I've heard three songs so far, and I can't think of a reason people aren't going to buy it. Plus it has that an emotional edge that only comes once from legacy. Come to think about it, I don't think Wolfgang has even played that card yet.

Ikr? One of the valid critiques of rock and metal is that in the past 20ish years its forgotten how to have fun. Or at least how to not always be super depressing and heavy.

I blame Nirvana for the depressing tone of rock since the early 90's. It had its place then and Nirvana had some great songs but the whole grunge thing was very depressing.

    • @user-wv5gv3dw5u
      @user-wv5gv3dw5u 3 роки тому +6

@@BKC-jq6of Nah it has nothing to do with Nirvana and genuine sadness or depression being expressed . I'd say its more to do with gatekeeping and either your music needs to be hardcore/metal or appease boomers who stopped listening to new music after 1989. Also the world is getting ALOT shitter and entire generations are getting fucked over and its being expressed in the music. But every 20-30 years things come back in style. Bands like Oasis and even the pop punk scene are almost 20 years old now and its coming back in style

_From losing my Ex 'Melissa' the Love of my Life, on 2/27/2013_ (Cancer)
_From losing my Best friend 'Miss Tucker' 1/2/2014_
_From losing my Best Human friend Lisa Falour 1/5/2015_
_From losing my 2nd Best friend Susan Nolan 3/9/2020_ (Cancer)
_From cleaning up my Brother-in-laws's mess he made by shooting himself in the head._ (8/27/2018) (suicide)
*Not only did he die but it's killed our family*
_Then my current GF cheating and lying to me._ (Gave her 3 chances...)
_Losing my job of 8 years on 9/27/2019_ (It was suggested I was a Chinese spy!) lol (Funny yet sad stuff there, I'm 100% American made.)
    Then covid hit...
_Losing an old Lover's sister to murder on 8/11/2020._ (Miss and L♥ve you Amber Griffith.) (Miss you too Christina, I'm sure Ambers told you how much I loved you.)
Much more heartache and loss before and in-between this breakdown, it hurts.
And, *I just can't move on.*
    ~
Here's a poem I wrote when I caught the Love of my Life 'Melissa' in the act of cheating on me in 1994.
_He reaches out but grabs on to noting with his cold hands._
_If he could only see what it is then maybe he could grasp on to it._
_But the light has been blown out by the wind of jealousy._
_He puts his hands in his pockets and walks away._
_Not away from the Love he once knew._
_But away from the Love, he wants from you._
_Tis a sad tale of a heart that is true and a Love that once grew._
_Only he knows deep down it's true, how lonely he feels without you._
