALL RACES P V P" if you're looking to test it out.
