    This is the section of youtube I enjoy most. close knit groups of people seeking unrecognized artists, or cover artists. Great music can be found :)

    the way you play it. I just love it. I started playing guitar about 2years ago, just learning from youtube and my sister. She first showed me this song about a year and a half ago and told me to learn it. Just starting the guitar, i told her that would be impossible.. And today, 2 years later im here. Finally got it on guitar, and now trying to put my own style into it. But yours.. Man i just love it. Sounds like a whole new way to tie the song together.
    I love it.

    Tell ya what, this sounds awesome when I play it thru the stereo in the truck via the usb jumper from the iPhone. To be honest I like the sound your version has compared to the one they play on pandora. This song does fit with the wv town and the area around it, love it when I get a load to our Martinsburg or Winchester plants, lots of pretty scenery there.

    Hi John, first, place a capo on the first fret...the low string will then be an F, next tune the fifth string down a half step to A, fourth string tuned to C, third string tunes to F, second string stays at C, and first string stays at F...have fun!

    This is a wonderful version of Berkley Springs. I love it! Great guitar work and the Martin sounds great. What model is it? Are you playing through an amp?

    • @dsliceable
      @dsliceable  7 років тому

      fouramhq thank you for your positive comments! The guitar is a Martin homc-16re, it is no longer in production. I plugged into a inexpensive mic-pre then into an old analog mackie board and added a touch of reverb

      +BAdrummer1988 LOLOL. It's the best cut of this song on UA-cam by a mile (including Don Ross) but here we see the UA-cam Commenter Critic talking about how it 'loses pace'. The phrasing here was ridiculously good... but thanks for your awesome insight about 'pace'.
